He switched trajectory again, jumping back and blocking the second blow. His defense wasn't perfect however; his right side was slightily vulnerable.

Fina just switched up. Her right saber held back in it's usual place while she swept her left hand to the right. The movement was meant to make the saber go into a swing towards Eldin's side while still holding the sword backwards.... She wasn't sure how much longer his defense would last, and knew hers wasn't perfect, but when such defenses are left so painfully obviously unguarded, then he should be taught about how the sith would exploit them as quickly as possible... So, the attack went directly for his right side....

Realizing his error, Eldin cursed himself, and made a very dangerous flip backwards, burning his cloak against her blade, and forcing himself off balance. Luckily, he put enough distance between the two of them to re-erect his defenses.

The jump had taken him far enough away, and he had gotten away from her attack... But she wasn't going to let up on the match. So with a quick jump, she launched herself toward him, left blade up front and right in back as usual. This time, her left blade would go for a quick slash at his right side while her right blade would come around and slash just under his neck, at his collar bone....

Eldin held up his blade at just the right diagnol position that he blocked both.Turning inwards, he removed his blade and came around to attack her back

Fina felt each attack blocked, and was about to move to block him, but she felt the sting of the blade at her back, and quickly took a few steps forward, out of her battle stance, distancing herself from him and deactivating her sabers. "Very good, Eldin." She said, smiling as she turned to face him. "Your defense is good. Aside from the one time you left yourself just a bit too open, and even then you corrected yourself before I hit you. I'd say the only thing that needs work in your saber forms is not leaving any very obvious openings like that."
She felt a small urge to say something about being able to block the attack he'd thrown at her back, and guessed it was her racial pride kicking in. She'd just let it go, as usual and not bring it up. She was a Jedi Knight... And besides, she wasn't fighting as she normally did. She was fighting violently and ignoring her defense, mostly. "I suppose we've got a while to wait until we're sent on any missions... Eldin what force abilities were you taught so far?"

"Most everything an apprentice can learn: healing, pushing and pulling, levitaton, air control, etc." He gingerly rolled his shoulder after putting his saber up.

Fina nodded. Good... This means that there's little I can teach him other than how to become better with his abilities... her eyes looking to his own again, she decided to continue. "Tell me what abilities you have trouble with, if any..."

He shrugged, clipping his lightsaber back to his belt. "I have the hardest problem with healing and air control. I focus on pushes and pulls to help with my dueling..."

Fina nodded again. "I also had the most trouble with Healing, and so far I haven't really had to use it, aside from after a sparring match when I was still being trained... So I'm afraid the only way I can offer help with that is by reminding you that it's simply using the force to make someone's cells regenerate faster. As for the air control... Well, try closing your eyes and using it right now." After speaking, she'd cross her arms and focus on observing him, trying to sense how he'd use the force for the ability so she could better assist him. Until she knew how exactly he was having trouble with this power, she couldn't help him...

Eldin frowned and folded his arms, reaching into the force. He couldn't feel it at first with his slightly strained breathing, but as he reached farther, he slowly felt it and pulled. After several moments, his breathing became more mundane and secure.

DJ stop meditating, exhausted.
"Damn i guess no one will train me" DJ thinks to himself "Maybe ill take a break first and try agen in a few hrs"
DJ takes a trip back to his ship to check it out and make sure everything is ok then returns the main hall and begins to meditate again
"Hopefully someone will chose me this time" he thinks to himself as he focuses on putting out as much force energy out so that some master or knight will chose him as an apprentice.

Fina shrugged her shoulders after watching him for a moment. "I'm afraid I cannot find anything wrong... Perhaps you only need practice, Eldin." She said. It simply seemed like he just didn't use it enough to have enough of a grasp on how to use it effortlessly... or atleast mostly effortlessly...
Fina didn't think she should ask Sephiroth for assistance on training him. He was her first padawan, but he Sephiroth was being bothered enough by people already. Even a Jedi needs a break every once in a great while. Aside from that, most of the other Jedi didn't seek aid with training a padawan, and they simply remembered back to their own time as a padawan... Maybe I was made a knight early... After that thought she brushed it aside thinking that he wouldn't have promoted her unless he was absolutely sure she was ready. That concluded in her head, she was ready to continue.
"Okay, let me see how well you can use your force powers in a fight, Eldin." She said, bringing her right saber to her hand and igniting it, holding it one handed at her side. "Think of this situation as if it were a real fight, not a spar, and don't hold back." She thought it would go without saying that the fight would continue until one of them incapacitated or disarmed the other. She moved her left foot forward, bending at the knee as her right foot steped back slightly, pointed off to her right. Her left hand at waist level held slightly forward while her lightsaber in her right hand was held slightly off to the right, pointed towards Eldin.
[Erm... Back from my visit to my grandparents. Sorry for my absense and all ^_^;]

He looked at her, then nodded and returned to his sparring position, his blade drawn, and ignited, facing down at his feet. He began circling her.
