Of course we do. It's part of the nature of an environment where we're autonomous.
It's why I don't like to MSN voicechat when my family is around, because I'd get the weirdest looks. xd
Although, my mask is slowly becoming my own face. Not sure if that's good or bad. xd
Before I started gaia (when I was, like, fifteen?) I was the shyest, most self-confidence-lacking kid you could find.
After a few months of chatting anonymously, making friends, and just being able to be in an environment where I could say the kinds of I wanted to without fear of consequences, I started to be more social in real life too.
After a year or two, the real me changed more or less into the gaia me. I don't think anything bad has come from it. I have way more friends than I did before, I respect myself more, and I have awesome wavy hair.
Tch, short and spiked is where it's at.
Maybe the joke wasn't clear and I didn't gay it up enough.
