As for the worthwhileness of an artifact, well, it won't hurt your Battle for Beijing performance, at least. razz ))

Paul immediately went artifact shopping. Oh, and ammo shopping; if he could find phase ammo, great, but if not he was going to buy regular ammo and perhaps a few extra STANAGs to supplement his power. A few grenades would be good too.
In particular he started searching for an artifact that would either allow him to tap the Shadow Dimension with ease, an artifact that might assist him in creating ammo on the battlefield, or a mana cell.
