Hello. (: As most of you in here, I play flute and piccolo. And what sucks is I don't have the flute I play in symphonic band repaired and I am not going to use the flute I use to play in marching band with to practice. And most of you are section leaders and first chairs, blah blah blah. (: My section is an open section, we all are kind of leaders (we, meaning the older marchers/players). And we do chair tests now, because we have a new director. sweatdrop Is it bad to be in Sophmore year and have had a new director every year ? xp It really sucks. I feel really random and awkward.... But yeah, go flutes and piccs !

RmeGamr oppo_pirka_zefie i'm so lucky i have two flutes...one of them, the one i used most often...well, it got dropped and the trill keys won't work now. waiting until after new year's to get it fixed... i am so sorry... thats gotta suck. trill keys arnt always the cheapest to get fixed. i know. we're getting it done after the new year, when all the bills are paid off and we can use part of the tax return on it...but that's like, forever from now!

Trill keys are hard to fix....but i don't really know ha I just learned most of the higher octave one's phew difficult!

eek wait... the trill keys? If those are the ones i'm thinking of, well, i broke mine twice (not one the same flute though) and my BD fixed them in like 2 minutes... then again, my BD carries a huge fix-everything case around XD

If those are the ones i'm thinking of, well, i broke mine twice (not one the same flute though) and my BD fixed them in like 2 minutes... then again, my BD carries a huge fix-everything case around XD trill keys are the little tiny things that go between your three main fingers on your right hand.

I am completely serious. lucky. mine doesn't have much...a few screw drivers and that's about it...and to top it all off, my mouthpiece is bent, so when i try to put my flute together...guess what! it doesn't go together!
