Oh hey! A charity RIG that benefits Child's Play. I think I'll buy one or two. Although, the description rather sadly reminds me of zOMG! sad
Edit: Oh cool. Looks like all of the classes have wigs. Now if the damned turn around button only worked. And is that a He-Man sword I see? I wonder if I should sell them and buy my favorites or risk opening and getting the common stuff.

Agh... why is this taking so long? This should be the easy one to edit - everybody loved it. I still have two poems that need a complete overhaul, two entirely new obstruction pieces to do, and a journal I know I'm not getting done at this point. Why do a procrastinate like this? I know by now I can't count on my health cooperating. >.<
And I'm not even sure I like the changes I've made. It's mostly just adding bits and pieces around the dialogue to make it more clear who is speaking or how they're speaking. I'm not sure if it makes it easier to read or breaks up the flow. I should have done this when there were workshop days left, because nobody I can ask now is going to have an opinion.

Aeolusis Okay, so last week after celebrating my birthday early with friends at olive garden we went to a friends house and played apples to apples and I got drunk off my a**. By the time that I needed to get home, I was wasted after about 7 shots worth of vodka and cranberry, so I had my friend drive me an my car home.
We had just gotten onto the freeway when the rpm went high for some odd reason even though we were just driving 65. The next thing I know I hear the engine knocking hard and smoke coming out of the engine compartment. We had to pull over to take a look. There was nothing much we could do to damage it so it was decided to drive as far as possible; which ended up halfway up the off ramp.
My friend that was following us, drove his car to the gas station just a block away and walked back to us to help push my car to the gas station.
I just have this to say. I AM SO ******** GLAD MY CAR IS LIGHT!!! gonk heart
I was able to get sobered up real fast after that exercise. sweatdrop I called my parents to get my car towed home but dad didn't have anything to attach my car to his truck.
Thankfully my friend that was driving me had AAA and called for a tow truck and I was able to get home with my broken car.
Because there was no luck in finding a junkyard engine for my car for this past week my Nissan was considered a lost cause. However, my parents talked about it and decided that they were going to buy me a new car. The only catch is I need to get a job ASAP and to work with school. So after Finals this next week, I'll be looking for employment.
Today, my folks and I went to too dealerships, KIA and Toyota. At KIA we looked at the SOUL, though they were giving us the runaround, and didn't treat us very good, so we went across the street and looked at the Yaris which was the first of two we were going to look at, the second was the Scion xD. We never got to the Scion, I was hook with the Yaris, and so was my dad.
So now, I have myself a brand new 2010 Yaris. And because the person that quoted us on the Yaris, which we were looking at online first before going down to the dealership ******** up, we got the car $2000 less then the sticker price. mrgreen heart
Despite losing out on my old car the week before my birthday, two weeks before finals, three weeks before Christmas, everything turned out good regardless. My Nissan broke down close to home, on the weekend, and not during the week; it wasn't that bad of an inconvenience. The only thing though, this'll be my birthday/christmas present for 3-4 years. sweatdrop I own a Yaris Hatchback myself since 2005 and I love it. Lucky you for having it for 2000 bucks less XD

Dunno why I got so hungry all of the sudden. I don't think I'll be ordering anything online seeing as how it'll be ridiculous trying to get it here before Christmas. Plus, I'll probably be working at the time so the surprise would be ruined. Ah well. Not a lot of people want a lot of things this year, which is nice.
Also, hate working retail. srsly. gonk

Sevi Rais Nice Ryo!! Yeah, you probably won't be getting a lot of presents any time soon but a new car is fantastic! Congrats on it! Buuut sorry you have to get a job. It's also hard to get a job especially after the holidays. I was lucky to get one myself and only for the month of December. :/ I doubt I'll be staying but then again I like babysitting this kid name Cole. It's so awesome. Arg. I MISS getting paid every week. Arg. crying Buuut I should be paid this week anyway. I want money now so I can spend it. srsly. gonk Thanks Sevi. Yeah, a new car wasn't on the top of my list, but when my engine blew out I was accepting of getting a new car. <3 The only thing that I wanted for christmas/birthday is an iPad for school, but that's not happening now. sweatdrop I've been needing to get work for a while now, but my school schedule has conflicted with me getting anything. confused Now, I only have one class monday and wednesday during the spring semester, so I should be able to get a part time job. I just need to get a resume and cover letter put together. Beni: I was considering going for the Hatchback, but the only ones at the dealership were 3 doors and I wanted minimum a 4 door; the didn't have the 5 door Hatchbacks. I love this car, other then the fact that it had no power locks. I can deal with it though. heart Yeah, I'm glad my dad stood his ground. heart

I recall that the 5 doors option in Canada did came with the power locks as a feature, but I guess they don't equip these small cars as much in the US as in here as they are a huge portion of the market.

I only have one request: can the weather skip the snowfall until thursday? I just want to have a painless drive to where my job send me, which is an hour drive trip on a countryside road. No highway for the Beni on this one...

So, a friend of mine just let me know that the last time we hung out together there was a girl hitting on me.
Not only was I totally oblivious, but I totally snubbed the girl much to my friend's amusement. She thought I was doing it on purpose. Only makes me wonder how many times I've done that before.

Haha, Wolffy. (:
Great. Now my co-workers hate me. Not for any good reason. I have nothing in common with them and they're all in their teens or early 20's (though I am 24). Still, they act like teens a lot and it's aggravating. So, of course, they just degenerate into total idiots. :/
"Hey, we're gonna call you 'Blue's Clues' cuz you're a total mystery!"
Pretty much what one guy told me. It's weird because he's trying to act nice towards me but he's not genuine. But, seriously? What a freaking loser.
Also, they're a group of 3 and they're pretty much sabotaging me. First, I wasn't working too hard because people were cynical about they're work and they didn't want to be there, so I didn't want to either. :/ Then I noticed that they left me a lot more in one section of the store and would never help me. I thought I might have misinterpreted but ... no.
So I'm going to talk to my manager tomorrow to see if I can get moved or something. I doubt it but maybe they can put me somewhere else. :/ I mean, seriously? There can't be any ADULTS in the room? They have to act like children all the time? Man, do these kids care about anything but themselves? I dunno. It's just sad.

To be fair, I was probably thinking about videogames or cartoons or cats or whatever my mind wanders off to on a regular basis.
Speaking of which, beta kind of borked Minecraft a bit. Well, all updates do that, but still. Being able to wait awhile won't hurt you any on that front.
I feel bad because not only are there new (to me) games that I want, but I really should get around to some games I haven't beaten. And then I still want to replay some of the games I own, because watching people go through them makes me remember how much fun I had with them and aaaahhhhhh.
And people wonder why I haven't seen a movie or watched any tv in forever.

My massotherapist is always asking me if I've seen any good movies, lately. Drives me batty. The only time I watch movies is if my dad comes for a visit, since that's always been our father/daughter bonding activity. (Well, not always. But I don't think either of us are up for an all-day mountain biking excursion and he's so rancid at video games any more that it's no fun playing against him. I can't believe this is the same guy I could never win a match on. I don't think I've played a fighter with someone who was actually a challenge since the arcades started disappearing...)
But yeah. Don't watch movies, much. I keep meaning to rewatch Labyrinth. Never happens. I bought the DVD of the Phantom musical with David Staller and the sequined mask of disco doom a year ago for shits and giggles. Still haven't watched it. And I kinda want to watch the 2004 Phantom in French (I think my DVD has a French dub on it) because my whole problem with that version is Gerard Butler can't carry a tune in a bucket and, since I know the words by heart, anyways, maybe it would actually be enjoyable...
