"She never mentioned chidren to me," Ranu replied, "But she may have to Emily. I'd offer to ask, but she died a little before I left London. Returning from visiting Auntie Narcissa." He looked att he blade with a frown, "How did you get that?"

Ranu looked faintly disturbed at the knowledge that 'Crazy old Auntie Nar-Nar' was actually magical, "That sword hung over her fireplace. I used to watch the flames reflections in the metal as she old us stories about elves and magic, and the such."

Ranu thought back. "She used to kneel beside the fire, and look to light the matches, but the wood always burned so quickly... And whenever I felt thirsty, she would leave the room and return within seconds, yet her water pump was at the bottom of her garden and often stuck solid." He frowned at a memory. "One time she was arguing with father, and he sudden;y went silent, clutching his throat, and couldn't speak for hours. We thought he'd just lost it but maybe she did it...?"

"Maybe she meant you was like a child to her, in all but blood? I am told people can feel such a way about people at times." Ranu replied, watching the bullet.

*Richman checked his pocket watch and stood still as the bullet hit him. He moved aside his coat to show that the bullet had made contact witha medallion hanging around his neck and stopped.*

Richman: "I guess you could say I am very lucky. I don't mean to interrupt your conversation, but.."

*Richman kicked Natasha in the chest and grabbed Ranu by the collar. He swung Ranu around and finally dropped him on Natasha.*

*Zuan tucked his gun away in his belt and got into a boxing stance.*

Zuan: "Very well, Admeral."

Kibo grins, and steps forward, jabbing at Zuan, while simultaneously covering his legs in many light kicks.

Kibo dodges the hit, and moves his one foot to the place Zuan's foot is about to move each time he dodges the other foot's kick. Zuan was falling right for his trap. Sooner or later, Zuan would trip up, and Kibo would take him down. The most damaging Pankration moves could only be preformed by a downed opponent.
