OMG. *EXPLODES ONTO THE SCENE*

I played through Radiata Stories. What a good game. If you like RPGs, you should check it out, it's really funny.

I would just like to log the fact with everyone that no matter how much I try, I cannot seem to cheat at Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, even with me trying to patch the damn rom file I cannot seem to cheat. xd Woe is me, having to obtain a Nosada through normal means. (the Nosada is the only weapon in the game a ninja can learn the double sword skill from, and must be stolen or obtained by random luck) crying

Pssh, FFTA is easy; no need to cheat. Although, the finding weapons thing is irritating... But way more fun to get through missions/randombattles.

I won't dispute that it's a great fun game, but my goal is to have at least Marche with double sword by the end of the game. No easy task when you can only get that item once guaranteed in the first play through.

Double Sword is very useful for Marche; I remember my double-sword weilding Paladin Marche. domokun Kicked a**.

Okay!

I just went through and backlogged this entire thread to see what games people have recommended. sweatdrop There are a handful of games I'm interested in picking up, but I don't really know if they're any good. (This isn't all the games I'm thinking of getting, but the ones I'm less sure about).
Anybody played any of these or have anything positive/negative to say? Should I pick them up, wait and see if I can get them when they're cheap, or just avoid them altogether?

Games: Shining Force Neo, Shining Tears, Stella Deus, Makai Kingdom, Suikoden IV, Radiata Stories, Atelier Iris

Also, if anybody has any recommendations on really good RPGs or strategy/RPGs for the PS2... surprised heart (Already getting/have Growlanser, Phantom Brave, FFX, FFX-2, SO3, La Pucelle, & the .hack series.)

Full Metal Alchemist and the Broken Angel: slightly bad, but I liked it.. and Kingdom Hearts?
PostPosted: Sat Dec 31, 2005 9:23 am

Yeah, I think Mala would really like Kingdom Hearts...

I'd also reccomend the two Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance games as well as X-Men Legends as far as RPGs go. Granted, they're action RPGS (but then so is KH)....

You also might like the two Dark Cloud games.

Not sure if it's good on the PS2, but Tales of Symphonia is an awesome RPG on the Gamecube (and is also available for the PS2 if memory serves me well).

I do have Kingdom Hearts, too. whee Forgot to list that one.

Baldur's Gate is a good idea... I have/love the original computer version. 3nodding

I've been thinking about the Dark Cloud ones, too. They look cute from the box art, at least.

Tsu - I dunno. When I looked for it, I could only find ToS for the Gamecube. crying But I didn't check every shop... I definitely want it from the talk that happened earlier in the thread.
