You know you're a band geek when you start to IM your band director.
I actually do that to a couple of the one's I've had. they seems to enjoy it and we trade wit with each other so it's fun!
You know you'ar a band nerd when:
...you hear the song "Lose my Breath" and can name who's cadence that actually is (yes it is an actual cadence, and yeah it might be kind of hard to know if you aren't from Michigan)
...the instrument that you call "baby" really is a pretty crappy excuse for an instrument
....on band shirts you spell out things with music notes like Bad a** with a B A D and A notes and then two quarter rests (old high school band is doing it this year and I helped figure that out
xp )
...you have kept all the music you've ever played in any band setting (if you get to keep it) have it arranged in the order you played it, by year, and have some stuff that you haven't ever played but it looked cool so you "borrowed" a copy of it.
...when the highlight of your summer is played two-four concerts a day for a week in july with 120+ other people (GO Mighigan Lions All-State Band!)
