Hmm...wouldn't you add the 6 to both numbers? I mean the base attack for taijutsu is 1-6, so plus 6 would be 7-12, not 1-12, right....? confused

No! You add your strength onto both numbers, but your taijutsu is only added onto the top number. I'll double check with Kouri to make sure that's right, because they've been doing a lot of remodling with the battlesystem.

Nazo landed in a patch of grass near where he heard sounds of others talking. He decided to ingore them and continued practicing the jutsu. He pulled out the scroll and it decribed the basics;

Henge no Jutsu (Transformation Technique)
The user utilizes the sheep hand seal or the tiger hand seal and concentrates their chakra to assume the appearance of another person, an animal, or even any object. This is one of the required basic jutsu taught at the Ninja Academy. Fundamentally, all ninjas know this technique.
Cp cost: 2 "+1 per minute the jutsu is mantained"
Damage: N/A
Requeriments: Learn in the Academy.
Training days: Accademy time. Chakra control check DC: 10

Nazo claped his hands together and formed a tiger seal and yelled "HENGE NO JUTSU"

((Let me kno if i passed or failed this cause im new))

AGH! Ok... I'm trying really hard to be nice...I'm one of the most hot headed mods so bear with me. There's a training exercise listed in the Academy for learning this technique. Take a look at the first page in the Academy and that'll help you out.

He struck the clone with the Open Palm Jutsu, sending it flying until it disappeared in a burst of water. It was almost sickening to watch as the body parts of the water clone were disfigured and then... liquified. Shinichi frowned and tried to think of what to do next. He was still full of energy and desperately wanted to surpass Aya-san, so why not learn the next jutsu Kusakage-sama had to teach. Looking over at her, he bowed and said, "Thank you for teaching me the Open Palm Jutsu." If only he hadn't wasted so much time in idiotic classroom, Shinichi might not have this problem of being a second-rate academy student.

Shinichi looked around him, trying to think of another jutsu to learn while he was still standing. The obvious seemed to be the Dodging Palm Jutsu, since that was the sequel to the Open Palm Jutsu. It would definitely be helpful to have both. Shinichi walked to the edge of the training area, watching the other students to figure out what to do. Now that he thought about it? Hadn't Kusakage-sama introduced him to an exercise when they were dodging those posts? He had learned the Open Palm Jutsu, so it should be much easier now.

Training Part I
Kusakage-sama has thrown a shuriken up in a tree. Its branches and shadows make the black metal hard to see. You have to keep your eyes on that shuriken while moving and turning. Practice spinning in place and keeping your eyes on the shuriken.

He surveyed the area, walking around to see where Kusakage-sama had placed the shuriken that might still be there from Aya-san's training. There! Shinichi initially spotted the weapon under the rafter of a nearby house. Alright, now what? He found the shuriken with his eyes, noticing that he had to occasionally refind it after blinking. This would be interesting. Shinichi spun in several small circles and tryed to spot the shuriken again.

Good, it was still there. Shinichi stomped on the ground and twirled back to his original position. That wasn't so hard, but how will the next some tries be? He took another look at the shuriken and somersaulted to the side, trying not to take his eyes off the weapon. It wasn't exactly a difficult tumble so Shinichi would have no trouble performing that part of the movement.

Shinichi bounded off to the side, tucking his head in and diving to the ground in a roll. He was able to see the shuriken for the first second or so, at least until his eyes were diverted towards the ground in order to stabilise himself. Darn it! Shinichi sat up, coughing from the layers of dust that now bloomed around him. What had he been thinking anyway? Aye, it was just better to stick to simple movements. He stood and whirled around twice, ending with a short slide, always trying to keep his eyes on that evasive shuriken.

His clad foot grinded against the dirt, but his eyes remained on the prize. He could only see a portion of the shuriken, but that was enough to know the entire thing was still there. Shinichi crouched and stared up at that piece of black metal. This exercise seemed to have several clear purposes, although he had no doubt that there were more methods in Kusakage-sama's madness. Both the training at the academy and now this all seemed to lead to the recognition of the beauty of a shuriken, so damaging and yet difficult to notice. Shinichi furrowed his brow, then tried the footwork for a spin and lunge.

Great! He pushed his arms forward as if wielding a sword and stabbed at thin air, still keeping his eyes on the shuriken. That wasn't too difficult, but Shinichi didn't know whether he would be able to use the simple footwork and the Palm Step in a real battle. No, all fights were real and had to be treated as if it involved life and death. Or pride. Shinichi leapt back to his original position, green eyes scanning the hidden shuriken. He attempted another somersault, telling himself that he would become much stronger if this succeeded.

Now that was much more difficult he thought as he almost lost sight of that shuriken. Shinichi had thought that he had failed once again until his eye caught the slightest flicker as sunlight bounced off the metal. He rolled forwards, landing in a standing position, the same dreary dust gathering in tiny clumps beneath his exposed feet. This level was nearly mastered and now he just had to concentrate on refining the step. Shinichi bent forwards in a low stance and rushed at the trees, trying to run as fast as he could while never taking his eyes off the shuriken.

Shinichi knew he almost had it, but it was the worst idea to let his guard down and become complacent right before success was in his grasp. He placed a foot on the side of the tree and pushed down as hard as he could, sending his body flying back to roughly his starting position. Now, what else was there to attempt? His mind scanned over the different sword stances and feetwork. None of them seemed to fit the situation and most could not be done without focussing one's eyes solely on the target. Well, there was that one. Shinichi ran forwards again, this time spinning around once, then dropping his body to the ground. Lastly, he took a huge sidestep to the left, quickly turning his head to see if he could still spot the shuriken.
