Vincent. V Ex-~ Dragon_Fear Aerith is more likely than Tifa or Yuffie. (I dont see how Yuffie could be. O.o)) I agree with the "Tifa looking up to Cloud as her big brother" kinda thing. ((Though, after watching Last Order, I got confused and thought maybe he liked Tifa before he met Aerith... X.x; )) And besides, isnt Cloud looking for Aerith or something in Kingdom hearts? He's not looking for Tifa...at least I dont think so. If you play Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix, I do believe that it is mentioned that Sephiroth is the light that Cloud searches for, but I could be wrong in that take of it. I'll have to check up on it. Then again, you do have to realise that Kingdom Hearts isn't good evidence to support CloudxAeris because they're placement in KH is non FF7-Storyline development, they were simply plucked out of FF7 and placed in KH and completely new characters, despite their past-game history. 3nodding nono actually its the opposite because sephy isnt cloud's light he is his darknesss In the cut scene, called the Showdown of Fate, Cloud describes Sephiroth as being his darkness. This is the conversation that follows: Cloud: "So we meet at last." Sephiroth: "I was searching for you too." Cloud: "As long as you exist, I can't wake from this nightmare." Cloud: "You are my darkness." Sephiroth: "If that's so, I shall draw you into the darkness." Sephiroth: "Into the nightmare that forever deprives you of light, from which you can never awaken." There is also another conversation in Final Mix that relates to Cloud. After you meet Cloud at the Coliseum, returning to Traverse Town and speaking with Aeris rewards you with this brief exchange: Aerith: "At the coliseum, is there a person with a big sword and pointy hair?" Sora: Yeah" Aerith: "...I wonder if he's still searching for him..." Aerith: "Hey, Sora." Aerith: "If you see him, tell him not to do anything rash." Aerith: "He's not a sociable person, but if something happens to him, there'll be other people besides me who'll be sad."

I believe it was meant to be Aeris, because that's what some of their products are based off of (Advent Children...) and you know... yeah.

.[.pink.spider.]. sanandreasaholic I think cloud was a playa. He liked all three. He liked Aries because she was all young and innocent (he should have seen her on Saturday nights smile ) He liked Tifa because she was married and off limits, and he liked Yuffie because she was dark and dangerous. In all, cloud was the ultimate mac-daddy actually aerith is older than cloud and tifa isnt married(where did u hear that?) and yuffie isnt exactly dark That made me giggle. Heehee Yuffie... dark... heehee... Tifa... married... And I doubt Cloud liked Aeris because she acted young...

.[.pink.spider.]. reasons why tifa and cloud arent in love *POSSIBLE SPOLIERS* Advent Children -Cloud's dying, but he doesn't seem to care about spending the time he has left with Tifa. Since most people want to spend the time they have left with the people they love, it doesn't seem that he loves her. - Cloud doesn't tell Tifa that he has Geostigma and doesn't tell her that he moved into the Church. Why is he hiding things from her if he loves her? - If Cloud's hiding things from Tifa, he apparently doesn't feel understood by her. - Cloud lets the answering machine pick up messages from Tifa instead of answering the phone. He seems unwilling to communicate with her, which doesn't show that he loves her. - Cloud chooses to talk to Aerith's spirit about his need for forgiveness instead of talking to Tifa about it, which shows that he feels better understood by Aerith and that he has greater trust in her. yeah! and besides, when aeris died, he was broken inside in advent children. the only thing he wanted was her forgiveness. look, he even slept in the church and not in tifa's tavern. besides, has anyone made cloud smile/laugh? once-in the movie because his friends understood he wanted to fight kadaj all by himself, so they left. second- aeris was able to make him laugh when they were escaping reno in the church in the game. it showed that there were changes in him when he met aeris. there's definitely a connection. 4laugh

it was obviously tifa because if he really was in love with aeris this she wouldnt have got killed(my favorite scene in the game)

Well obviousely Yuffie is out of the picture. I really lean towards Tifa, but that may be because I preferred her more than Aeris (solely because I knew she was gonna die AND her physical attacks were so weak I just wanted to stab someone..that and I always feel more partial to the Martial artists of the group >>..specially if its a girl who'll kick arse with minigame limit breaks to feed my attention span.). Aside from that, aeris really kinda didn't have much of a base relationship with him...I mean c'mon Zack was her emotional connection and right off the bat of introducing youself to someone you decide 'hmm...lets do on a date and you can be meh strong manleh man..((??))' I was put off by the sudden romance and took it more of lust than love. ( I also didn't like the way she treated Barret at the Golden Saucer..THAT killed all setimentality towards the character)..In anycase. Through out the whole story, they give conflicting options suggesting that Cloud COULD fancy Tifa or Aeris...or both even...The game suggests the change in Tifa's additude towards Cloud as well, in the beginning when at one convo. points out her growing concerns for him and yadayadayada.((also the booklet says she has a crush on him..soo....)) Still there was some air of attraction between Aeris and Cloud...but I cant help but feel as though Aeris seems to push it on him some what...also you can't leave out Cloud's and Tifa's little 'cuddle moment together' In Advent Children at the end Zack and Aeris are reunited and cloud doesn't seem to show any real lovey dovey emotions between them, he only feels her death as wel as the death of many others is his fault, and seeks forgiveness(( then that's where Aeris laughs and ask from who..)) *looks back and notices I pushed Tifa the whole time*...Man...I getting to feeling I'm way to close minded for this forum. >> In anycase...it's a battle between Aeris and Tifa, both of which could have an equal chance...I guess?
