*Looking down, Kalie felt a twinge of guilt. It was her fault, he had almost died.. had she found someway to overcome what Soulscour did or stoppped him in the first place, Torment wouldn't have given so much of himself to fend Soulscour off.. then heal her. He had stood a chance before, but as soon as he gave part of himself up to restore her.. he had lost the battle entirely.* "Aetas..?"

Tor lifted up Kalie's chin and turned her face to look into her eyes with a taciturn look, telling her it wasn't her fault. He glanced over to Vince with a worried look, "One can only hope. I'd still feel more comfortable if we had Cirino and at least some help from my father's immortal half."

*Darz quirks a brow towards Kargin. It's true he could feel the being had lost a great deal of power, but to admit it so openly...was strange. Darz certainly hadn't predicted it. It's about this time that Darz thinks about the past while. Darz, himself, has gained much power. His wife is pregnant, a joyous surprise, and he's mastered EternalSphere. His wings twitch as Vince speaks up. Ignoring him, for the moment, Darz looks at Kalie and Kargin. He believes he hears Kalie speak, but he can't make out what she said.*

So...we've gathered our champions and await intelligence upon our quarry. I only pray things go as well as we hope.

Torment looked away from Vince as he spoke, but he fully took in the words. He pulled away from Kalie and stepped in front of one of the rings at the far end of the room. It seemed ablaze as red light surged through it, "We enlist the supposed indestructable and call for aid from our allies above, literally." As he moved to step into the ring of blazing light the room seemed to shift to a bright electric blue as the walls themselves came alive with Torment's soul energy. The entire house around Vince seemed to lash out at him as the arcs of blue energy sought to tap into him as a power shunt. Torment seemed to be making motions as if he were speaking, but made no words. When he finally held out a coin that materialized for naught but a few milliseconds, he stepped from the ring and all the light in the room blinked out with one quick flash. He glanced at Kalie, not weakened much this time, "Lets hope, for once, the Pheonix and Viper don't kill one another."

*Quirking a brow at the name, Kalie stilled. She knew it.. even after so much time had passed, she knew who Torment had asked for help. Balling her hand into a fist, she prayed he knew what he was doing. Last she had seen both Viper and Torment in the same room.. they hadn't gotten along very well to say the least.*

*Sighing, she rubbed her temple, and glanced over all three faces.. knowing there would be more.* "I.. I'm going to take a walk.."

-Edit-*Not waiting for a reply, she began to turn, the blast scouring the room from wall to wall just as her face turned away from the other three occupants. Kalie in turn taking a dead run for the hall as the wave of heat rippled out from the center, the back lash of the entrance still encompassing her before she stumbled out into the hall.*

Vincent didn't care much about the rise in heat, he didn't even flinch. His sunglasses were pushed up all the way with his middle finger, covering his eyes. As far as he remembered he had had a bad run in with Jans and was fairly sure the other might remember him. Especially seeing as he was GPD. Or former, he couldn't quite tell as of yet. He glanced to Kalie, sighing and giving her a wave and a smile, before turning back to gaze at the three other males.

"Do you want my help or not? Pick up the damn gem and put it around your neck. I don't have all day you know."

Malazar doesn't answer your question, but his voice is issuing from the gem.

Vince watched quietly, not a word being said. He'd hate the fact of working with Kans, though he'd tolerate it. Vince sighed once more and lit a cigarette, taking a deep inhale as he put the pack in his back pocket.
