Both your bullets slam into the skeleton, sending up another shower of bone fragments. Cy goes in for another attack with the quarterstaff, still swinging it two handed.

Steven:The quarterstaff lands right on the dragon's shin, nearly shattering it.
+9 to damage if I didn't miss anything this time.
(I really need to check my spells more, shillelagh is a 2 size category jump, not one)
the extra dice are to replace my eronious d8 roll
The dragon lunges out with another claw, but Cy jumps out of the way.

Zaku: You see that nobody seems to be bothering helping the sick people, in fact some of the town guards are harassing them! As you walk towards the castle, you notice that the houses become nicer and the population becomes almost entirely human. The castle itself sits atop a large hill so that teh king can look down on his villagers. It has a deep moat full of brownish sludge with a drawbridge across it.

Great, that's all we need a skeleton that can be older then this town itself. Two more stones fly out towards the skeleton.

Well then I guess we have an idea of what built this city then.

"I suppose we do," Cy says pensively, "but how? I know that dragons wouldn't build a city like this, except maybe a few if they were paid enough. The mass extinction will probably be explained by this too."

Cy swings for another attack, going for the kneecap now.

The blow lands, sending spiderweb cracks throughout the kneecap, and the dragon appears to tip a bit.

After regaining its balance, the skeleton throws another claw at Cy to attack and finally blasts through his defenses.
