"You can take the surfboard and put them over your heads if you think it will work." Hula bob told him as he put the others away. No need leaving them out in the rain.

Tiki Jim looked down. "Oh, no I didn't. I was just getting to the shore. What did you do?" Tiki JIm asked as he lifted the board over their heads. "Thanks Hula Grandaddy!"

Waikiki KiKi giggled. "Me too!" She had done something too, though if they didn't see Keanu there was no way they saw her either.

"Oh, it was so awesome!" Waikiki Keanu told parents, scooting under the shelter of the board. "I was thinking about going to shore and all of a sudden I was there. All I did was clap, like this--" As he was about to clap, Reira's eyes grew wide and reached down to clasp one of his hands as they walked. "Aww, Mom..." he whined, but continued. "Kiki did something cool, too! There was a little wave, and it looked like a bird! Tell them about it!"

"Thank you!" Reira called back to Hula Bob with a wave. "That's very neat," she told Keanu. "But be careful when you do that. You don't want to get lost, okay?" Honestly, her son's power worried her just a bit, but she hoped he would understand when and how it was okay to use it. She nodded and turned her attention to Waikiki Kiki to hear about what she did.

((Shall we start a new RP soon, since they're heading away from here? ))

((Sure.))

"Aloha!" Hula Bob waved then sat in his hammock under the palms. He didn't really want to go in just yet. He would have to turn down anyone who came until the rain had stopped. Plus, how long could it last?

Waikiki KiKi giggled. "Yes, I was thinking of Great Hula Grandaddy's bird and then the wave looked like it. It was neat." Kiki explained with a smiled as she walked along.

Tiki Jim nodded. "Ah, I see you two have gotten your powers. Use them wisely." He told them as they made it home. The rain had come at a bad time as he could have surfed longer.

((The rain is over so the surf lessons are open again! Woot!))

Hula Bob walked out from under his palm trees. "Dude, that was alot of rain. Total bummer...unless you're a plant." Hula Bob put out the surf boards once again in case someone wanted to learn.

Trager tossed her brown hair out of her face as she followed behind Azure. Her arms were crossed in front of her and her eyes glared at the dark blue, almost black, feet that walked in front of her. Trager's own pink feet speckled with bits of black stomped as she walked forward sending sand flying all over the place as she walked down the sandy stretch towards the water. The water... of all the places Azure had to drag her to. She was not happy with this journey she had been dragged on. "Why are you taking me to the beach? I hate water." Trager told Azure in protest as they walked closer towards the beach.

Azure had been walking to the beach with an extra spring in his step. He had been wanting to come here to learn how to surf for such a long time, but had never gotten to it. It was a shame really that he had waited so long, and he hoped it wasn't too late for him to learn anything that the instructor would be teaching him. Azure looked back at Trager as she protested, "Because I want to learn how to surf and I don't want to leave you home alone." he replied. Sure, his answer was kind of selfish especially for Azure, but summer was over and he wanted to learn how to surf before the water was to frigid to get into. "You don't have to go into the water, you can stay on the beach and not talk to boys." He knew this would get even more protest from Trager, but he had become even more protective of her since she had gotten older.

Hula Bob saw two teens heading up the beach. He smiled and waved to them. "Aloha and welcome to my surf lessons. I'm Hula Bob. One or both of you want lessons?" He needed to know how many boards to get out.

Tiki Jim sat on the beach with Waikiki KiKi. They had wondered off alone for a bit and of course found themselves there. Tiki Jim looked up and waved to the new people.

Waikiki KiKi was building a sand castle next to her daddy. Sure, she could be playing with the waves, but she didn't feel like it at the moment.

Azure glanced at the look of disgust written on Trager's face. He had no idea why she hated water so much, but it seemed she had always been that way. "Ha, it'll just be me." Azure gave a friendly wave and smile and began to walk towards Hula Bob. "Trager, stay close to where I'm surfing... or not surfing... and don't talk to any boys." Azure restated the fact that she wasn't to talk to any boys just to brand it into her mind a little further. "Its not too late for me to learn how to surf is it?" Azure asked, hoping that he wouldn't say yes.

Trager rolled her eyes and had already started to walk away from Azure to find a little plot on the high sands. Away from the water, that was the only place that Trager wanted to be, yet Azure felt it fit to drag her along. "Whatever... I'm not a child, you don't have to treat me like one." Trager looked around the shore. Boys, boys, boys... she figured she'd be lucky to find one that wasn't in the water. Her brown eyes lit up when they stumbled on Tiki Jim. She wasn't all that interested in him, but she knew that Azure wouldn't like her talking to him so she went in that direction.

Hula Bob nodded and got out a board for the teen. "Alrigh, here is your board. Shaw, of course it's not. It's never too late!" He chuckled and then stood by his own board. "First you must address your board. Tell it your name. So, they both will understand each other." Hula Bob began with his lessons.

Tiki Jim saw the teen and smiled. "Aloha. I'm Tiki Jim and this is my daughter Waikiki KiKi. So, you don't want to surf? Well, that's okay." Tiki Jim was in Hula Bob's family. Surfing came natural to them, but he knew others weren't the same.

Waikik KiKi smiled as she looked up at the teen. "You are very pretty." She told her as she built a bit more onto her castle.

Azure looked at the board that Hula Bob had pulled out for him, it looked nice and he couldn't wait to start riding it. Azure had to restrain laughing at the funny way that Hula Bob talked, it was different from the language and accent that other pae used. "Uhm hi... I'm Azure." he told the board. Azure found it odd and kind of hard to be talking to an inanimate object like that, but he wanted to learn how to surf and it appeared this was how it was done.

Trager shook her head violently. "No thank you." Trager spoke when her head finally stopped moving. "I've never liked water." Waikiki Kiki's name was sure a mouthful to say and she didn't want to sound mean by only saying one of their names so she deceided not to bother with names. "Hi, I'm Trager." she introduced herself as she bent her knees down ino the sand. Trager smiled, "Thanks!" she said enthusiastically, no one had ever told her she was pretty, she had always asked them if they thought she was and they'd usually agree. "You're pretty too." It was hard for Trager to say, not because Waikiki Kiki wasn't pretty but because Trager wasn't used to complementing others.

"Very good dude, very good. Now you stand on the board. It's always awesome to learn on land first." Hula bob stepped onto his board. "It's all in the hips." He began to move his hips from side to side with his arms in the air. "Now you try."

"I dont' think everyone does. It just runs in our family." Tiki Jim told her. "Nice to meet you." He smiled and nodded.

"Though, water can be fun." Waikiki KiKi looked to the water and a small wave became the shape of a heart. "Oh, thanks! Want to make castles too?"

Azure wouldn't admit it, but he was a little disappointed. He had been hoping to be able to get into the water right away. He was able to understand though that there was a right way to learning this and he knew it was best to follow Hula Bob's lead. Azure lifted his left foot onto the board followed by his right foot and he stood up. "Alright, easy enough." Azure said as he tried to mimic Hula Bob's movements. Unfortunatly it was easier said then done. It took Azure quite awhile to get his hip in a rhythm that was smooth and even longer to coordinate his arms with it.

Trager hadn't realized that these two were related to Azure's surfing coach. "So he's your dad?" Trager asked Tiki Jim as she pointed to the man swiveling his hips in a funny manner. She giggled at Azure's failed attempts, she'd probably be better at surfing then him, but she wasn't abot to try it. "Sure." Trager replied to Waikiki Kiki, it wasn't like she had anything better to do since she was stuck on the beach until Azure was done. "I don't usually come to the beach, can you help me make a sand castle?" It was probably the most humble thing Trager had ever said or thought.

Hula Bob walked over to Azure. He looked at him with a smile. "Very good dude. Are you ready for water? Shallow first." Hula Bob took his board and put it in the shallow water. "Just do what you were doing on land." Which he then showed.

"Well, no. He is my Hula Grandaddy or grandpa." He waned to make sure she understood the tream of affection that he used. Hula Daddy, Hula Grandaddy and now Great Hula Grandaddy. What would they call him when Waikiki KiKi or Keanu had kids? That wasn't coming soon, though.

Waikik KiKi smiled. "Oh, it's pretty easy." She got up and went to the lake. She filled a pale with water and then ran back. "You wet the sand and then it makes shapes. You can use the pale if you want." She then showed Trager by went some sand and useing it to make a tower.

"I guess so." Azure replied as he jumped off the board. He hadn't thought he had all his limbs coordinated tohether well enough, but it seemed Hula Bob thought Azure was ready and he was the teacher. Azure felt that answer had lacked confidence so he added more. "Alright, I'm ready." Azure told Hula Bob with a quick nod of his head before he bent down and picked up the board and held it just as Hula Bob had.

"Granddaddy?" Trager hadn't ever heard that term before, she assumed it must've been a bigger limb off the family tree. "Wow, sounds like you have a really big family." Trager told Tiki Jim as Waikiki Kiki went to get some water. "Alright, I'll try my best." Trager poured some water into the sand and then tried to mold it into something. Water wasn't so bad this way when it wasn't as cold and wet. Trager's 'tower' was a lump of sand with windows in it, not very good.

"Alright, dude then give it a go." Hula Bob got off his board to watch. He wanted to make sure the boy was safe and didn't hurt himself if he did happen to fall in. That was why shallow water was always the starting point.

Tiki Jim laughed. "Yeah, we are a pretty big family. I think there is a even bigger one then ours, too." It was hard to belive, but it was true. Jazz's sons were part of a big family. Though, they didn't know them much.

Waikiki KiKi giggled and clapped. "I think that is very good. Next time maybe less water. Or maybe you can use the pale as a mold." Kiki then showed what she ment. It made a better tower, but it wasn't as creative in KiKi's mind.
