Odessa couldn't help but frown, she hadn't wanted Kara to feel like she had to leave, but there was a small part of her that was thankful to have some time alone with Lazarus. "Well.. I can definitely see a reason why they like you..." She said quietly to herself, hoping he hadn't heard her. "Maybe you're just that good with animals?" She gave a small smile. She hoped this wouldn't be too awkward, then again, she was always awkward and she was sure being alone with him wouldn't make it any easier. "I've never had too much luck getting familars during these events myself.."
Pandora couldn't help but find the girl's hesitation endearing. She smiled, glad that her little gift was enough to help ease any sort of tension there might have been between them. "Nah" She waved her hand in dismissal. "No need to get me anything. I'm just happy to finally meet such a cool little freshling! Besides, today is about you, not me." Her eyes gave a little wink and she stood back to her full height, snapping the locks on her case and hefting the large thing over her shoulder.
At the question, Pandora leaned down again, letting the flitterat climb down her shoulder to examine the little girl. "Sure. He definitely loves the attention." The little rat sniffed the freshling again before gently climbing on the opposite shoulder. "Oh, that's cool! What a rad little nezubat! It's nice to meet you, Flik. Hopefully you and Shim can be friends." Pandora turned to pull a small little satchel out of her pocket. She pulled the ribbon to reveal a small amount of apple. She offered it to the nezubat only to get a chittering response from Shim. She couldn't help but laugh. "I'd take it quickly before Shim decides that sharing isn't a possibility." She then took a small piece and gave it to Shim to keep him complacent.

As he extended his hands to bring the plushie closer to the other boy, he nodded. "The season is about giving gifts to people, yeah? So I figured I should at least partake in the tradition. My name is Sarren, by the way.." He blinked slowly when he saw the other coatl, his head did a shake. "Not mine, I only have the one. It's a cutie though!" He smiled happily, glad the other boy had been able to get his own familiar.

As she pulled out the sweets, he felt his lips turn into a slight smirk. "Oh, my lady, you are truly wonderful to think of own well being, but surely I could never partake of such a divine snack unless the beautiful lady should choose to eat them with me!" He was lowering himself into a bow still, his eyes not leaving the ground. He couldn't help but feel slightly amused that she had decided to play this game with him, not everyone could roll with it as easily as she had. "And for being so truly amazing to think of me, I have another gift for you! Please take it as a token of my gratitude!" He pulled up yet another plushie, offering it to her. He would win this, dammit, even if he had to play dirty.

Atoris slightly frowned when he heard the uncertainty in her voice. To most people he was sure she sounded completely confident, but he knew her and he could tell when something was bothering her. Had he hit a nerve when he asked the question? Gently squeezing her hand, he nodded, "Yeah! They'll be really nice! Maybe they'll even give us treats!" He decided that even if she couldn't be confident about it, he would. She always seemed to glow a little more when he was confident, maybe it helped her somehow?
When she won a plushie, he couldn't help but grin, "Yeah! Way to go Maggie!" He bounced a little, wanting to try his own hand at the game. The first try around he fell pretty short, but he really wasn't all that surprised, he was never all that good at games. He drew in a large breath, "I wanna try again." He gave the attendant a look and then threw the bean bag again. It skid across the surface before landing in the Grand Prize section and stopping. "Oh wow! I won! Look Maggie! I won!" He danced happily as the attendant picked up a vespercat and handed it to him. "Oohhhh! It's so cute! I love it!" He gave the cat a huge hug.
Ahhh, Akylan definitely seemed to be working really hard to win this little competition of their's. It was really adorable and she had a feeling they could both honestly keep this up forever. And while she did really care about about Akylan, he was a great dance partner, she did have other friends she needed to be finding gifts for this Holiday!
"I concede my good Knight, you are far to kind to this Lady." She gave low sweeping bow herself and then stood back up, holding out her arm for the Fey to take. "How about I let you escort me for the day though? It would be my honor to enjoy the day with you." While the gift-giving was over for them, they could still enjoy the festival together! She didn't even notice when the blue fluffbug came over to settle on top of her head.
Caram smiled not sure what she meant by a Trixie was another size. "You size is just fine" he laughed "Of course I'm sure, I would have asked if I didn't mean it, how about a picnic by a lake or river??" He asked hoping that would make her feel more comfortable being near water, Caram didn't know how to swim, so suggesting swimming wasn't in the cards unless he could find someone to teach him how to swim. "How about we go play one of the games and I'll see if I can win a plushie for you?? What would you like to play??"
"No, not really, I just arri--" He stopped talking as Shard was nailed, and then felt the oh so familiar stinging sensation of being hit in the back of the head with a plushie himself. He grabbed it - another flitterat, great, and then stuffed it under his arm. "Yeah okay, this is ridiculous, lets move some where less... open." He narrowed his eyes as he looked around, markings intermittently lighting up with an irritated light.
"If one of those things takes a liking I'll give it to you. I have too many fliterrats to keep a snake around." Knowing his rats, they'd get curious and try to get into its cage... then wind up eaten. Eugh.

Kaname watched as Piper pet the coatl, it seemed very pleased with the attention, though eventually moved away so that it could slither up their leg and then settle around their waist, like a belt. "Ah..." The patted it awkwardly... would zizi even let them keep it...? They hoped so. It seemed nice. Oh... they finally noticed the little heart bracelet that seemed to be stuck on it. Huh!
At the introduction, they smiled widely. "It's v-very nice to me--et you, Piper...! And n--no, I'm not here with anyone. I'd l---love to ha--hang out...!" Again, they stifled a small cough behind a hand, but nodded their head enthusiastically. "U-um, I'm not con--contagious-- uh... I just h--have bad lungs...!" A few people had already seemed concerned that they were coughing... but they really weren't going to get people sick!

"Sounds perfectly sensible," Topaz said, smiling as she tucked her arm through Narra's. The offer of a pink rose surprised her. She took it with her free hand and brought it to her face, giving it a delicate sniff. It had a lovely aroma! "That is one of the meanings, yes," she said, looking over the rose at Narra. "I'm not an expert in flower meanings, though, so I think it's mostly the intent of the giver." She suddenly grinned and winked. "Now if you'd given me a red rose, I would have thought you were flirting," she teased.
As they walked outside there seemed to be an unusual level of chaos. Several boxes were stacked by the door, with many more open as festival workers went through them. "What's this," Topaz asked curiously, gently pulling Narra with her as she went to look. "Oh, they're plushies! They must have gotten here late, they're all different styles from the ones already floating around."
She reached in the crate and pulled out an adorable seal pup plushie, turning to show Narra. "It's kind of cute! And it's fluffy enough that you could probably use it as a pillow!"
