Kayin narrowed her eyes at Alek before setting down what she was carrying. "Have you been listening to gossip in town or something?" she asked before huffing a bit. "Why would I think healing is stupid? If I thought that I would have been much more inclined to just gallop off into the battlefield. Is it something I want to pursue myself, well no, but that doesn't make it any less of a viable path to take. Without healers there would be a lot less people around. They're just as valuable as any warrior." She stopped herself and took a breath to stop herself from going on a verbal tirade. Alek probably already knew the usefulness of healers.

"Anyway, what I am trying to get at is I honestly will support anything you want to pursue and achieve. I'd just rather be kept in the loop is all." She then laughed a little. "And it's nice to know that when I inevitably shank myself with a sword that you'll be able to do something about it."

Jacinthus Post 12

Jacinthus continued to dance around the Alkidike women as they took swings and shots at him, doing his best to keep ahead of him. It seemed as though their side was, slowly but surely, overtaking the extremists. It was something that pleased him, making him want nothing more then to get this finished up. Once they were all dealt with then he would see about gathering his family together, make sure that everyone was safe, before they headed home. He wanted to get back to normal life, back to using his bow for hunting and feeding his family, not having to fight over things he thought were foolish.

"Not long now." He murmured, half to himself and half to Takoda, as he drew an arrow from his quiver, notched it, and fired toward the Alkidike once more. They were close, but that didn't mean that they could get sloppy. No, they had to push forward, just in case the other leaders of the extremists came into the battle as well. There was also the chance that they had something laying in wait out there, so Jacinthus wasn't about to let his guard down, not until things were decisively finished.

Rishima Post 15

Rishima gave a bit of a smile when Chalcedony seemed to shift his tactics at least a bit to instead try to take out the leader he was tussling with through means of bashing her instead of using the dangerous spikes his shield was covered in. It wasn't going to feel pleasant for the woman but at least there was a chance that she might be knocked out instead of killed? At least unless someone else who was taking shots at her wasn't as willing to hold back.

Turning his attention to his sisters who were attacking him Rishima slid from side to side, expertly dodging the blows, before taking a few more swings at them with the butt end of his spear. Even if they hated him for it, even if they saw it as a blow to their honor, he'd save as many of them as he could by knocking them out instead of killing them. It was all he could do at this point since his attempts at a peaceful solution had failed so completely. His sisters had come here looking for a fight and perhaps a few blows to their ego might lessen it a little and allow them a chance at trying to talk once more. At least once they came to.

Saraf gave Kalli a glance as she released her hold on him, watching for a moment as she ran back toward the healer's tents. He blinked a couple times, then shrugged and turned back to what he was doing. It was probably best that she went back there he thought to himself. He was a bit on the beat up side and he didn't want his injuries to make him incapable of protecting the girl. Turning back to the battle he shifted his stance, taking a few swings at the Alkidike women. The problem being that they were more plentiful around him then he'd first though, one of them catching him on his bad side, "Bah! Damn it!" He muttered before giving a string of colorful Oban curses under his breath.

Shaking off the blows, despite the fact that he was hurting now, he continued to keep up the fight, taking a few more swings here and there. He wasn't about to let up, not now, not when it looked as though they were starting to finally pull ahead. He gave his fellow Obans a glance, checking on their conditions, before turning back once more, taking a few more swings here and there. They seemed to be taking some hits, but they were still alive, praise be to Jonal.

They were there, and then they were gone. Ilyra scowled and let an arrow loose in the direction of one of the extremest leaders. This was getting annoying and long. How many more would fall before the extremist lost?

Gah! It was the first big hit Ichil had taken, and from one of the leaders no less! Blood began to gush from her nose and she gave a surprised shout. It was an odd sort of pain, something she hadn't been privy to before, but at the moment it only served to anger her further and she struck out with the arrow she had been loading, giving the Alkidike a good jab.

It was like breaking a wild beast. It was a constant dance between participants and Sebastien found himself feinting to try and avoid myriad attacks. It was some Alkidike behind him that hit him; he felt the sting of a blade. He wheeled around and struck out, not knowing it was a Leader he struck out against, and missed as he tried to dodge an archer.
