I'm quite excited too, really looking forward to seeing everyone's entries. (It's actually already the 4th where I live, but I suppose it won't come up until after the sun's come up too)

I think I'm addicted to this event....I've spent all my gold fighting Mecha Bunny. Oh, Gods.

Yep. It's quite the read. I, however, have read through all of them and know which ones I will be very upset over if they lost. There aren't any Fighting-types, though, which is kind of upsetting. Fighting gets no love this time around.

I have nothing to say for the ones I ranked 25/25. I liked them. What is there to say? Also, I did read the criteria. Some entries are lacking in some departments, but that doesn't mean they're horrible.

I'm satisfied with how I set mine up. If that's a problem, fine.

Well what do you like about them? I'm not asking for criticism or for you to change your amswers, just an explaination. c: Even if it's something quick like what Lucifer did saying you liked everything about it, though specifics would be nice too, it's so that people know what other people like about their entries for future reference. Also the comment about looking over criteria wasn't for you, that was more of a friendly reminder to Sonic and SD.



I'm sorry x3 I know it's a lot to read, but the way that the winners will be determined is by adding up all the points that people give each entry and seeing which ends up with the most points. If you pick and choose, then everything will be uneven. I made the scorecard so that every entry is scored individually and rated based on a set standard, i.e. the different categories that were listed.

If we just put everything up on a poll, people would more than likely pick pokemon based on personal bias because they like the look or would like to have the pokemon themselves, and while that can still leak into this system, with the comments and critiques requirement it helps people really think about ranking the Fakemon based on the principles that they should be based on for becoming a pokemon in this guild, such as its cohesiveness in the pokemon world and how developed the pokemon and its movesets are. It just helps make things more fair~ If people picked and chose only a handful of their favorite entries, it would be too much like a poll and nullify the point of this grading system.


This is the reason why the judging round will take two to three weeks, it gives people time to read through the entries and really make sure they think out their critiques. c:



Yes, it is expected and one of the requirements I listed for this contest because constructive critisism helps people learn and grow, it is also because people want to know why they are given a low score, because naturally everyone thinks their entry is great, so when someone else doesn't share their opinion, they usually want to know why. However, if you feel that you cannot make constructive criticisms then I will not force you to write any full length critisism. The friendly community of the guild is far more important to me than one person's commentary. However, I must ask that you at least make really brief comments like "the backstory needs work" or "too powerful" just, SOME sort of short indication, otherwise I simply cannot count your votes into the total score.

Fine, whatever....Happy? I don't really care if my comments are worth much, though, so I put no effort into them whatsoever.

@ _ @ I don't know what's gonna be harder for me... Putting my comments/criticisms into words without making them sound too happy/harsh, or trying to stay impersonal due to knowing who made three of the entries and having a good guess on who made a fourth.
