Even while mechanically scrubbing away at the morning dish mess, Caelen had sensed the lives of those moving around within a mile of the manor. Two signatures in particular began to move ever closer toward the manor. One felt slightly similar the the girl Seren's aura, the other was unknown to him. The closer the two soul auras came, the stronger they got. As soon as they both passed through the gates of the manor, Caelen finished rinsing a plate. Quickly drying off his hands, the butler exited the kitchen without a word to Lunette who was still eating, and began heading toward the front doors. Cae had nearly made it to the front door when he heard a cry for help. Whipping around to face the foyer, he saw Charm furiously flapping her tiny wings in an effort to move as quickly as possible. The expression on the little imp's face concerned Caelen.

What is is Charm? What's wrong? Caelen asked, a bit rattled by the imp's obvious distress.

Panting slightly, charm flapped up to Caelen and spoke in a rush.

"It's Alice! She lying sprawled in the hallway on second floor! I think something's wrong with her!"

Alice... Cae whispered the girl's name, worried all over again.

Come with me, Charm. Caelen said flatly and took off for the second floor of the manor.

Sure enough, it was just as Charm had said. Alice lay prone on the hallway floor. A cold shiver passed through Caelen as he saw Alice lying there like the dead. He walked over to where his dear friend lay, kneeling down to examine her. Her pulse was weak, her pupils unresponsive, just as they had been the first time he had found her lying unconscious near the kitchen four months ago. He was grieving all over again. Caelen's head bowed in pain.

Not this....not again. Alice, what is happening to you? he uttered in a soft, strained voice.

Reverently, the butler scooped Alice up in his arms and carried her off to her room, Charm following in Caelen's wake. Cae used his power to open the door to Alice's room since his hands were full and carried Alice over to her bed where he carefully laid her down on top of the comforter. Cae gently brushed a lock of Alice's brunette hair out of her pale face and gazed at her mournfully. Charm floated next to Cae, worried. He could sense the imp next to him, feel her agitation.

I don't know why this happens, but this isn't the first time. She's been in a coma before. In fact, just yesterday evening she woke up from a four month coma from which none of us could wake her. Only Chef, Cel and I knew about it. We didn't want to worry the others. I had to let Aylin know, though. Now you know as well. I still don't have any idea what causes it. Chef may have answers...or he may not. He may be Alice's spirit twin, but she doesn't even tell him everything. Caelen explained silently as if his words would wake Alice's unconscious form.

He hated to see his dear friend like this. Even more, he hated not knowing what caused her condition. It was just like Cel. He wanted so badly to help both of them, but was powerless. Shaking his head in frustration, Caelen leaned down and softly kissed Alice's forehead.

Sleep well.....my little doll.Caelen whispered before he and Charm left the room, silently shutting the door.

Out in the hall, Caelen sighed heavily and gazed at Charm for a minute before saying I need to let Chef know. Let's go.

The pair made their way back down to the ground floor in silence, and the silence continued as they entered the kitchen and then made their way down to the wine cellar. Caelen was in no mood for lengthy chatter, so he kept his statements succinct.

We are about to have two more people join us. Seren, one feels similar to your in aura. It may be the person you were trying to contact last night. I'm not sure who the other one is. We should greet them.

Caelen then walked over to Chef and whispered in his ear You need to go to Alice. I'm afraid she's gone unconscious again. I left her up in her room.

Pulling back from his whispered message, Caelen looked at Chef. The pain and concern in Chef's eyes at hearing this news reflected Caelen's own feelings.

Charm had meant to not bump into anyone and she almost hadn't noticed the girl on the ground. The girl with the soft brown locks and the large pretty green eyes, who she had seen Caelen pick up and spin about just the night before. She didn't like this. This girl lifeless on the ground, she instantly went to find Caelen, who had swiftly collected Alice and tenderly placed her in the girl's room. Charm hadn't asked but Caelen had provided something of an explanation about the girl's comatose state. It didn't matter, she really didn't like this.

Apparently they were in for more guests, and upon entering the cellar Caelen summoned the occupants to address the soon to arrive. Charm also noticed Caelen approach the man called Chef, and saw the same pain reflect back on the face of the leading resident of the manor. Everyone shuffled out of the cellar where they had talked with Zephyros and he had to go and bring up her banishment. Even though it really had been expected, she was shocked how deep it cut. Se was already blaming herself for not keeping a closer eye on Hydro, but Charm didn't want to admit that the girl's kindness and familiar hue of hair made it difficult. She wasn't especially angry with the old dragon, but was ever so surprised with Alyin had stuck up for her, considering Charm had snapped at her and her companion. Alyin, who seemed extraordinarily agitated at the moment. As Charm floated after the group she was having difficulty seeing clearly, and she couldn't entirely blame it on making a ton of pancakes.

She was shaking too much and she let the group go ahead of her. She really didn't like this. She knew before she was close that breaking point, where every thing was going to overwhelm her. She didn't think she could hold it back and when she saw Alice it triggered that memory. The one crept into her dreams and wouldn't let loose of a hold on her.

She flew through the mansion, desperately hoping no one was paying attention to her. She needed something, anything really, to jog her mind. She didn't like this. The recall of unconsciousness now mixed too well with wound and blood and pain burning her eyes. She half-accidentally wandered into a currently empty room. She saw pretty things, soft tapestry and fabrics, shiny stones and a lush comfortable looking bed with velvet pillows. She tried to focus on those things, how Hydro would've liked some of the interesting things in here. The girl's whose sweet voice and face and smile was clouded behind a mask and it all blended too well behind misery in Charm's mind. A kindness lost and she pulled all the blame. Yet again.

She really didn't like this, this feeling that choked her breaths and spilled out her eyes. She wrapped her tail around one of the pretty pillows and sobbed into it, hoping to muffle her breakdown and to keep everyone from hearing her say the name of the one she worried most for in the world. He who she didn't even know if lived or died or if she'd ever see again at all.

Kai watched with visible worry on his face as Aylin continued to swear softly under her breath and pace back and forth in the cellar. The shock of the news still hung in the air as a million different scenarios ran through Aylin's head. With Caelen temporarily gone with Cel Aylin was going to be the one to answer any question about what lay ahead of them. It appeared with the message given my Zephyros Aylin was now the one with all the answers about what they were dealing with. Letting out a soft sigh Kai got straight to the point asking what he thought everyone else was wondering about.

“Aylin, what do we do now? You know you and the girls can't very well leave the manor grounds because of those doubles waiting on the other side of the walls. There's no way you'll be able to head back to your family right now,” Kai voiced gaining the overly worried pixie's attention.

Aylin stopped pacing around letting out a worried sigh and turned to face the gray cat. "I know I'm going to have to find a way to get a message out to the GCA headquarters back on the island and I'll have to talk to the branch office here and get a hold of Maggie so somehow I can get a message to my family back home. But I guess the most important thing is we try and find a way to be able to leave this place. We're going to have to start training the girls in the basics of self defense in hopes it will help trigger what it is that brings about that first transformation while continuing with Prim's lessons," Aylin responded just before Caelen came back into the cellar.

The moment Aylin heard that two new people were coming to the manor and one of them felt, to Caelen, very similar to Seren's magic her head immediately turned to face Seren. The concerns about how to get word to her family about the staff being in danger were immediately put on hold as what to do about Seren became the most important and immediate concern as Aylin began to feel very strong light magic heading towards the manor. If a family member was coming to the manor to check up on the teenager then Aylin wanted to be there as well to help explain the situation to the person who was able to make decisions on her behalf. Even if the girl was to be taken home Aylin still wanted her to learn and train with the others because they needed to be able to work together as a group. Whomever it was that was heading towards the manor was going to need a lot of convincing to let Seren train under her, Caelen, and the capable members of the BFAA. Most importantly, she wanted them to know that Seren was welcome at the manor and could consider the place a safe haven any time she needed one.

“Seren, I'd like to go with you to greet your relative. I know you're eager to get home but I'd still like to let them know this is a safe place for you and that I would like it if you could train and learn from us," Aylin said to the teen as she picked up Kai before heading towards the wine cellar stairs, "Caelen, when you do have a moment I think I'm going to be needing a proper pot of tea in the game room. This could take a while."

Seren was so busy thinking about things that she just caught Aylin saying her relative was here for her, walking with her towards the front of the mansion she spoke up Ah Granny Mika got here faster then I thought she would,.....um Miss Aylin? She began to ask shyly I would like to stay here, I'm still not sure about all this powers stuff, but Lunette is my friend and Prim is one too I want to help them even if this doesn't work out, but my Granny and the rest of my family I don't want them to find about this, I don't want to worry them. Do have any idea's about how I can stay with out telling them anything?

Stopping she felt and heard something familiar Turning back a bit she came upon, a friend of her granddaughter Aureate. Noticing the clearly guilty look on her face and guessing what it was about she called out to her. Don't look so guilty my dear this here is a place that welcome's all us Baritones with open arm's, but if your still concerned come with me, Seren is here I'm sure she will happy to see you. This meeting could become advantageous for her, she had no need to for Seren to hear things that she suspected were going to go down with all these powers here and Aureate could provide a welcome distraction.

The Place: The servant's hall between the wine cellar and the front hallway Barton Manor interior.

The time: Just before 9 am Day 3.

Aylin stopped short of the front hall seeing the obvious concern on the face of the high school girl. She was worried about what was going to happen to the friends she had made since the battle for the soul of Barton and the world itself began. It was the same look of concern her grandniece Jen would get whenever a close friend was in any kind of trouble. Seren was worried about what the others might say if she did have to leave and what her grandmother would say if she found out about about the light magic and possibly being another reawakened Senshi. It was obvious to the pixie that Seren didn't know her grandmother carried the same type of light magic within her. And while Caelen could sense auras, Aylin could feel magic and the stronger it was the easier it was to feel it as it approached the manor. Seren's Granny Mika was going to be a very tough person to crack.

Reaching up Aylin barely placed a hand on the taller teen's shoulder for comfort as she looked up into her eyes. "Don't worry, we'll figure out a way to get you to stay here without telling your grandmother about your possible magic," Aylin began, telling Seren a half truth, "I'm sure once she understands how unsafe it is for you to be outside the walls of this manor right now and how capable the Bartobs are in their ability to watch over and protect you she'll let you stay. Right now this really is the safest place for you girls."

Kai, feeling the need to back up Aylin's skills in negotiating, chimed in, “Hey if anyone can convince your Granny Mika to let you stay here it's Aylin. She's very good at getting people to agree with her. You'll see, your granny will not only agree with her that this is the best place for you but think it was her idea in the first place."

Maybe Kai was right and maybe he was wrong. That didn't matter to him at that moment. The only thing that mattered at that point was that Seren believed in Aylin and that she would be able to convince her grandmother to let the taller teen stay with her in the manor.

"I think we'd better get ourselves to the front hall so we can give your granny a proper greeting," Aylin then added as she gently directed Seren on which way they were heading.

Slowly feeling a warmth resonate in his entirety Leif fell out of the tree with a thud on to his back before groaning and waking up with a major headache and an cosmos burning behind both eyes as he simply went. " uuugghhhhnnrr , did anyone get the number of that pan that hit me up the back of the head? , everything's green, soft , kind of a dewy smell . . . aaannd i out side? oh god im outside. okay!? Okay!? where am i. what day is this even. and where were is Oscar. Struggling to get back to his knees and feeling a lot of pain as he paced frantically around the grass unintentionally emitting energy as Leif strode back in to the manor trying to piece his last memories through the myriad of days long past.

Hesitantly peeking around the corner Leif saw a few faces before retreating behind the wall and panicked for a moment. Struggling to keep calm and figure out what to do Leif slid down until his butt touched the floor as a wing stuck out shyly around the frame.

Terra remained still and silent, pondering Zephyros' response to her. While he didn't exactly confirm anything or directly answer most of her questions, he gave Terra enough to start drawing conclusions. Zephyros said himself that Terra's topaz pendant seemed familiar, and that he associated it with a hammer. He dealt with the senshi of the past firsthand, so he was more than capable of sensing their auras. It was more than enough to convince Terra that she saw her past self in her dreams. So that just left one question. "Wind sword... twin? What the heck does that even mean? I don't--" The words made no sense to her when Zephyros said them, but maybe there was something she was forgetting about. "N-no, it can't be!" She frantically dug through her bag and took out her cell phone, then started flipping through her contact information until she found her. The other girl she saw in her dreams who had teal-colored hair, a girl she has known for quite some time.

"NO FREAKIN' WAY! AERIS!?" Without giving any sort of explanation, Terra jumped out of her seat and bolted out of the cellar just as Caelen reentered and announced the arrival of more visitors.

Chef stood up and outstretched his arms. He was about ready to leave the cellar himself. Another meeting was scheduled for the town council today as they continued to debate how to deal with the recent attacks. And while Chef certainly didn't like the council, given how they treated him, he figured being absent would only worsen his standing with them. He also wanted to know how much they knew about the situation and what course of action they would choose, if any. But after Caelen made his announcement, he walked toward Chef and informed him of Alice's state.

"What? No, it's too soon..." Pain and sorrow once again showed on the young man's face, though he was certainly much more composed compared to the first time Alice fell into a coma. Now that he at least had an explanation from her, he was much better equipped to deal with this. He just wished he had more time with her before she left. While the others filed out of the cellar and made their way to the manor door to greet the new visitors, Chef stopped just outside the kitchen.

"Hang on for a second, Caelen. I know we have more guests on the way, but I feel I should at least pass along what Alice told me. I still don't have an answer for why she falls into these comas. What I do know is that they're scheduled to happen more frequently." He sighed deeply once again, looking off to the side momentarily. "I just wish we had more time with her. We only just got her back and now we've lost her again. She did say she didn't have a lot of time left, though. And she also asked me to do something. She wanted me to take her somewhere safe and secluded. Whether you agree or not, I gave her my word. But I didn't want to just disappear with her without at least letting you know."

Terra shouting something about someone named Aeris and then zipping frantically out of the cellar with her mobile phone in hand did little more than elicit a raised eyebrow from the butler. Aylin requested tea, so that took priority. Besides, Lunette was still in the kitchen, presumably, and should at least show enough courtesy to greet the new guests. Whether she actually said anything to them or not was probably asking for too much.

Those thoughts all whizzed through Caelen's mind in a matter of seconds as he ascended the wine cellar stairs and briefly told Lunette to follow everyone into the foyer on their way out of the kitchen. Lune just shrugged and ambled out of the kitchen behind everyone else. Just outside the kitchen doors, Chef hung back, asking for a moment of the butler's time. Chef's message came as no surprise. After all, had Caelen not just been the one to tell Charm that even Chef was not privy to all of Alice's deepest secrets? The thought of Alice being taken away to some place only known to Chef was difficult to swallow, but if things got desperate, Chef could always go get Alice. Caelen's own ability to search out souls would be a last, desperate resort.

As much as I may not like it, I will respect Alice's wishes. Just promise me that if a situation arises that looks as if it could mean danger for her, you will fetch her back here posthaste. Caelen said quietly to Chef, just out of earshot of the others.

The two men hung back from the group gathering at the manor doors, awaiting the arrival of the two newest guests to grace the halls of Barton Manor in the space of only 24 hours. Lunette, not unlike Caelen and Chef, was off to the side, lounging against the staircase railing. Caelen sighed in resignation and turned his attention to the front doors.

Prim had nothing more to say, just waited and stared into space. She was beginning to day-dream about that woman that kept appearing in her dreams. She felt a special connection to her, but couldn't place her face or her identity. Zephyros' words felt heavy, and she was truly worried for the future of Barton. Even though he had said not to take on too many burdens, Prim felt it was her duty to do so. A sigh escaped her lips. She got up from the table and wandered to the kitchen window, staring out.

Lorelei smirked gently after hearing Zephyros' reply. She knew it would surprise him that she had remembered him from long ago. In fact, he was not the only one she knew from back then. The influence of ancient magic was her specialty. She held her garnet charm and watched Prim from the corner of her eye.

Sardis

Sardis had continued sleeping soundly for some time. He was getting into a new and even more tantalizing dream when the bushes began to shake. The sound of the rustling and the noise of breathing began to wake him. Lazily he opened one eye and saw the face of the little dragon burrowing down toward him. He shot awake with a start and the dragon squawked at him. He took a moment to catch his breath and then looked up at it. "What are you doing?" He asked sounding annoyed.
The dragon skreeched and clicked at him and he hopped up on another branch. "I'm doing it, I'm doing it! See, that's there place where they're all at. I'm, uh, scoping it out." He said flapping his little wings. The dragon seemed unconvinced and made another noise and Sardis frowned. "I can't go right up to it. They'd totally know I was there and besides, they got something around the place. I think it's a barrier." The dragon titled its head at him and he groaned. "Oh c'mon." He pleaded with no success. The dragon reached down and nipped at his tail. "Fine, fine..." He grumbled as the dragon removed it's head from the bush.

Sardis poked his head out and looked around. "Aw, it's not even really day yet!" He complained sorely. The dragon chirped at him and he looked back at the manor. "I don't know, they're inside there...somewhere." The dragon made another noise and Sardis stretched his wings. "Get them to come out? How do I do that?" He asked, still wanting to go back to sleep. The dragon looked around and then Sardis sparked up. "Sayyyy, I've got an idea!" He said taking off slowly. As he flittered around the bush the dragon watched him silently. "Yeah! This could totally work and it'd be so cool. But, we'll need some stuff." He circled the dragon and it finally made a call. "I need to you to go get me like, three or four casks of whiskey from town." The dragon tilted it's head once more as Sardis began to chuckle.
He began heading toward town chuckling to himself. The dragon watched him a moment and then took off to follow him. "If you find any black power, get some of that too. And when you get it all, bring it to the bushes and hide them in there," he barked "I've got me a plan!" The dragon flew past him in a couple of beats of it's wings and was soon out of sight. Sardis changed back to his normal form and went to get some of things he'd need. It didn't take nearly as long as he thought it would. The dragon had grabbed four casks of whiskey. Sardis, had found a bunch of fireworks and a barrel. He began working on his contraption almost immediately. The dragon just perched above him and watched. "See," he said "It's a distraction. We get this stuff to explode and then they'll come out to see what happened. Then we get a good look at them and what they're up to."

He spent fifteen minutes rigging his bomb. When it was all said and done he was really proud of it. He looked up at the dragon and said "Ta-da!" with a great deal of excitement. He looked down and tapped his chin looking at it. The dragon flew down and landed on this shoulder. "Ok, now, to place it in just the right spot and find someplace to hide." He was looking around when the dragon screeched and flew off. "What?" he asked watching it. Then, he looked down both hearing and smelling something. The fuse was lit. The dragon had started the diversion before Sardis was expecting. Unfortunately, the dragon started almost the whole fuse on fire with it's flame. By the time Sardis saw what was happening, it was almost done. He let out a noise as his wonderful bomb exploded in his face. The explosion was powerful and loud. It echoed all the way back to the square. It left and huge crater where the bomb was. This crater was surrounded by burning bits of debris. Sardis himself was blown into the bushes. He lay there twitching, his top had been blown off and he was smoldering. His face was blackened and his hair was blown back. He groaned lowly and his legs fell down to the ground. "That-that wasn't how this was supposed to work..." He bemoaned as he lay there. The dragon watched from it's perch to see if anyone would come and see the cause of this explosion or if this was just a wild goose chase.

Sailor Dark Vortex sighed, thinking the person before her was just stubborn. She was there for whatever handout that was to be offered and probably nothing more. Still, out of all the people inhabiting Barton, this was the only one who she might actually be able to not drive away from the town. It wasn't that she was attached to the person, it was just the only person she didn't have to remove eventually. However, she could tell Ayel wanted to pull in all the energy she could then use it do wipe out Barton. Exactly what did she have in mind after this revenge? She didn't know what her Master would think either, if Ayel was going to dig her heels in and be a problem.

Her master needed the town cleared. She didn't know much of her master's plans, really all she knew was that the town was going to be destroyed in due, aka soon, time. There was time to remove the people from the town before it crumbled, and that was her purpose. This was the destiny given to her... however. To convince these people, DV felt she was going to need more influence. So she was going to have to open this metaphorical gate to this power, and allow some more to vent upward to the city surface. She'd also have to make sure some of it, though not too much, went to this odd not quite ally sulking here before her.

"I'm the only one who is permitted to touch this power before it surfaces, Ayel, to make it rise from it's deep seal in the ground." DV said, summoning her swords to her hands. Then she dangled them in front of her and loosened her grip. Both stood upright even as she let go, and the end of the blade just above the ground, each sword levitated and began to trace just above the ground. Soft blue lines began to appear where the swords had hovered, then, their circle drawn, came back to their owners hands. DV stepped to the center of the circle, standing idle.

A few new voices could be heard approaching the building.

"Leave them for now, Ayel." DV said. "I was waiting for them, and if you ruin my plan I won't tolerate you. If you can't even work with me, I doubt my master will have the patience to." A subtle dark aura began to emit from the magic circle, and she knew Ayel could probably sense it. If the girl, or whatever she was, tried to drain the dark energy now, she would only get a tiny amount of the negative power. Some time was required to pull up more energy, and DV could do it more effectively if she wasn't fighting off an attack. She gently drew some of the energy into herself, a strange smirk coming to her face.

"I wouldn't ask," she said, certain Ayel wasn't too keen on leaving the council members alone, "if I didn't have something in return."

From deep in the ground, DV finally hear the voice clearly this time. The aura that had teased her and destroyed the tree on the night of the strange moon. It rang clearly into her mind.

Enjoying yourself my pet?

“Well, this is it. Are you ready to face your grandmother,” Aylin questioned Seren not expecting a response when they heard the firm knock upon the oversized doors to the manor.

Aylin folded her wings against her back and placed Kai on his customary place upon her shoulders before making a few slight adjustments to her attire. Letting out a soft sigh the diminutive pixie princess stood tall and regal as she opened the door and bowed to the older looking, yet still quite younger, woman who carried the same lines of magic from her body that Seren did. As she emerged from the bow, rose colored eyes locked with the hazel eyes of the taller woman that spoke volumes of experience in the mystic arts. They were eyes that Aylin could tell held a deeply guarded secret from those who were close to her. And they were eyes that she was certain would challenge her on every point she was about to bring up in regards to Seren and the training she needed. Aylin was about to use every last ounce of diplomacy and protocol taught to her by both her her grandmother and parents that she dreaded learning as a child. She knew the only way for her to earn the respect of the woman before her Aylin would have to make a proper introduction using a title she had not used in years.

“My name is Aylin Rhys-Stewart eldest born child of their Royal Highnesses Finn and Moira Rhys High King and Queen of the Air Clan Pixies, Presumptive heir to the high throne of Alnair, Commander of the Fifth Regiment of the Royal Air Clan Army, Captain of the Gaia Casimir Alliance, Officer of the Barton Fort of Athletes and Artists, and rightful heir to the mantle of Sailor Alnair. This is my partner Kai,” Aylin began as she made a gesture to the bowing gray cat upon her shoulders, “It is with great honor and great pleasure that we welcome you here to our social club's home, the Barton Manor. I can only assume, judging by the strong family resemblance, that you have come to inquire about Seren. Come, why don't you join me in the game room and we can discuss what has happened and why Seren did not return home last night.”

Aylin hated not being able to get to the point of the matter right then and there but she had to play things very close to the vest if she was going to be able to pull out her trump cards at the right moment. She had half promised to Seren that she wouldn't make any mention of the light magic just yet and she did not want to reveal that she knew Seren's grandmother had been or still was a very strong and capable Senshi in her own right. Letting out a soft breath Aylin waited for Seren's grandmother or the young lady standing a little bit behind and off to her left to say something as she continued to size up the older of the pair.

Seren nodded to Aylin and giggled a bit to herself about facing her grandma she wasn't that intimidating really
just very protective and loving, but she was confident Miss Aylin could get her to stay. When the door open she was
surprised to see yet another freind here!! It was Aureate who ran in her opinion an even nicer flower shop then Rina,
waving and smiling at her from around Aylin. She was stopped short by the way Aylin introduced herself in fact her
jaw dropped a bit from the surprise at it, now those were some titles!

as soon as the door's of the mansion were opened, She was greeted by a very unusual sight a little pixie bowing
and spouting unnecessary titles and behind her Seren. Smirking a little and putting her hand on her hip,
with a tilt to her head she replied "Well those are some mighty fancy and unnecessary titles there little
Miss Pixie but yes I suppose the fact we look similar is a giveaway of who I am, you know besides the fact Seren no
doubt asked permission to call me. But forgive me I should introduce myself as well I am Mikayla Ashton and yes that
would ideal I believe I just need a quick word with Seren."
Waving her granddaughter far enough over to
prevent unwanted eavesdroppers she began to ask her some questions.

Wondering why her grandma was calling her over she followed her over and began to nod and answer the question's as best
she could though it seemed her grandma was pleased and yet wary about her answers, soon enough they were done and she
was then asked something else Seren why don't you take Aureate and go show her around I think it's best
I....talk to Miss Rhys in private
nodding she ran over to where Aureate was looking around
"Aureate! let's go to the kitchen I'm sure Miss Kagura or Caelen wouldn't mind me making us some tea and then we can go
go find the garden here and have a nice little chat
and so together they walked back down the hall.

Watching Seren walk off so happily with her friend brought a smile to her face, she was so indeed so fortunate that
Aureate had somehow followed her this conversation was something she did not desire her to overhear turning back to the
door she once again addressed the waiting pixie now noting the sharp eyes of the cat perched on her shoulders.
Well then shall we proceed? Please do lead the way she stated while gesturing down a
random hallway.

Aureate smiled as she stepped out of her hiding spot behind a tall bush, revealing herself in full trust. Mikayla, as her friend's grandmother, was someone she trusted just as much as how she did others. Respect ran deeply between their relationship, standing as a focal point as to how both treated each other. However, as Aureate began to approach the elder woman, she noticed a dark spot starting to make itself known within the woman's soul. It was tiny, but enough to be alarming. Normally, the woman held no secrets to her because there was never a single thing to be hidden from her. Inwardly, Aureate frowned and stood next to her friend.

I know, Granny Mikayla, Aureate said, keeping the small smile on her face. I have never been to this location, that's all. Receiving a nod was all she needed before she followed the grandmother to the manor's large doors. As soon as they both stepped up, the doors opened. A pixie, two heads shorter than her, stood formally and introduced herself before Mikayla shooed her away to come with.. Seren! Aureate exclaimed back and naturally gravitated towards her younger friend whom she's spent quite some time inside her own flower shop and around Barton. Quickly enough, Seren pulled her inside before she could introduce herself to the pixie, but the brunette figured that the introductions can wait until the chat between two elder women finishes.

She let herself be dragged into the hallway, immediately attracted to the smell of wondrous tea. It was a relief to see her friend well and safe, especially from what Leon had told her when the town was put in danger. The same enthusiasm alive in the blonde's green eyes brought a smile to Aureate's lips, content in only listening to the younger's chatter of her free time in the manor. A small nagging inside her head kept her from actually enjoying the temporary peace her friend presented. She felt tension in the air when she quietly watched the pixie and her friend's grandmother talk. Something else is going on, she thought and couldn't help but notice how both of the evidently older women shared similar auras just like how she found Seren's when they had first met. Shaking her head, Aureate discarded the thoughts for now. They neared an open room with two men standing by the doors of what looked like a common hall leading to other hallways. A raven-haired girl was leaning against the large staircase's railing with a scowl on her face, making Aureate wonder if she's always had that expression on.

Aureate stopped behind Seren, kindly nodding to all three of them and waited to be introduced.
