Joachim frowned, he was not looking forward to this part of the house cup, however he felt compelled to at least give the attempt of battling a mascot in order to aid his team. They were winning at the moment, he wasn't sure if even fighting something would actually his team a victory.
He kept his distance from the monster as he started to play his flute summoning his mice to his aid. They swarmed the beast up the legs before the shock of a white carpet descending upon his body passed he he attempt to stomp on them.

Merel squeaked in horror as she watched some of the familiar white mice almost getting crushed by the large beast, she pulled on his hair distracting him from playing.
The white mice scattered.

Shaking Merel loose Joachim returned attempting to play a different tune, this time the mice huddled together before creating a swirling pattern around the beast tail and climbing along its back chewing its way along.

The beast swung before trying to roll on its back and squish the small mice. Instead the little creatures started to attack its belly in return.

Merel started to screech as she pulled on his hair, he ignored it this time instead picking up the pace of his music as the mice followed lead. This time they swarmed around the creatures arm chewing the knuckles.

The creature slammed it's fist into the ground causing the white mice to scatter across the ground losing focus on the music. Joachim frowned as he had to slow down the pace and convince them to regroup.

Joachim changed the turn of the music, pulling in deeper lower notes in hopes to refocused the mice as Merel screamed angrily at them. Some of the mice listened and stared to swarm the the tail of the beast, others nibbled the toes.

The creature screeched and swept his tail across the ground causing the mice to scatter again. Joachim brows knotted as he stopped playing and tried to think of a different tune to regroup the mice.

This time he started to play chirpy tune, something more upbeat as the mice started to run around in circles before regrouping in one large swirling mass of white fur. When the group was large enough the mice started to nibble again at the feet before running up the legs and across the monster's belly.

Joachim continued to play increasing the speed of the notes and increasing the volume. The mice reacted in a fury as they wrapped around the creatures belly and up around the neck and bite into the ears. Flailing around for a moment screeching in pain the monster finally collapsed to the ground. Victory! Of course it came down to fighting. Taima rolled her eyes, giving the Reaper mascot the chance to get a quick sucker punch in. She cried out in surprise and took a step back, her eyes glowing yellow as she glared at the creature. If looks could kill wasn't just a clever idiom for Taima--twin bolts of electricity shot from her eyes and struck the mascot, leaving it a little singed.

Taima grinned as the Reaper shrieked and dissipated under her assault. Despite her general apathy for combat in general, she felt a distinct sense of satisfaction as the creature disappeared.
