Lillian looked over at Adrian and rolled her eyes as she saw the smirk on his face. She turned her attention to the spatula, though it was really, really hard for her to focus completely on what she was doing as she thought of what Adrian had said before. And what he said afterwards did not make things easier at all. 'Adrian! Please...' she snapped, though her tone was laced with a bit of a giggle as she tried to focus some on the food she was making. After rinsing the spatula off she got back to making the French Toast and she put the cinnamon rolls into the oven. 'You think that this is terribly funny, don't you? And my poor mother has no clue as to what's really wrong with me and we can't just out and tell her now can we?' she asked as she had a flustered look on her face, while trying to keep the food from burning.

Adrian tapped his chin lightly, shrugging one shoulder. "We could, if you want. It isn't like she'd believe it without proof," he murmured idly, half joking. He glanced out at the sun streaming through the window and stuck his hand into the sunlight. He blinked as thin prismatic threads of light began gathering into his palm.
Sighing and grabbing two plates Lillian flipped a few pieces of French Toast that were done ontoone of them for Adrian while she set the other one at her usual seat. "Here's your breakfast, Adrian." she said as she mentallly replied to what Adrian had said to her. 'I doubt that it would be wise and my mother would think that I was going insane if I were to say something like that... I really wouldn't want to get put in a rubber room for saying something that would sound as crazy like I can use telepathy or something.' After setting the plates on the table she went back to making more French Toast and checking her cinnamon rolls from time to time. "Oh, the syrup is in that cabinet over there by the sink." she said, telling Adrian where the syrup was. She even told him where the whipped cream was, but she was hoping that he'd not really get that.

Adrian cocked an eyebrow, glancing towards Lillian as she spoke verbally. He clenched his hand, a momentary flickering burst of light almost like a lightbulb blowing out flashing between his fingers as his hand flicked slightly, the cabinet door swinging with a slight creak open as the maple syrup levitated to the kitchen table as the door swung shut. He didn't notice Rosaline walking into the room behind and to his left from a nearby hallway as the bottle landed with a slight tapping sound on the table. "They say seeing is believing, though I'm not sure how true that is. I do, however, have a bit of an idea that might catch her interest," he thought as he sat down at the table, still not noticing Rosaline staring at him from behind with a surprised-shocked look on her face.
Lillian finished up cooking the rest of the French Toast that she was making as she noticed the bottle of syrup floating over to and landing on the table. "Oh shi-" she blurted before covering her mouth, as she noticed that her mother had seen that too. "Mom... uh... you didn't just see that..." she said, "Oh, and neither did I.." she gave as an after thought, hoping her mother would buy it, though it was clear that she did not."I know what I saw dear, though how? That's what I'd like to know."Rosaline said as she looked from her daughter, and then to Adrian.

Adrian shrugged one shoulder. "Kinda hard to explain, since frankly I'm trying to figure it out myself. I do know that to me... it feels much like using a limb that has been bound for an extended period as if in a cast," he said idly, not seeming to notice the startled look on her face. "I don't know if it also explains other things, but recently..." he said with a slight shrug as he thought of the previous night. "Things have gotten more interesting," he said quietly.
Lillian thought about the cinnamon rolls that were in the oven, yet she was thinking more of Adrian and her mother's reaction. "Please believe him Mom... I know it sounds nuts, though what he's saying is true and don't you mind about the 'other things', since they aren't all too important..." she said, half lying to her mother. She knew that her mother had to get going to the hospital, so she was soon talking to her mother and distracting her to get her mind off of what she'd seen. Also, Lillian begged her mother not to tell her father what had haapened, not until he wasn't angry about the fact that she'd fallen asleep in Adrian's room. Rosaline looked at her daughter, shaking her head and said that she wouldn't, but she said that they did have to say something eventually because if they didn't she'd not hide it forever. "Thanks Mom... Now I have to get those cinnamon rolls out of the oven before they burn." she said, hurrying to the oven.

Adrian tilted his head slightly, not surprised by Rosaline's words. "There are some that may try to threaten you and yours, but do not give them what they ask," he said quietly to Rosaline.
Lillian looked to her mother, who had gone to sit at the table. "Mom, don't you have to get to the hospital this morning?" she asked her mother."Not right this morning, dear. I have half a day off and I am going to spend it with my daughter and her new friend."Rosaline said as she looked at the cinnamon rolls as Lillian brought them to the table and set them on a pot-holder."Those smell wonderful, Lillian,"Lillian nodded to her mother, but jumped briefly as she felt Roxy's nose bumping into her leg."Look's like Roxy thinks so, too."Rosaline added. Lightly gripping Roxy's collar, Lillian walked the dog out of the kitchen and told her to stay before returning to the table and seating herself right next to Adrian, after turning off the stove. "I hope they taste as good as they look and smell..." Lillian said as she pulled one onto her plate, as she offered her mother some French Toast, yet her mother didn't want any. And just as Lillian was going to take a bite of food her mother made mention of hearing the talk that went on between Adrian, Lillian and Mr. Stacey. "Mom... not right now, all right...? Nothing happened if that's what you're thinking... And if you are you're just as bad as Daddy..." she said to her mother, giving a heavy sigh. She knew that her word choice probably wasn't the best, yet right in that moment she cared very little about that.

Adrian tilted his head slightly, thinking. "I wonder what he'll do about that gold I gave him," he muttered, forgetting that Rosaline likely didn't know about it as he started eating. "I don't know how much about vampires is Hollywood myth and how much is truth, but I do know that detail that they sometimes mention about letting a vampire in is true," he murmured to Lillian. "I get that he's overprotective, but he can only protect Lillian for so long... eventually he'll either push her away... or she'll move in with someone, I don't know. I'm socially clueless, I'll admit, and almost ridiculously hyper at times, which helps with..." he said as a odd ringtone trilled out. He blinked, pausing as he looked down before pulling what was recognizable as a wireless headset though there was no visible microphone. He frowned slightly, hearing whatever was on the other end. "Tell her to be careful; it wouldn't be easy to get halfway across the city without being noticed, even for me, Kate," he said at last before he sighed, removing it from his ear. "That was one of the few friends I've got. Hopefully her sister won't get herself into trouble, especially after that incident with Mercury," he said quietly. He knew they would be curious, though he also knew that the public knew that Kate a.k.a Katherine Connors had officially been dismissed from the Ontario PD, though the reason hadn't been given.
Lillian looked to Adrian as she heard him speaking and she shrugged. "I have no idea what he'll do about that... I know that he might have seemed willing to share it, though he might not... No offense Mom, but you know how Daddy is when it comes to money, well sometimes..." she said as she got up walked to the cd player that was in the kitchen and popped in a mix cd and hit play and shuffle. She had to get some background noise playing or she felt that she might just lose her mind with all the stress that she was dealing with. Although, she heard a strange sounding ringtone and she looked to Adrian, thinking that it might be him, though she didn't know if he had a cellphone or not. She stopped the cd, as she did not want to distract the important sounding conversation that he was having by playing music too loudly in the background. She wasn't sure what that was all about, but she wanted to find out. 'What's up...? Is there something wrong and is there anything that I may be able to do to help?' she asked Adrian, though she wasn't too confident that she could do anything at all, if there was help needed to begin with. As she awaited an answer she pushed the play button again and a song started playing. Lillian started humming along to the song as she walked to her seat. Normally when she heard this sort of song she always started crying or got depressed, yet she didn't think that she had a reason to, as long as Adrian stayed true to her; which she felt was very likely, due to how close he seemed to be to her, that and the fact that she couldn't bear the thought of him not staying with her.

Adrian shrugged. "Faith just being Faith; she tends to get into trouble sometimes, but short of Mayor Pope, she knows how to get out of it well enough. Runners like her and I tend to be the proverbial 'shadows' on the wall, rarely noticed but if you know how to reach us, we'll move whatever is necessary," he murmured, faintly amused. He knew that Mayor Robert Pope had been murdered no more than eight months before and that Kate had been framed for the incident. His eyebrow cocked upward slightly when he head the song she had chosen, a small smile playing at the corners of his mouth which gave away his amusement.
Lillian looked in Adrian's direction and gave a small smile to him. 'Ah. I wish that I was so easily unnoticed. At least by some people... "Some people" meaning my neighbor two houses down...' she thought, shivering at the thought. She finished up her breakfast and she stood up, walking over to Adrian, wrapping her arms around him from behind. She knew that if her father would have been there he'd not have approved of this kind of behavior, due to them only having known each other for a few days, though she did not care and just nuzzled her face into Adrian's neck as if they'd been together for a couple years rather than a few days.

Adrian chuckled. "Trust me, being a Runner isn't all it's cracked up to be... it may be energetic and freeing, but there have been recent problems with certain groups that are less than pleasant. Faith dubbed them PCs, and they do their best to either incapacitate and capture... or worse," he murmured. He knew there had been a recent incident that was dubbed as a 'suicide'. "Tell me, Rosaline, did you recently have a 'suicide' of a Caucasian female with blond hair, and a black vest over a red tee shirt and jeans?" he said, seeing the woman's eyes widen in shock as technically he shouldn't have known anything about it... when in fact he knew exactly who it was who had 'committed suicide'... because she hadn't committed suicide at all.

Lillian loosened her grip on Asrian, though only because she thought that if she hugged him any tighter that she might choke him. Although, as she thought a bit more about it she doubted that she'd be strong enough to do that; neither physically or mentally. 'I suppose so... But having free run to do what you want when you want sounds like it could be fun... That doesn't sound too good at all...' she thought, adding that last bit as an after thought. She heard what Adrian was saying verbally and she looked to her mother, seeing the shocked look on her face."H-how did you know that?"Rosaline said stammering slightly before speaking normally. She was a bit shocked to hear that Adrian knew of such things, especially when information on that 'suicide' hadn't been released. 'Adrian, I think that you might be freaking my mom out because she only gets that look when something is seriously freaking her out... And to be completely honest that rarely happens... I know that you're trying to help us, though could you maybe try easing things on to my parents...? They aren't so easy to accept or believe things as I am... And if not for that I'd probably have taken you to the hospital and not to Ivory when that change was happening...' she whispered to Adrian mentally, slightly shuddering at the thought of what may have happened if she'd not believed the whole thing and took him to the hospital.
