The Flying Duckman OOC: Hey guys, just a quick question; Tree Spirits haven't been done, right? I don't want to make a character of that species without knowing if there's any rules for them in this universe. (nope, we have a species of living plants called the Rogin, but other than that your good edit: oh wait actually one of Circuit's characters is a natural "elemental", but I figure that's different enough to be considered a different race, so no problems)

xxxxx"Talk" Walk Think
xxxxxIt took the whole first week of school to confirm the transport for Nikki. She had to be transported on the back of a truck, the small amount of soil she had connected to her base in a bag. The ride was bumpy and, though it's impossible for a tree to get car sick, Nikki was feeling very uncomfortable. All of this wasn't helped by the fact that she wasn't able to take her human form. She would have liked to be sitting in the front with the rest of the people. On arrival, the men got out of the truck, lifting the tree from the truck and carrying it towards the courtyard, the elderly woman who made this all possible for Nikki supervising the operation. They placed the tree in a pre-dug hole, filled in the needed soil and went back to the truck. Nikki appeared at clinging to the tree's trunk, looking a little woozy. The old woman asked her if she was alright. "Yes, I'm fine. I will be fine. I've never been transplanted before." The woman laughed and reassured Nikki that everything would be fine as soon as she took root. Nikki nodded. She really hoped the soil was nice. She really hoped she'd be able to grow her roots enough to investigate the whole school soon. For now she was stuck in one spot. Oh well, she thought as she idly waved her good friend fair well. I can always make new friends right here. There are a lot of people walking past.
xxxxxIn spite of her dizziness, Nikki was rather excited. She'd never been to a school before. There were so many new things that she could experience here. What was being in a class like? She wasn't sure if she'd be able to attend classes until her roots had grown in the right areas, but even the thought of being in a class room some time soon filled Nikki with hope. And the friends she would make! She really didn't know many people her age back in the village. They were all primarily adults. Now was her chance to meet teenagers like her! People hurried passed the tree, a few taking a moment to take a glimpse at the new courtyard ornament. Nikki stood with her back against the tree, attempting to strike up conversation with absolutely everyone. "Oh, hello. What's your name? I'm Nikki. Nice to mee--" But they all rushed passed, not noticing her much, most giving her a glace and maybe a smile. "Oh, ok then. I'll- I'll chat to you later!" They were heading towards a building. Nikki could only guess it was for food. She didn't need food, not in the traditional sense. She was a tree first and a spirit second, after all. She got her energy from photosymphisis. Though she did wonder what was the appeal of food. She'd seen people who loved it so much they physically expanded because they were overindulging themselves. Maybe she could try some food in her time here. That would be interesting. She mused over all these possibilities in glee. Yes, she decided that she was going to like it here.
OOC: I don't think elkiai's character can communicate with plants as far as I can see. I was thinking that, plant wise, every plant has a soul however it takes a bit of magic for plants to let this soul become free. Also supports the shaman's beliefs.
And, I like the idea of a forest with a high magic concentration having a tribe of tree spirits who'd bind together to learn from each other. Like the elders would know the most because their roots would be the furthest spread and therefore they would be more travelled. I just think that'd be interesting.

 Victor Iquia Viev Ingu |__________________________In the cafeteria was Victor, sitting on a table resting his head on the palm of his hand staring out the window. It hadn't even been an hour since he'd arrived at this school. He new that the group that enslaved him might still be looking for him, what would they if they find him in this school. Victor had no clue what would happen. He was just staring out the window hoping that they don't find him hear. Victor's mind was completely closed off from the outside world.
After a while of staring out the window at nothing Victor snapped back to reality by a voice from behind him at the cafeteria door. "where should we sit Ranty?" The voice was so sodden. Victor looked back surprisingly. "You can sit over here if you want." Victor said before turning back around and began moving closer to the window to make room.

Hibachi Rant
Hibachi's ears perked up when someone suddenly called back to them. She glanced around a bit before noticing it was a young man who had spoken up. When he eyes came to rest on his ears they began glowing violet, clearly displaying her distaste for being propositioned by a dirty neko (or what she thought was a neko, she didn't bother catching his scent to verify). "pfft, like I'd ever be caught dead hanging around with neko scum like you" she said haughtily, sticking her nose up at him, completely ignoring the fact that not only was she clinging onto a neko right now, she was inf act half neko herself. Infact her neko traits where more obvious than her snake demon ones. "come on Ranty, lets find somewhere CLEAN to sit" she said, trying to pull him along.

As Nikki tried, with little luck it seemed, to make new friends, two figures approached the tree spirit from within the school. Both where clearly to old to be students, and where both garbed in blue. "Hello there young....errr...lady..." the man said, rubbing his beard a bit, not sure what terminology to use with a tree. Sure she LOOKED like a woman, but having helped designed the "girl" accompanying him he knew appearances meant nothing....well...they did account for something, after all the blue haired woman's bust size had by no means been an accident. "focus" he reminded himself, smiling and letting out a chuckle. "Anyways My name is Zain Trist, and this here is Automaton Model 21A mark 2, though we like to call her Zia for short" he said, motioning for Zia to introduce herself. The robotic woman stared blankly at Nikki for a moment before nodding. "greetings" it said. "we're part of the Blue Cloaks, you can think of us as the handymen of the school. I happen to be the head of the Maintenance Division, and Zia is head of the Archive Division, and we're here just to make sure your transplantation has gone smoothly and your roots aren't damaged in any way" he told her. Zia then kneeled down and stuck a finger into the dirt around Nikki's tree. The spirit would feel a warm liquid-metal shifting its way through the dirt and coating her roots, scanning and examining them in the process. "her vitals appear are healthy and there is no significant damage to her root system, she should be able to grow unobstructed" Zia reported, sucking the liquid metal back its body through its finger "good, very good. We've taken the measure of having our apothecaries brew up some custom plant food for you, this should help your roots grow out faster, thus allowing you access to the full campus as soon as possible" Zain informed her "Zia herself will be coming to feed you twice a day" he told her. Zia glanced up at him, her blank eyes managing to portray unammusement. "I believe that is work for the maintenance staff to handle, as I have my own duties to take care of. If you simply wish me to visit your office then say so" It said, seeing right through him, knowing he'd conveniently have the plant food stored in his office, most likely somewhere Zia'd have to bend down to get it. Zain chuckled and patted the robot on the back. "gah caught me there haven't you? You've become quite adept at sensing motives and behavioral patterns haven't you?" he said, trying to play it off as a test of Zia's AI.

Rem Rem wandered down the hall and came across 3 people an older man, 2 younger girls one of which didn't give off any life energy, curious Rem walked up to the group "Hello, How is everyone this morning" she asked she looked over the group the older man must be a teacher or at least he wasn't a student from what Rem could tell, The other girl in the blue dress gave off a more nature based energy reminding Rem of another friend who gave of the same vibe. The last girl gave off no signs of life energy but was obviously still alive as she had been moving around which confused Rem a bit but she wasn't going to be blunt about it though Rem couldn't help glancing over to her

Aerith smiled down at Ivory. "No, its ok." she said. Soon she heard the bell ring and saw that it was time for class. "What class do you have..next?" she asked. Aerith's class was duel, meaning that she'd be learning under Sakura Sensei. "I have dueling class." she said as she began exiting the cafeteria with Ivory.

Hotaru had been directed to her class because she had misread her schedule. She didn't have literature first she had it second. And here she was explaining the teacher how she was in the class and what not. "Oh, gosh. I made an embarrassment of myself." she muttered as she began rushing downstairs. The bell had rang for everyone to go to class. If the second one rings then she'd be late for sure. "Oh I hope I remember where it is." she said dashing around and finally realized that it was outside. Hotaru was there but she was already tired and panting. She made her way over to the tree and sat under the shade to catch her breath.

Axel was already in combat class and saw that a few people were coming in. She gave a sigh waiting for class to start. All they've been doing in there was introduce themselves and muscle work. Axel wasn't much for that so she was hiding behind a tree. The very same one that Hotaru had just sat down under.

Mususbi was sitting on a giant rock as she watched everyone come in. Not many were coming in but she guess it took time. There was five more minutes left till the second bell so she was sure that students would make it by then. She looked over her shoulder and smiled at her guess. "I never thought I'd see you as a teacher Musubi. You act to much like a kid to teach one." they said. Musubi pouted. "Oh Atsuji, you'll never learn will you that I'm just as smart as any other person here." she said sticking her tongue at the other. "Sure...fighting wise." they said and the two began to chuckle. Musubi had brought in a guess today to help the students out with with their workout for today. She needed an extra hand that and Atsuji was on important business anyways.

Cielle had heard most of the conversation in the office, being a bit skeptical about Alabaster's choice to reach out to two very powerful demon kingdoms. Still, Alabaster knew best she supposed. Hearing their footsteps approach, Cielle gasped and quickly straightened up before backing away, trying to feign innocence. She dodged the opening door and struck a stance that looked like she was in midstride. She thought up of an excuse quickly, reposturing herself to look more dignified and refined, especially infront of two queens. "Alabaster, I was just passing by when i noticed a large increase in power around the school. Who knew that they belonged to such.... She struggled to choose an appropriate word there. "grand individuals" Cielle crossed her legs and bowed deeply and gracefully with her arms open wide, imitating some bird of sort. "Your majesties Tomoko and Uldina, I have heard many things about you two." She couldn't help smiling at Tomoko's reaction to Uldina's perverse comment, feeling rather pleased with herself for appealing to them so quickly. "How flattering."
She rose once Ron appeared, flashing him a quick smile and a wave. "I apologize but i couldn't help hearing your situation. I'd be happy to assist in combat." Cielle's eye twitched at the mention of Orochi and quickly glanced at Uldina incase she'd heard the "great and powerful" snake demon's name.

Flo's eyes opened to the sunlight filtering in through holes in the leaves. She'd never managed to get herself a dorm and had been sleeping in trees all this time. Something about it being "not the right time yet." Blinking away the sleepiness, she dropped down from the branches and landed on the ground with a solid thud. Observing the courtyard, she immediately noticed the presence of a new tree in the middle of the yard. Flo sensed something different about the tree, it was much more..."alive" than the others. She figured she'd take a closer look after breakfast.
Arriving at the cafeteria, Flo took a tray and began selecting foods. She mostly took bread and fruit. Making sure to stay clear away from any pears. She sat down at an empty table and began to eat alone, taking note of the people in the building incase they were in her class. Once the bell had rung she quickly disposed of any remains and headed to class (in other words, followed random students.)
