Joyfully Subversive "Oh, I'm fine," Jaz said airily, and winked right back. "I'm gonna sleep in the hole too, once I find that natural tar." She winked at Elath and went to a nearby pit. Smearing a bunch of the black stuff, she preceeded to coat the entire roof of the shelter with tar, then covered it with more leaves and branches. Dusting off her hands, she jumped into the hold. "Elath, care to help me dig a little?" She then made a spot on one side that conformed to her body, even making a little mattress of fronds. "What happens if I don't?" Elath said warily. "Ah, fine, I'll help." Er.... *dig dig*?

Meiloyn finally returned from the other side of the island. "Hey guys, look what I found!" Meiloyn held up two large nets filled with fish.

Tig rocked back and forth in the sand, rubbing her arms.
She sighed a little and rummaged around in her bag, pulling out a half full thermos of cold coffee.
"God, I'm so tired and freezing," She commented, taking a sip of the coffee.

Teh Gothic Oreo Tig rocked back and forth in the sand, rubbing her arms.
She sighed a little and rummaged around in her bag, pulling out a half full thermos of cold coffee.
"God, I'm so tired and freezing," She commented, taking a sip of the coffee. "Okies, let's start the bonfire!" Jaz dragged a whole bunch of logs into a pile. "Hey, anybody got a lighter?"

((Those who know my clue, feel free to pass it around. I'm going to sleep now so I guess my character will as well.))
Vittay realised today had been a long day. It all seemed so unreal, so very different and unbelievable. Her friends back home would never believe she had been stuck on an island with a bunch of cannibals! That is, if she ever got the chance to tell them. The thought scared Vittay and kept her wary and awake though her body was tired and jetlagged. She knew it wasn't going to be long until she fell asleep and thought it wouldn't do much good to fall asleep just randomally in the sand and lie there just as easy prey for any lurking cannibals.
Vittay didn't bother making a special shelter but rather yanked a large leaf off one of the trees. A few small berries tumbled onto the floor beside her but none of them looked the right colour for eating. She grabbed more leaves and arranged them just in front of a tree into a blanket of sorts. Her back against the small tree, she started thinking about today's events...the eliminations...cannibals...and slowly, she gave into the fatigue and closed planned for was a holiday in Florida. She mumbled, "Good night." softly though she didn't expect anyone to hear her.

I don't think you realise... Jetty noticed that some survivors were building a shelter. She thought for a moment. Should I help? I would rather build my own. I'm not wild about the idea of sleeping with these strange adults. I mean, what if they try to molest me? This thought caused her to crack up. She was thinking like her friend Lee's mom again...so paranoid. That was obviously not going to happen. She had to trust these people, or else she'd never survive. "Hey guys," she said with a grin. "Could I help? I hope there's room - hopefully, I'll be alive and need someplace to sleep, too." ...that you're breaking my heart.

I don't think you realise... Jetty drew as near to the fire as she could. Everyone's faces looked so shadowy in the leaping light of the fire. "So, will there be space for me, or do you want me to make myself a spot somewhere else?" ...that you're breaking my heart.

"So, will there be space for me, or do you want me to make myself a spot somewhere else?" ...that you're breaking my heart. "You can stay with me, hun." Tig grinned. "I like it roomy, my shelter's plenty big enough for the both of us." She jerked her head in the direction of the tree she was sleeping under.
