"See? I tolds yeh!" She'd already mistaken Balthazar's cage for the Orly, even as she'd mentioned it. "Maybe these cages should be labeled! Or maybe I shoulds put something on yehr cage, like a sticker.."
She finally found Balthazar's cage, and settled the bird into it. Then she tugged out a single strand of her own hair, and tied it around the cage. Maybe it would help her find it, next time!

Freya wasn't wearing his shirt anymore, because she'd used it on the plushie she'd made of herself. She hoped that he wouldn't mind her collecting on his game regardless. She gave Sparrow a modest smile, making sure he wasn't busy before hopping up to redeem her win. kurotomato Token omfg tiny sparrow sticker why do you elude me SO HARDDDD

Helpful? Somehow he doubted what he had done had been all that helpful, but it was nice to hear it regardless. He grinned back at the boil and reached out to clasp his hand and give it a firm shake, though he was careful not to squeeze too hard. Zombie deathgrip could be a dangerous thing, sometimes. "I'm Alexander. I think..I've seen you around the school before but we've never formally met."

The last time the witch had chased a bird at Sparrow's booth, it had gone fairly dismal. But she remained undaunted, mostly because they were pretty cute and she liked to think that perhaps they might be playing with each other.
This time though, she decided to chase the one she hadn't yet, the one that looked as though it would have none of her nonsense.
All the more fun!
Which it would have been had the little Orly not immediately turn up its beak at her and flapped out of reach. Belladonna took a step toward it, only for Spectacles to take three away from her.

"Alright demon bird..." The witch murmured, not even bothering to try the 'get over here right now' voice. Or trick. That would have been silly. Instead she lunged forward and actually managed to startle him enough that he didn't fly away.
"Most excellent! You are rather charming, what with your scowling." Belladonna tittered as she happily skipped on over to the cages.

Now came the actually difficult part of this littler endeavor.
For whatever reason, Belladonna was totally useless when it came to cages for these birds. They all tricked her, made her think they belonged in another cage. Half the time when they did go in their proper cages she half thought they were just placating her so she'd leave them alone.
But oh no. Not Spectacles. The moment the witch stepped toward the cages and offered him the first one, he squawked angrily at her. With a shriek the witch stepped backwards and almost dropped the bird, but managed to hold on.

"Alright demon bird. You have to go into one of the cages..." Belladonna mumbled, rather liking calling the bird a demon regardless of whether he was or not.
It was funny!
And apparently it also worked, because Spectacles may or may not have rolled his eyes, but still fluttered into the third cage.
With a sigh the witch was done, glad to have that over with. At least it had gone much faster this time! Maybe she was getting better with them!
Or they were just tiring of her faster...

In any event the witch waved once more to Sparrow and flashed him a smile.
Not wanting to bother him further, she only waved to the birds.
"I may or may not be back... But if I am... I expect better from all of you." She told them imperiously, blew them each a kiss and skipped off on her merry way.

The phoenix was the shiniest, prettiest bird. Obviously Manyara could settle for nothing less! She stalked beneath its shining form once more, wondering who had let it out of the cage after she'd caught it before...
Fortunately, her prior practice had served her well, and she managed to capture the bird at once. Hah!

The bird didn't seem any more interested in going into Cage Three, but at least the Horseman wasn't shoving it into Cage Two anymore.
