Lana looked up and blinked. "Huh... I guess... I don;t mind..." she said, She realized tnhat somehow through all of this she just accepted this.
"When it first happened, it happened fast and I already looked... noticeable. I was unset. After my father kicked me out I was a mess. Mary found me crying on the street and brought me here, Knowing her and Jessie were like me made me feel better." she explained.
"Really, I didn't know what to think. How was I supposed to raise it myself? But... it's different. I can't.. not be happy about this... I can't really explain why." she said with a shrug. "I'm still a little worried about how to take care of it, but I'm excited. Happy." she said, smiling as she lovingly rubbing he belly.
"Is that weird?"

Matt listened to her story and nodded when she explained her circumstances. "No I don't think it's weird at all Lana. I think a part of you wanted to be a Mother. I think you'll make a good one..a-and...i-if you want.." He started to say looking away blushing.
"I-I-I could help raise your baby.." Mattew said his face a deep shade of crimson.

Lana blushed and smiled, taking his hand. "Are you sure? This is a big responsiblity." she said, not wanting to pressure him. however she could really use his help. Protection and a place to stay a part of all of that.

Matthew smiled happily to her. "It would be my pleasure. I don't mind one bit. Though where I live is kind of far off..on the next continent. Luckally it's near a beach." he chuckled a little. "It's where I go for solitude. Most of the time I'm traveling though. Still I think I can handle the responsability." he said givng her hand a kiss. "If no one else does..who will?"

Travis waddled back and flopped down on the couch with a bowl of ice cream, yelping as his tail bunched up behind him. Cursing softly under his breath, he scooted his tail out beneath him, slumping against the couch with his feet up and the bowl on his active belly.

"So, how are you adjusting to everything, Mr. Mom?" Jessie teased as she sat down next to Travis after placing her dirty dishes in the kitchen.

Lana nodded, rather subdued. "Yeah. I'd love somemore stew. I just hope there is some left with all them in there." she said with a giggle, pointing to the door with her thumb.

Travis looked over at Jessie and pulled the spoon from his mouth. "It's taken some getting used to," he said, "but oddly it's more been the kangarooness than having something growing inside me. I've felt mostly calm about that. It's really weird when I think about it." He looked down at his belly, feeling the slight movement of the creature stirring within.

Alfina was busy shoveling food in her mouth to bother paying attention to anything going on. She was starving, and the stew tasted great.

Grabbing her bowl he got up and gracefully bowed. "I shall return to you my dear beautiful sea maiden with some food to sate your hunger." he said with a tender smile before leaving. Luckally there was some left so he filled her bowl again, though it wasn't as hot as before.
He had to leave it to Jessie, she was a darn good cook. He was full though, and gracefully held onto his bowl. He would wash it later, along with Lana's. Jessie shouldn't have to do everything herself! She'd already given everone a safe place to stay.
Returning he handed the bowl to Lana and smile. "I have returned fair Princess! Sorry to keep you waiting but I had to slay a dragon for this dish." He said with a chuckle. "Lucky for you there was some left. Are you feeling any better?" he said bending down and feeling your forehead. "Well at least your fever's gone." Matthew stated looking into her eyes, their faces a bit closer now than they had been before.

"Isn't though? Before I never really wanted to have kids, and now I'm loving every little kick." Jessie said with a smile as she looked down while rubbing her belly. "To be honest, I'm a little jealous of the other girls around here that have more than just twins in there. I've still got a space rock sitting on my porch that I'm tempted to touch again just to fill myself up some more." she said with a sheepish little giggle. "I don't know if it's me or the hormones but I think I'm high on being pregnant." she joked.

Travis laughed dismissively. "That's crazy! And yet, well... We can't really have much worse happen to us..." He rubbed his belly, feeling the tautness beneath the fur. "It might be worth taking a look..."
