Takehitsu was inside the four chamber way down below. The four chamber was highly defended and very different from that most people would thing. Alike to a gigantic plus sign only the center more hallways were only wide enough for one person. The rooms branched out then into 20 foot high and 40 foot wide square rooms. In their centers were gates. Each one with a different destination. The North room was connected to Heaven with the orb he had received long ago still firmly locked in place. The Southern room and gate went to Hell. The never-dying flame he had acquired was it's piece that catalyzed the gate to the realm. The East gate's destination was not sealed but it was not on. There was a purpose for this. Takehitsu's unfinished gate which he could now finish after living lifetimes in several dimensions he now could finish the first gate he was trying to build. The West gate was where he had come through. It linked to one other dimension but that one had a different Facility that was merely a middle dimension. That Dimension had no life no existence nothing. Whatever lived there at one time erased all life and literally wiped out evolution in every phase. No plants, stars, gasses... It was all gone. Just large masses of metal and rock. Takehitsu had made a large facility there and used it as a middle zone for things. This gate now thrummed down and was closed and turned off.

With his facility now operating here he could continue his original plan was to return. Then it changed to wanting to show Inferno his true home. How gruesome and war torn it was. Something that spawned weapons like him as easily as it consumed them. Now he had begun to wonder if it was a good idea to even ever open that gate. Considering if they ever found their way through it and got past his defenses, which were among the best ever made for his time and technology, then everything that showed him life and more meaning to killing and being a weapon. Well it would all die. He didn't want that so he was seriously questioning even opening it but for now he had other things to do. He walked into the center of the large plus sign. There was no visible staircase at all. Rather A liquid ghantak fell upon him and then went up and he was gone. Several floors higher he was above the ground level and walked into what he would call a COC or command operations center. There was a large spherical machine with no entrance but alike to the other it was a liquid ghantak that took him in and then inserted mechanical bits into his flesh making the entire facility a part of his body. The process was excruciatingly painful and also required a mentality far beyond the humans of this era. Some of his machines had gone out on their own and done things. He had given them freedom after all within the animal limitations of their design. near the border of his base there was a guest. Takehitsu would welcome the person but he detected a group of rogue spiders. The metallic spiders where three foot in size and 12 of them were nearing the quest alike to prey. They had been killing the previous guests and repopulating using the living flesh as a catalyst of sorts.

This was actually a brilliant ploy for them but they where giant rogue defense drones. In fact now that Takehitsu was onto it he found most of his facility was taken over by rogue machines. This was not a good day. He began to wonder how this would happen. Before he could think on that though he exited the COC cockpit and ran for the entrance hopefully he could arrive in time to help this new guest. After all he had no idea the power of ghantak or it's machine weapons.

(Near Zenreal)

The electric current would clasp into the metal then puff upward in aq small puff of steam. This was vaporized water molecules in the air that were super heated from his attack. There was not even a burn mark upon the ghantak. This was because way in the future when the metal called ghantak is invented , it revolutionizes everything. Simple to make. But harder than anything previous to it. Has such a high mass and density that it doesn't conduct electrical currents of almost any form. The only currents it conducts is an man made energy that was invented several years after ghantak was. This energy lead a second technological breakthrough in weaponry and the everyday life. However the metal was not without it's flaws. Just because the metal itself was highly resistant to essentially everything did make anything made of it or that which utilized it impervious to damage.

The leading spider unit was actually four foot in size where the others ranged from two and a half foot to three. This was because these metallic spiders had a method to eating and growing just like other living creatures. But they were machine and thus they did not have an age limit. When Takehitsu first made them their purpose was not to be destructive. They were small roughly a centimeter. They where to spread the ghantak territory to 150 miles from the pyramid which they did. However they adapted afterward and began to do more after he left. Alike 94% of his facility they went rogue. They did not destroy other machines but rather living creatures and plants. The area around Takehitsu's domain used to be a thriving forest. The rogue machines destroyed and ate them.

Three of the spiders where to act as a decoy and they crawled twenty feet in front of Zenreal but appeared to not be interested in him and move from his right frame of view to his left then leave his view behind a ridge. While this occurred five more walking with spider stealth approached from the rear in a Half moon formation. Then on his left where the three original where no longer visible was only one but it was hiding behind a ridge. On his right where the final two also hidden inside of a metallic tree. The boss was actually a decent distance away and was doing something with a ghantak thread. This thread served the same purpose as webbing but was made of ghantak. the spiders had their food in sight. More power awaited them after a good feast.

Laphiette could still feel the warmth on her cheek from Jace Mythren's kiss. It had been several weeks but she had grown rather close to him. They had to separate for a time to accomplish some personal goals. This however left her feeling rather torn. Her destination was somewhere on the other side of a desert. She was not wanting to leave him but it was necessary. She was walking through this desert now and looking around. There was a lot of what reminded her of the ice realm up ahead. That was odd she didn't remember anything like this supposed to be on the map. She pulled out her map and looked at it again. She was never good at these things anyway but after looking at it again for awhile she began to feel disheartened. Did she go the wrong way? This was a terrible dilemma for her.

User Image

She began to walk closer to it and came over a sand dune to see a person standing near the edge of the solid sheet of whatever it was. She couldn't tell if it was ice, metal r something else. But she did see something moving up behind the person that looked the same as the landscape. There was a small wind however and it was blowing sand in her face so she couldn't see all too well. She decided to head toward this person and was about to run to see if those things were on his side or not.. but her foot sank in the sand and instead of running down the dune she began rolling down. She let out a yelp and rolled face first.

Zenreal Tellanan

Zenreal waited as the spiders gathered, for while he could attack at range he was not a ranged specialist Carefully he let the bow vanish focusing on the world around him. The scraping of metal on metal no matter how alien the metal was an obvious noise especially when it tried to imitate the movements of a living creature. Around him was sand, before him the remains of a metal forest, a wasteland, from several directions he could sense movement in the sands. All the same Zenrai waited, eyes partially closed, he felt like a fly in a spiders web, but these spiders would find instead a wasp.

In his right hand he tested a theory creating a small throwing star of destructive magic. The blade though small was one of his searing spell blades. It wasn’t a spell of fire, heat and light, instead the spell was like the burning power of a solar wind which could burn all to ash even rock and metal. It was a small echo of the power his people had used to break the hold of ice on their planet. The power that was responsible for birthing the Ashriel, and as he flicked the star at one of the spiders it was the power he intended to use to burn this sneaky threat to Ash.

Zenreal suspected that this technology would be beyond standard in its durability, but when searing world consuming fire washes between the molecules of a substance it tends to turn to ash. Ash is a concept though, the dissolution of matter from a solid to a molecular composite like sand. On earth ash is carbon, on Tellanan its magic, here and now he would make it whatever the substance these spiders were crafted of. One test would tell what strategy would work best, and that test was already in the air aiming at the last spider scuttling beyond a ridge.

Nuri kept her face straight, neither approving nor disapproving his technique. It wasn't bad, actually pretty clever, but in her opinion he incorporated too much martial arts. She knew why, but she a true master could do it without moving a muscle, and while distracted. It was all a matter of where you place and output your energy. She thought for a moment, debating her next test.

After a moment's thought she gave a very small smile, remembering what her father had done to teach her the elements. He always put her in danger, so that her potential showed. That didn't work for most people, but this boy was at least eager to please.

Nuri backed up and bowed, getting into a specific stance, the ground under them trembling for a moment and then passing up the mountain. "You say you have a problem with elements at a longer range?" By now the mountain was grumbling. "There are animals that live on that mountain. The farther up you stop this avalanche, the less of them die." There was a pop somewhere at the top of the mountain and snow came flying off the peak, as if there was an explosion under the snow, and the snow came raining down. She stood back up straight as the snow displaced and came crashing down in waves, like a tsunami of ice going with the gravity instead of against it. She hoped he had enough raw power to stop the avalanche, and what she didn't mention to him is that she was already shielding the few animals that actually did go up that mountain. The tribes needed something to hunt, and even though they destroyed her village, she was loyal to her race.

((Kinda crappy but.. i just needed to get this done.. sorry it took so long.. working two jobs.. and that's the HIGH point of my life right now.))

Laphiette
User Of Ice

Location: Near the metal place

Thoughts:I hate's deserts

Laphiette rolled down the dune of sand rather poorly. She definitely did not fall gracefully this time and she blamed the sand. Sand was a natural weakness to all forms of ice. It was a rather negative element for ice. It got stuck in it and weakened it and made it warmer than it should be. As such Laphiette always had issues in the sand. Such her actions reflected. She however once she came to a thudding end to her fall pushed herself up frantically. She was really close to the mystery person and even closer to the gigantic metal spiders that were sneaking up behind him. She didn't know what compelled her but she felt like the spiders where not normal and that them coming from the back like that was something Jace would have run out to destroy them. He still was in her mind and heart and she knew it was effecting her but she had accepted it.

User Image

She summoned both her swords and slashing them both sent a small wall of ice out of the sand under them in a glacial form of attack. The hoped the ice went through them and destroyed them. However she would not end there she watched them closely to see what these spiders would do. Hopefully this would help the strange man. If it wasn't a desert she could have just frozen them instantly.

Takehitsu was not going to get anywhere near the fight before it was either over or too late. Regardles he was heading in that direction however he was stopped at the entrance of his own home. Humanoid ghantak weapons he created who had gone rogue where now treating him like an invader. This was going to get ugly and he would not arrive likely now.

The spiders saw the one on the ridge the first three went behind take some sort of attack. It went into the spider and disrupted several of it's functions. The Suukanroto swirled and cause an explosion that would look something like an artillery shell blowing up a fifty foot area. This meant being near them when they blew up was not a safe plan. The original three jumped over the crater and charged at incredible speed the two in the tree did similar while the boss one made a net and was actually flying above the fight to drop ontop of them but was not in range yet.

The five that wher ethrown by the ice attack rolled around and got tossed. Two fell and jumped at Zenreal's back making for their initial assault hoping at this point he would be overwhelmed by their numbers and speed. They were after all only spider level intelligence. The other three turned and jumped at this mysteriuous new prey. It appeared more fragile then the other but it also disrupted their attack. It would die and br eaten.

Zenreal Tellanan

User Image

Zenreal moved a fluid reaction to the sudden flurry of magic, in his hand a shadow chain soul chain began to form. With one rotating flick of his body he spun it out and up as he lengthened and willed the chain under his control making it akin to a living weapon, oh the advantages of infusing your consciousness into your crafted weapons. Two coils rolled down the swinging strike, if the spiders could not find a way to dodge in mid air the chain would snap into each one twice, like quick taps. The strikes would throw the spiders away and as they hit the ground they would be bound in place wrapped tight in chains of shadow.

That left one still approaching from ahead, and two leaping from behind, their attacks at any given moment forming a closing triangle. A plan formed quick as light, and he moved throwing the chain out forming loops to entrap the spider charging from ahead as he made a twisting leap, He had no idea if the chains of shadow would hold these things, but he sincerely hoped so at least temporarily. If the chains worked three of the five attacking him would be immobilized while he put distance between himself and the other two.

Still the problem with fighting on the sand would prove obvious as Zenreal landed lightly upon the side of the dune. Still the sand began to slip and move and Zenreal's balance became as compromised as the integrity of the dune. As he slipped the chain flowed back into a small dagger tucked into the inside of his bracer. A long roll sent Zenreal to the bottom of the dune, leaving him bruised and worse for wear, and in untenable position if his shadow chains failed. He would be exactly between the five spiders and far to close to the strange ghantak fields.

It is the destiny of all things to fade, and perish.

But, sometimes, forces beyond the realm of fate alter the course of a place…or a person…so drastically that nothing

Not the endless flow of the ages…

Nor the destructive powers of humanity..

Can stand firm against them.

Thus, somehow, a relic of the ancient world finds his way into the tumultuous storm of the new; And brings with him a seed of something more. A religion long forgotten, far older than the feeble faiths that brought forth this calamity. A serene, selfless, belief guided by a series of laws; And bound in bones hardened by tireless dedication.

His coming was not some great affair, and the earth did not tremble at his sight. It was no more than a whisper, followed by the metallic tinkling of six rings and the rustling of cloth.

The man, who looked the better portion of fifty, stepped from the shadows of some ruined street. He was roughly six feet and an inch tall, weighing near 170 pounds. His hair was a memory, and the bare scalp now sported two crimson dots in the midst of his forehead. One higher than the other just above his bushy brow. Bright blue eyes, like a flash of lightning, were set beneath that. The gaze he offered almost seeming to look beyond, maybe even through, whatever lay before him. His wizened features were somewhat concealed by a thick black beard; but matched perfectly his poise, stern and strong.

His attire was fairly ornate, mostly oriental in style and cut. He wore a large brass necklace, each connecting piece like miniature golden gongs. Hung in the midst of that, a larger circular pendant which resembled a tiger with claws sunk deep into the sides of a multifaceted ruby. A multicolored robe, woven in varying shades of purple and tan, topped by layers of belts and baubles served well the purpose of concealing his physic from view. His arms hidden beneath voluminous sleeves that left only the hands, and the wrist portion of some leather covering beneath the cloth, visible. However, caught in his mighty grip, was a Khakkhara staff…the source of the jingling metal…and a set of rosary beads. The first held firmly in the right hand, while the latter dangled from his left. Beyond this, only his brown tabi boots were visible, making each step with a practiced certainty that bordered on the supernatural.

Behold, Dithakar Yodsuwan; Grandmaster Monk of the Bhavacakra.

As Janus' body fell limp over his shoulder Oni would only smile as he tilted his shoulder down to let Janus' body fall to the ground. Reaching up with his newly reformed arm Oni would pull the dagger from his neck and let it fall to the ground as his wound healed almost instantly. Kneeling over the fallen warrior Oni would wrap his hand around the mans throat just waiting for him to wake up. He would turn his attention away from Janus for a moment and look to Kira.

"Great now I'm traveling with a wet dog. Don't you have any impulse control?"
PostPosted: Sat Sep 08, 2012 4:43 pm

Kira would shake the water off and stare at oni. While the man slid offto the side, figured something like that would happen, oni wasn't the type to leave openings, even tho he made a clear tell hopefully that information wont be needed ever. But in either case kira would stand near oni and put his hands on his hips.

"Naw can't control it, tho after burning something away I odda be fine. But I rather be a wet dog then some furball that licks themselves clean."

Sabriel Megalith

[ Fairy Realms > Rosewood ]

Sabriel was bored, there was no other way to put it. Ordinarily High Council meetings fascinated her as they were a chance to learn how the realm she would one-day rule over was run, but today however, listening to the little old male fairy standing at the return across the room from her was the last thing she wanted to do.
In fact, not only was the fairy princess bored, she was also missing the company of some of her closest friends.
It had been approximately two fairy years since she'd last been to the human realms and in the mean time she'd forgotten to keep track of how many human years may have passed since she'd last visited. Of course, falling out of contact with many of friends didn't help and The Megalith could almost turn itself… Though having left Krim, Hito and Kam in charge hadn't hurt.

A heavy sigh caught the attention of her mother - The Queen - who raised a questioning eye at her daughter. In response the younger fairy discreetly signed her desire to leave. The queen gave her daughter a small nod of approval causing Sabriel to carefully and quietly vacate her chair and slip out through one of the chamber's many side doors.

For every 12 months in a year, the Fairy Court spent five months in it's summer castle of Solas, five months in it's winter citadel of Dorchadas and the final two months traveling between the two places visiting smaller cities along the way.
At present, the court had been in Dorchadas for a little over a month and while Sabriel enjoyed her room on the outward edge of a cliff-face looking out over a lake filled valley, she still missed the Megalith Castle with all of it's unique hustle and bustle and her office at The Arena of Fighters.
Maybe it was time for her to take a break from the Fey Court (and her mother's constant attempts at match-making) for a trip back to the human realms.
Facing her ornate full length mirror, Sabriel smoothed her hands over the heavy blue fabric of her skirt. Fashion in the fairy realm was considerably different from fashion in the human realm. In the human realm, work clothes consisted of a smart suit, visits to the AoF were whatever took her fancy and jeans and a t-shirt were a must for when she needed a break. Here in the fairy realms however, she was almost always confined to long dresses and corsets; fashion she'd only wear in the human realms if she was going to a ball or dressing to impress.
Standing a respectable distance behind Sabriel were the two maids assigned to watch her every move and help her where required. She had long ago made it a game for herself to see how many times a day she could loose the pair. On the bright side though, they were a far better alternative to the armed guard that had initially been posted to her. It had taken a considerable amount of pleading to convince her parents to remove them.

Chewing her bottom lip thoughtfully, the young fairy studied her reflection. By fairy standards she was blessed with good genetics in the looks department but failed height-wise as she came in at least head shorter than average. In the human realm, her height was often considered a disadvantage, as despite her womanly figure, she was almost always mistaken as a child at first glance.
Looking back at her maids, she very quickly made up her mind. She was going back to the human realms.
"Miræde, send a messenger to my parents to advise them I am returning to the human realms in the morning. Lizriel, can you start helping me pack?"
The maids dropped into elegant curtsies before scurrying off to do their assigned tasks.
"Oh and Liz? I'm keeping it light!!"

The next morning found Sabriel standing with her healer's kit and a large bag at the entrance to the portal to the human realm with both of her parents in attendance.
Unaware of what waited for her on the other side, she had dressed in a white sun dress with black leggings and black flat shoes. Her jet black hair was pulled into a braid that was laced with a white ribbon.

"Do you know where you're going?"asked the king sweeping her into a tight hug.
"Well judging by the reports I read last night, time on the other side hasn't passed as it should have, so I'm going to a place called Rosewood as I'm hesitant to trust going to the places I used to… Anyway, Lucas has always said that if I need to find him to travel there and getting a message to him shouldn't be too hard…"
Sabriel bit her lip with uncertainty. She'd never been to Rosewood before, and contacting Lucas had always involved using Inka, her pet raven, or simply just waiting for him to turn up at The Arena Of Fighters… But long gone were those days it seemed.
"Lucas?"
"The half angel I've told you about."
"Will you be safe there?"
"I don't see why I shouldn't be. From what I've read about it over night, it sounds like a safe harbor."
"In that case, I can only wish you safe travel my daughter."
"May the gods shine on you father."
With that, Sabriel stepped through the portal after hugging both of her parents one last time before appearing on a bustling street corner blinking rapidly to adjust her sapphire blue eyes from the dim light of the forest to the bright city street.

Should Sabriel inquire to the whereabouts of the one called Lucas, an imperfect angel, - or anything having to do with a heavenly realm in fact - she would find herself sent back and forth across the city from person to person, essentially picking up no useful information since no one really believed in that stuff anymore.

However, should she persist, she would eventually be sent to someone who did have a clue to her seemingly long lost companion. The man's name was Citel, and he worked in an office running towards the wealthier section of the city. It was a two story building with a neon sign above it that plainly read, "Rosewood's Advanced Technical Support"...or RATS for short. Upon entering she would see a large "L"-shaped oak desk that ran across 6 feet before stretching back a massive 15. Upon the 6 foot section that rested parallel to the door was a standard computer monitor, telephone, business cards, and a pen cup filled with normal ballpoint pens. It was very orderly and one would notice that there wasn't any pictures or items that were personal effects.
All business.

However, the 15 foot section that ran alongside the wall was absolutely littered with papers, notepads, ink, receipts, files, paperclips, pencils, erasers, and buried under it all was a printer that was currently printing off some more documents. . .

Should Sabriel indeed come to this place and enter into the room, a man sitting in a rolling chair would casually glance up at her from behind the computer screen and speak.

"May I help you?"

Takehitsu was at the doors there was a small group of humanoid robots in front of him. 21 by his count and they charged swinging blades of ghantak. They were his robotic weapons it would thus be his duty to remove them. He knew every strength ans weakness of these robots. As such they would not be too difficult to destroy. He darted low his katanas forming in mid attack leaving the first two hacked in half. With a quick spring in his foot he would jump off the falling bodies and execute his Dragons maw attack. Doing a triple flip he executed several attacks at an extremely high speed. This resulted in five more robotic assailants to be destroyed. The next part was simple his cloak had been releasing strings the entire time. As he landed he committed to spinning in a 360 degree this didn't kill any of the robots now surrounding him but they had to block for a minute. Threads of ghantak from his cloak flew out around them then came to life. The threads where sharp however like tiny tentacle blades. The threaded weapons easily disposed of the remaining robots before they could react to it even being an attack. This was all negative to Takehitsu as his goal was to get to the spider group and the people currently being assaulted by them.

Fortune would strike however and one of the very few weapons he had made also his biggest weapon was immune to the corruptions the others had that made them loose their original programming. It was in the form of a dragon but was made all of ghantak. It came through the ground out of it's hangar and grabbed Takehitsu flying in the direction of the spiders. This of course would look rather bad to anyone around who could see the beast. Dragons were known to make areas of burned, frozen or a territory alike to their element. So maybe this beast was responsible for the metallic territory.

Meanwhile three of the spiders had been immobilized. Three were approaching the female behind a wall of ice that separated Zenral and the Female Zenreal had seemingly fallen in the sand this was perfect for the spiders while the two that were not pinned down move in closer now out or range to commit an attack the largest one was now in range. It cut it's threads and fell directly on top of the man attempting to stick two fangs that where as sharp as swords into the man.

Sabriel Megalith

[ Rosewood City > RATS Office Building ]

After being shunted around the city like a bizarre pin ball, Sabriel was now standing outside an office in the more affluent end of Rosewood bathed in mid-afternoon sun.
The sign above the door of the building didn’t generate much hope in her. First of all the acronym of “RATS” wasn’t overly assuring as it brought to mind images of street children running an elaborate scam, and second of all, how on earth was technical support going to help her? She didn’t live in the city, so she didn’t have any problems with power, or internet…
Reaching into her healer’s kit she pulled out a tiny mirror that she used to check her appearance to ensure that her hair and make-up were all still in one piece before putting it away and straightening her clothes. There was no way that she was going to present herself to her one last chance to find Lucas looking like she’d just been pulled backwards through a hedge.
Stepping inside, she allowed her eyes to readjust from the bright light of outside, to the dimmer artificial light of the office.

The room’s décor reminded her somewhat of her own office with its big desk. The clutter however left her itching to jump in and start organizing it. If there was one thing that annoyed Sabriel more than anything else, it was a disorganized office. In her own office, her big white desk was home to her computer, printer, in and out tray, phone, business cards, diary and a Japanese tea-cup with a pretty floral pattern that had been reclaimed as a penholder. There was also a silver picture frame that was home to four photos. In general, anything that wasn’t meant to be on her desk never stayed on it for long.
Wrapping one hand around the strap of her kit, she dragged her eyes away from the clutter and smiled at the man addressing her.
”I’m hoping that you can. I’m looking to contact a gentleman I’ve known for quite some time called Lucas. He also goes by the name of Light if it’s any help.”
She was ashamed to admit it, but if the man asked her for Lucas’s last name, she would be at a loss to answer him. For all of her years knowing him, Sabriel had failed to learn Lucas’s last name and now she was kicking herself over it… Then again, there was always the possibility that Lucas couldn’t remember her full name of Sabrielian, as she always insisted on people calling her Sabriel…

Secretly, the fairy crossed her toes in her shoes and hoped to the gods above that the man behind the desk actually knew who she was talking about and could actually help her.
Then again, knowing her luck, it was quite possible he would stare at her like she was speaking Fairy before shepherding her on to the next person just like the people before him had.
