Once he finds a tree to lay under he quickly goes to it and sits under it.

"Well..." I say in thought. "I should go first. Um... well, I grew up an only child, living with my mom and dad. I never went to school, as my mother was basically a private tutor for me and I liked reading, so I sorta taught myself as well. But... that's kinda why I'm so shy... it's just because I've never really had any social interaction before. So yeah... it was just the 3 of us living mostly by ourselves. I'd say it was a pretty good life, but then our village was attacked... and we were forced to abandon our home. We were all good at protecting ourselves, so we made it out fine, but we spent a while on the run until we eventually ended up here. That's pretty much all there is to it... not much, I know. I'm sure you've had a more interesting past." I say methodically and purposefully, trying to make sure I don't leave out anything important.

I had been paying close attention to Lance, as I was waiting eagerly for him to tell me his past. So when Steve drops out of the tree, I am taken completely by surprise, letting out a short shriek before passing out.

after a few seconds, I wake up and look angrily at Steve. "Steve, you son of a- ...lizard. Stop doing that unless it's tactically necessary!" I yell at him angrily.

I glare at Steve seriously. "Hey, I'm sure you find it fun and all, but despite my abilities, I still quite dislike being frightened like that. So be glad I'm not using my heightened magical prowess to cryo-freeze you with some English Beef!" I say angrily at first, but lighten up towards the end.
