Rosemary watched Shadow with a gentle look. She quietly ran a hand through her hair. "Well, if you need a moment I'll give you one." she said, giving a small smile. "Just remember what I said." She turned on her heel and began to go back.

~~ Shadow closed his eyes, holding the object close to him. He stayed like this a moment, before slipping the chain around his neck and hiding the locket underneath his shirt. "I have to go save Rouge. And Cream and Tails." said the mutant softly, walking past Rosemary, "Before there's any more unecessary deaths..."

(xD I love how there's a random battle in the background and Cream and Shadow are just having this random convo. And that's exactly true. What in the HELL is that?!)
Rosemary stopped and watched Shadow pass her. She looked at him for a moment before sighing. She didn't say anything, mainly because he'd still do that. Rosemary closed her eyes, "Don't do anything stupid, please." she said under her breath. She went back to the others.
Desiree was still standing off on her own, thinking to herself.
Lillian was still on her guilt trip and hadn't moved much.
Zach was near the window, rolling another one of the metal balls in his hand.
Seemed like it would be an uneventful wait if Shadow carried out his plans.

Vanilla watched Shadow pass the living room. She smiled softly, then looked at Desiree and Zach. "Don't you think you should go help him? Not fighting, of course."

Desiree and Zach both looked at Vanilla, each of them a bit surprised. It was Desiree who spoke up. "Like he'd let us," she said, uncrossing her arms. "He's a bull-headed person."
Zach giggled at the word, bull-headed.
Desiree rolled her eyes at him but sighed. "All the same I'm bored." She cast an apologetic smile at Vanilla. "Not that I don't appreciate your hospitality." She nodded her head and motioned to Zach. "Come on bro, let's go help."
Zach stuffed the metal ball in his pocket and nodded, trying to contain his excitement. Finally he'd get to do something.
"Hey Shadow, we're going to tag along. But we'll leave the heroic deeds to you," Desiree called. Zach trailed after her.
Rosemary gave all of them a smile. "Be careful guys." she told them.

Half of Shadow wanted to tell them to stay here, but the other half knew he'd need help. "Fine. Just don't get in my way." he told them, leaving the house. ~~

Zach grinned hugely. "Fine by me. Don't think I'd wanna anyways," he said.
Desiree rolled her eyes. "Not worth it in the first place," she mumbled.
Zach rolled his eyes. Desiree's way of saying, "I'd get in the way if I had any interest in you." which also meant, "I have no interest in men like you." He didn't get how her mind worked. Somehow, she always related her work to the topic of men.
Desiree blinked and turned her violet colored eyes on her younger brother. She was already getting worried about him. But she always knew she wouldn't have to.
They both followed Shadow out of the house.

Shadow flicked off all the helicopter controls, then jumped out. They'd reached the base, and had landed. So far, no harm had come to them. Of course, that just made Shadow all the more wary. ~~

Desiree pushed Zach out of the way and shot out of the helicopter. She stretched out her shaky limbs. "Every time," she muttered irritably, blowing a strand of hair from her face.
Zach hopped out, his face serious. "So, what exactly are you planning on doing?" he asked Shadow, giving the hedgehog mutant a look. "If I can get a general idea then Desiree and I should be able to find a way to help it along."
Desiree didn't argue. When Zach was like this, he could be counted on. And someone you wouldn't want to mess with.
(Surprising, right? xD Zach, this childish twenty-five year old, is a very serious man on the inside. Yet another character I have who is obsessed with their training... >>)

Shadow looked over his shoulder at them. "My plan is to barge in there and kick a**. What else would I do?" He looked back ahead, and began walking.
Meanwhile, within the prison section of G.U.N headquarters, a familiar two-tailed fox was knelt down next to a sealed air vent in the wall, a black hairpin in hand, picking at the screws on all four sides.
"Come on, Tails, you can do it!" encouraged a bunny-girl seated beside him.
"Almost....got it!" The metal covering fell off with a clammer, making both of them wince. They glanced towards the door, staying silent. Hearing nobody, Cream beamed at Tails. "Good work, Tails!"
"Thanks, Cream. Now let's go, before Metal or Doll shows up." Cream nodded. She crawled into the vent. Tails followed, but not before lifting the cover back into place. He left it unscrewed, seeing as it would waste time. The two kids made their way down the dark, cold tunnel. ~~

Zach shrugged. He was more strategic. Shadow was more impulsive.
Desiree rolled her eyes. Typical. "Well, we'll hang out in the background." she said, waving a hand nonchalantly.
Zach shook his head. "No. We'll see if we can find anything." He looked at Shadow again. "Would they keep the others in a seperate room? Could you be capable of causing a distraction while we get them out?" he asked. In his mind he had a more detailed plan. But then again, dealing with Shadow wasn't very easy.

~~ (Ugh....Damn you, Sonic X...now I can't imagine Cream and Tails in any other voices but what you give them...Mainly the incredibly, impossibly high voice for Cream...=_=)
"Hell if I know where they keep them. We aren't even sure if they're alive, remember?" Shadow said, glancing back at Zach for a moment. The hole in the door he'd made earlier remained, so he simply stepped through that, ending up in the control center, like before.

Cream and Tails continued making their way through the vent.
"How do you know where we're going, Tails?" asked Cream, looking back at him.
"I'm using this portable device I created while we were stuck in our cell to hack into the G.U.N security connections, allowing me access to the deactivators of each lazer, rocket, and all the gadgets Metal switched to life once more, since Shadow shut them down. This also intercepted the video recorders in every corridor, so nobody except me can veiw them."
Cream blinked. "Uh....."
Tails smiled slightly. "Sorry. I didn't mean to go all geeky on you, there. Basically, I made a hand-held computer and I turned off all the bad things, and only I can look at the tapes of the cameras."
"Oh! Okay."

Metal stood in the Commander's office, watching the monitors on the wall. All they showed was static. Needless to say, he was not a happy cyborg. "Damned brats hacked the security..."
He picked up the same remote from before, pressing a button. A microphone arose from the desk. "DOLL! Did you fix the effing thing, yet?!"
"Calm yourself, Metal." replied Doll calmly through the speaker, "I'm almost finished."
"Well, hurry it up!" The microphone slid back under the metal table's surface. Metal glared back at the monitors again, growling quietly under his breath. "I swear, bat-girl, I have the right mind to MURDER you right now...Lucky Doll wants to keep you as bait..."
(And I thought SHADOW had a temper...O_o) ~~

(OxO I'm a bit disturbed at the moment...I was on my Photobucket getting some images for a posting layout and I saw the most disturbing thing EVER. And it involved Shadow. o.o I couldn't believe it. How that THAT pop up when you have a search related to Naruto?)
Zach frowned. Well, there went his strategic skills. Either way he had to be ready. He cast an annoyed look at Shadow's back before following him through the hole. "Better safe then sorry," he muttered under his breath.
Desiree smirked at her brother. It was amusing when he was serious and annoyed. Had he been his usual self he would be pouting. Now he was just getting a bit pissed. He didn't like impulsiveness. She knew that much. She flipped her hair and followed after the men.
