It made sense since they were twins, but still. Switching, well, worlds is a pretty huge step. "You like it better here, then?" he asked, a bit surprised. He could only imagine what a whole civilization under the sea could look like, and to prefer solid ground?

Running-Bear rolled his eyes. It was still part of it no matter how she looked at it. "Not all plants need magic. I prefer not using magic. Using magic all the time is only a sign of weakness." The man commented. Magic was unbalanced so he didn't use it often.

Magic was unbalanced so he didn't use it often. looking on abit more "maybe thats the issue where I am from we dont have things like this and everything is run by magic "she responds pointing abit at the mint and other plants ."the closest we have is the fungi and mushrooms "

John thought about what it would be like to have just Fungi. It didn't seem very fun. "Where I come from there are may plants and magic is only used at a limit. Everyone is so friendly and the other legendary creatures are nice to one another will save for a trickster or two."

 "Yes." answered the siren, as she couldn't imagine having left her home without her closest friend. The two may not have been identical twins, and they acted seperately, but they were still the best of sisters. Nodding again, she replied, "Yes...It's very interesting. I like the land, as long as I can go to the sea now and then." She did enjoy the fact that this school was on an island, allowing for days to go swimming.

It must come as naturally as breathing, he thought dreamily. It must be a sight to see many sirens swimming in the depths of the ocean. He began to daydream, painting a picture in his mind of what the siren's home must look like. //ooc: Sorry, a bit of writer's block....

Elija's agreement came quickly, but what drew Aurora's curiousity was the expression he held after. His gaze looked distant, as if he was thinking of something. Smiling, she kept talking, asking him, "Can you swim?"

Steadily getting through the maze of the lush garden, Maiara was relieved to find a wooden bench to sit on and give a break to her legs and her side. They were getting better; she could walk further without a lot of issue, but still frustratingly weak in comparison to what she was used to. Cursed poison. Taking a few herbs from the pockets inside her jackets, she nibbled on the bitter plants, hoping to keep some of the pain at bay. Too bad they wouldn't help her solve her relationship troubles. That would be all on her lonesome for now. Resting her hands in her lap, she watched the bugs and small critters roam about in the garden, through the vines and bushes and flowers. Maiara could only wonder who took care of such a large place; she almost never saw anybody out here and so it served as a quiet area for her to think and be alone.

Jin entered the room. He looked around and smiled. "It's going to be a lot more peaceful here then back home." He told himself as he walked around. He stopped when he saw a girl on a bench near by. He walked over to her and kept his smile on. "Hello there. Do you mind if I sit here?" He asked with his British accent showing though his fake accent. "Names Jin Alester. Pleased to meet you."

With a flash of golden blond hair a girl rounded the bench and hid behind Maiara. "Princess, Princess where are you?" several voices called out as the girl waited. Soon the voice past. The elf girl got up and sighed. "Sorry to use as a place to hide. I didn't want to be around my attendants any longer. They're driving me nuts and I needed a little free time."
