Daniel blinked and vaguely looked down at his feet, glancing up several times in the short amount of time it took for Gavin to realize what he'd asked. A hazy look of uncertainty came over him as he dimly nodded, glad that Gavin wasn't all too concerned with his cheek. He was still worried that the drummer might have a nasty bruise later, but it seemed like the younger man wasn't bothered by it. Still, it did upset him that someone had been so violent against the band mate. Why Ian had been so outraged in the first place completely mystified the short blond, but it wasn't his place to ask about Gavin's private relationships.
His lids fluttered a bit, especially when Gavin suddenly apologized. Daniel was so used to Gavin's aloofness that he was entirely taken aback by the open show of concern from the other male. Tilting his head, he shrugged thin shoulders. It'd been an accident and he wasn't hurt or anything. "Um, well, yes, but it's fine, really... I'm okay." He murmured, lamely, as he tried to clear his throat of its nervous lump. As Gavin turned to look at him again, he tried to smile a bit and nearly managed it. His nerves were simply out of control at the moment, between having missed most of Gavin's band playing and figuring out the rest of the things in his head.
"You... you don't mind?" He asked, but rather rhetorically. He was already following after Gavin as the other male made toward the stage, anticipation quickening his hear beat as he carefully stepped up onto it. Though very familiar with being on a stage, it still made him a bit jumpy. The bar was beginning to clear out, but Daniel still cast a glance over the crowd, blue-green eyes shy. "Can I... do anything to help?" Daniel queried softly, looking on as Gavin began collecting the various pieces that made up his drum set. As he waited, he ran a hand over the top of a piano sitting near by, absorbing the cool feeling of its glossy surface.

◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘ ┌─────────────────────────────┐It was true. Apologizing like that was probably a bit out of character for him, but he wasn't concerned. After all, he didn't fly into the person he bumped into. The main reason he did that, was probably to make sure he was right about guessing whom he ran into like that. Plus, he responded in Japanese without thinking. It was possible that Daniel might start asking about that. It's not that it would bother him; he just gets a little irked when he subconsciously speaks in Japanese like that. Maybe it was better to run into Daniel instead of some other people.
Then again, maybe he was taken slightly out of character because of the whole incident. His thoughts started to drift to something Ian said. He barely heard the blonde's question. "No," was all he said this time. Gavin's voice might have sounded a bit distant. His eyes definitely had that look to them. The drummers mind was no longer in the bar. It was remembering something from the past. Even though he was spacing out, he still continued to put things away.
What he saw were children. They were all staring at him: although, some were trying to be sneaky about it. Gavin couldn't see their faces though. After all, they were all hidden in the shadows. Some came up to him in order to tease him openly. Most shied away and whispered hurtful things. Why was it that he seemed to be able to hear everything they were saying? So annoying. Didn't they have better things to do? Certain phrases kept repeating over and over in his head. Without realizing it, he started to breath a bit heavier than before. It was almost as if he started sprinting.
Suddenly, Gavin slammed a case shut; which snapped him out of his trance. The noise it made was loud, but not enough to overpower the fleeting crowd. Without a word, he clicked the latches into place. He didn't even look at Daniel. If the blond was going to ask something; then he would answer. Now that he started focusing more on the guy at the piano: something felt wrong. Blue gray orbs lifted to look up at the blond. Why was he being so quiet? It just seemed odd: especially after what just happened.
That's when he felt it: a sudden chill seemed to climb up his right arm. Gavin visibly shivered, but this time the coldness didn't go away. Normally, it just travels through you like electricity might. This was different though. It was as if his entire arm was in a cooler room. His mouth dropped open just enough so that you could rest a finger in-between both lips. He turned to look toward his arm as his left hand grabbed it. His hand rubbed his arm up and down in an attempt to warm it.______________ 【I am not a click track】
◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘MYSTERIOUS CHIBI GHOST
The chibi ghost turned to watch the blond fondle the piano. His arm was pretty close to touching the ghosts head. The only reason it didn't was because the chibi ghost was slumping over. It wasn't until the mini ghost was almost completely faded away that it was suddenly back to its normal barely there shade. Suddenly, it sat up straight and stared at Gavin. The tiny ghost "stood" up and flew over to Gavin. In the process of doing this, it happened to run its whole body right through Daniel's arm without even caring.
The chibi ghost circled around Gavin as it watched him. At this point, the drummer was completely zoning out. The little ghost tilted its head to look into the other guys eyes. For some reason, it tried really hard to keep looking at those blue gray orbs. It wasn't until Gavin slammed the case shut that the little ghost jerked away. The little thing still stared at him though.
What sounded like rubbish came from the chibi ghost as it hovered over to Gavin's side. It was saying something, but no one could hear it. Even if they could, it wouldn't make much sense anyway. Having a mouth would be useful for such things. The little ghost tried to tug at the sleeve of the hoodie, but ended up passing through the drummers whole arm. Then it clung to the arm and looked up at Gavin. It's not like the little thing was really passing through the arm, but the cold ghostly body was wrapped around it. The tiny ghost inched its way up his arm so that its chin could "rest" on Gavin's shoulder. It stared at him; and only uttered something, that made no sense, when the drummer seemed to look in the little ghosts direction. "Why can't I find you? I don't want to forget..."

((I'm so ready for this semester to be over with. I've only got one more final tomorrow, and then I'm in the clear!))
Christoph was surprised when Liam seized poor Lucian and practically dragged him out. He hadn't expected to see him come out for the rest of the night. With a rueful sigh, he followed them into the back room and gave Lucian the apron.
"It's not much, but put it on while I check for spare uniforms." As Liam left, Christoph moved over to the lockers where the employees left their personal belongings. Right next to those was a small, beat-up wardrobe that looked as if it had stood there for centuries. Actually, it had, being part of the Haunted Music Box and all. Sometimes, waiters and bartenders would get the drinks on their uniforms, either out of clumsiness, inattention, or from an irate customer. That was when the wardrobe came in handy. It always held a couple of spare shirts and pants. Christoph pulled it open and grabbed a shirt and a pair of pants, then tossed both to Lucian.
"Here you are. When you're dressed, just leave that apron on the bench." He laughed, adding, "Can't have you being mistaken for one of my staff, after all. You don't know where anything is." Christoph turned and left the back room so that Lucian could have a little privacy. It was the least he deserved after being so embarrassed.
As it so happened, Christoph was back to the bar just in time to see the band fighting among themselves. There was something about being a monster, and then the bassist stormed off. Personally, that didn't bother the bartender one bit. The bassist was a bit of a p***k, and that was the nicest thing Christoph could find to say about him. He only tolerated him because he liked Wells, and Wells seemed to be ok with him.
At the redhead's apology, he just waved his hands. "Don't worry about it. You can't control what he does." He lowered his voice conspiratorially. "Honestly, you're better off without him. He can't keep a steady beat. Take my advice, a new bassist is what you need. Cough-at-the-end-of-the-bar-COUGH!" Christoph shook his head and thumped his chest with his fist, then smiled and said, "Seems like I had a bit of phlegm in my throat. If you'll excuse me, gentlemen, it's time that I go help make the rounds for last call." With that, he sauntered up and down the bar, filling orders for drinks and accepting payments from patrons.
Yuko had watched all of the proceedings with interest, and now followed the little drama playing out between the young Japanese man and the timid blonde. Her eyes narrowed as she spotted the little chibi ghost, and for a moment, she contemplated doing something about it. Then she shook her head slightly, deciding against it. Yuko didn't do charity work. Someone had to request her interference and pay an appropriate price. Otherwise, there were... consequences. Severe ones.
She had momentarily forgotten her young companion as she stared out at the crowd.

✯✯✯I drink liquid music, so that I may sing to quench the thirst of the world✯✯✯ When Christoph replied back, he gave an embarrassed laugh and rubbed the back his head for a moment. He let his hand drop when the owner started speaking in a lower tone. Subconsciously, he leaned forward in order to hear him better. Wells gave him a big smile after the bartender finished his comments about the bassist issue. It wasn't his normal smile though: it was a bit empty. His eyes shifted to look over at Lacey. The girl seemed preoccupied with whatever it was that she was drinking. The redhead turned his attention back to Christoph when started speaking again. All he gave in response was a slight nod of the head.
Wells turned around and glanced around the bar. There weren't that many people left, but the place was still full with activity here and there. His eyes rested on Lacey. 'Of course I wanted to hear her play...but now is not the time to talk about that.' The redhead thought to himself before looked back at Christoph. He wanted to ask if he even heard her play. It would seem a bit odd if he recommended her without listening to her first.
A soft sigh escaped his lips as he started walking toward the stage. Wells just wanted to pack up and go already. Plus, he needed to talk to Gavin about what happened. Then he was going to try and mend things with Ian. Granted, that guy was never going to be allowed back in the band; but, Wells wasn't the type to just end a friendship over one massive fight. It all depends on how their talk goes later.
Before he could even make it to the stage; some dedicated fans came up to him. One of them being that blond from earlier. She has never missed anything when it was related to the band. Maybe one would call her the greatest fan. The one that should get all the extra perks. Not that they were big like that though. Wells flashed them a warm smile before he started to entertain them for a bit. He knew that Gavin was with Daniel right now; so he didn't mind taking a little extra time to get over there. After all, those two haven't really talked in a while.

In the silence that spanned between the two musicians, Daniel's gaze and mind wandered simultaneously. His eyes skittered past the hard curve of Gavin's bent shoulder and focused on the crowd beyond. Well, the scattered crowd at this hour. The bar was likely about to close - even now he could see Christoph's head of bright hair moving through the remaining patrons. It looked as though things were being tidied up below stage as they were on stage. Liam's long mane of violet-blue swayed slightly as he stood next to a blue-haired gent with a viola - Daniel's curiosity momentarily piqued, recognizing the instrument so like his own. But current affairs and troubles soon made the young blond look away. Rather, his subconscious somehow manipulated all his actions, bringing him back to where he had begun.
Green eyes, vaguely aquatic of hue, sharpened. As per usual of his attentive, acute nature, Daniel immediately found something amiss as he concentrated on Gavin's pale, stern features. While the taller male was somewhat turned away, Daniel was able to discern a certain... absence. Vacancy; Gavin moved about, putting his drum set away, but with the mindlessness of someone half asleep... or extremely preoccupied. Thin golden brows flicked up and his hand tensed upon the piano's smooth top. As if he wasn't alone in his observations, a chill flashed ice-cold through Daniel's arm. His thin muscles jerked and knotted and a swirl of softly frozen breath cascaded through his lips. Inhaling, gasping, Daniel pulled his arm to his chest, holding it as if wounded.
He didn't know what had caused such a sensation, but almost directly afterward the other male seemed to come to. With more force than necessary, Gavin smacked the case he held shut. Daniel flinched and inwardly cursed his sad communication skills. His gaze fell to the floor, where he stared at his old tennis shoes for a moment. What was he doing? Was he bothering Gavin, by being a hanger-on like this? They were friends, right? So it was okay, all this... worrying? Uncertainty? Confusion? Why was a simple relationship based on camaraderie so difficult? His heart thudded heavily in his chest and a sound drew him out of his miseries.
Glancing up, his head tilted whilst a bewildered expression crossed his delicate features. Gavin's face mirrored his own and that's when Daniel's eyes traveled to the arm Gavin held, slowly realizing something strange. His lids lowered, narrowed, then shot wide open. "...Eh?" Was he seeing things? Lifting a hand to his eyes, he rubbed at them as if to clear his vision. Instead, it was as if things grew... even stranger. Taking a shaky step forward, Daniel's lips parted and he stuttered a few unintelligible words. Finally, he was directly before Gavin, eyes wide as saucers as he leaned in faintly. "...What... are you?"
Though Gavin likely had no clue what he was talking about, Daniel was too far shocked by the tiny apparition hovering behind the drummer's shoulder to notice. Daniel had always been a sensitive creature. With eyes and ears capable of catching what most missed, the idea that he could see auras, too, had once crossed his mind. But he'd been scolded for making up silly stories like "auras" and "spirits". Thus, as a teenager, he had forced himself to ignore what his eyes and heart told him. Nowadays, if he caught a glimmer, he would usually brush it off as a bit of light or reflection. Now, though, there was no denying that... some shimmery, foggy something was nestled besides Gavin like a spectral parrot.
Lord, he thought, how big of an idiot he must look in Gavin's eyes. Straightening up hurriedly, Daniel muttered something that might have been an apology, but it was lost as he stepped back. One foot caught on a stray cord still on stage and in that instant he tripped over it. Crying out, surprised, the blond took a short dive to the ground, landing hard on his side, losing his breath as it was punched out of him. Coughing, he lay still, head spinning as pain echoed through his body. Dully, he let his head fall back as well. "Um... ow..." An idiot and a klutz, Daniel added lamely, trying to roll onto his other side, not realizing his feet were still tangled in the cords.

◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘ ┌─────────────────────────────┐Gavin turned his attention to the blond when he made a questioning sound. Why did he look so...shocked? Blue gray eyes looked down at the older males legs as he started walking. It seemed like he was scared. Why would he be scared? Daniel was acting even weirder than he was earlier. Suddenly, the thought crossed his mind that slamming the case might have upset the blond. After all, he seemed to react nervously to Gavin's actions quite often. Now that he thought about it, the green-eyed male in front of him seemed to get overly concerned. He just figured this was the case with everyone though. It's not like he has see the blond interact with anyone else yet. Not really anyway. Still, all that didn't explain his current actions.
Finally Gavin looked up to find the blond extremely close to him all of the sudden. It was his fault for not paying attention and spacing on in thought for a few seconds. Still, his upper body inched back slightly when Daniel leaned closer. "Huh?" was all the drummer said in respond to his the question. Before he could really think about it and decided what to say next, he realized that the blond was not really looking at him. Well, not directly anyway. It was more like he was looking over his shoulder. The drummer turned his head slightly to see if he could see what Daniel might be looking at: but he saw nothing. This was just weird. Why did he ask him something like that? What Ian called him flashed across his mind then.
That was when he noticed the cold feeling, which enveloped his arm suddenly, vanished. His eyes glanced at his arm before returning to Daniel. The blond was in the process of muttering something while taking a step back. Gavin's eyes widened ever so slightly as the other male started to fall. Instinctively, he reached out and grabbed his wrist. The drummer took a step forward, but the shorter male slipped from his grasp. What made him loosen his grip was probably the sudden chill that caused his whole body to spasm. Now he was teetering dangerously on his feet. The stoic drummer winced for half a second before letting out a sigh; which was followed by another jerk from his body. Then, the cold feeling was gone.
Unfortunately, Gavin completely lost his balance at this point and fell to the ground like a limp doll. For some reason he felt abnormally drained and seemed to fall in slow motion. Regardless of that fact, he still ended up landing right on top of Daniel; who seemed to roll onto his back even though his feet were still tangled. His head ended up resting a bit above the blond's right shoulder. "Itai..." he murmured painfully.
Gavin let his forehead rest on the ground; which made his lips press gently on the blond's shoulder as he took a deep breath. Instead of letting out a sigh, like he was supposed to, he held it in. Unexpectedly, he just took in a ton of the older guys natural scent. The smell that was Daniel. It shocked him: the type of fragrance it seemed to be. The drummer placed the palms of his hands on the ground, near the blond's shoulders, and started to push himself away. He forced himself to exhale; which caused him to send a rush of hot air trickling across the others ear. It's not that he meant to do that of course; it just happened. Strands of his dark hair brushed against the blond's cheek as he lifted himself up. His messy hair fell forward, as if it was trying to touch the ground again, now that he was on his hands and knees. This probably wasn't the best position to be stopping to ask a question; After all, he was basically straddling the poor guy. Of course, that was something that never crossed the stoic drummers mind.
"Are you all right?" Gavin asked between breaths that were slightly heavier than normal. It was odd that he was affected that much. Falling isn't a big deal. After all, he kind of had a cushion. It was those chilling shocks that probably tired him out. Shortly after he asked the question, the drummer shifted his weight to his left side and let his butt plop onto the ground. His left leg was bent so that his foot was positioned in front of him. Then he let the bottom of his other foot rest on the floor; leaving the heel to situate itself in the nook of his left ankle. He kept his left hand on the floor as his right arm was placed on top of his right knee: which was pointing up to the ceiling. This action made him sit on the right side of Daniel: around where his knees were located.
In reality, that only took a few seconds; but, it probably felt like forever. Gavin mumbled something under his breath, but it was in Japanese. These are the times that he is more likely to start speaking in that language: when he isn't paying attention. The words just slip out before he even realizes it. The drummer didn't always notice that he spoke another language after the fact, but in this case: he did. At this point though, it just didn't matter. He thought this whole situation was just plain weird. Blue gray orbs shifted to look at Daniel's tangled feet. As he thought, Gavin freed the blond's feet from the evil wires grasp.______________ 【I am not a click track】
◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘◘MYSTERIOUS CHIBI GHOST
The chibi ghost turned to look at the blond that seemed to ask it a question. A little incoherent noise came from the ghost. The tiny thing released Gavin and started talking to the one that asked him a question. Unfortunately, if Daniel did hear anything, it would have sounded like mumbling and nothing more. Sighing, the ghost realized that it wasn't going to work.
That was when the blond started to fall. The chibi ghost flew over as if it was going to help, but it hovered there instead. It watched as Gavin grabbed onto the other guys wrist. That's when the little ghost thought of something. Without really caring about what was going on, it flew over and entered the drummers chest; thus, disappearing from sight. This caused Gavin's to loose his grip on the blond while struggling to stay balanced.
A second later, the chibi ghost exited out of Gavin's back. It made an frustrated type noise before turning around to watch what happened next. If you could see its face: a big gaping smile formed on it. Gavin fell on the other guy! The whole situation just turned extremely amusing for the tiny ghost. "Why can't I find you? I don't want to forget..."((Oh my gosh...trying to describe how he was sitting was problematic for me for some reason. I hope it makes sense. ╔══════════════╗ ♫ ℒacey ℋancock ♫ ╚══════════════╝
Lacey already poured herself more sake by the time the fight broke out. She turned slightly in her seat to look over at what was going on. Unfortunately, she couldn't really see it though. There was already a small crowd of people around the ones in the fight. The only thing she did notice was the fact that the band members were the ones that started fighting. She also heard what Wells said when he defended Gavin. After all, he was quite loud at that point. What in the world happened?
Things started to calm down after the bassist left. Lacey turned back to her drink and took another sip. For the moment, she forgot that she had been talking to the lady sitting next to her. Suddenly, a musical chime sounded that made her search her purse. Soon she pulled out the cell phone to see that Mel was calling. "Wha..." she happened to say out loud by accident. The petite girl flipped open her phone.
"Hello?" She asked warily before listening to what the other was saying. Meanwhile, he eyes scanned the place in search of her friend. "What! Where are you?" Another short pause came as Mel started speaking again. She shifted back to face the bar while listening. "Something? What do you mean..." Lacey stopped suddenly because she was interrupted. Her eyes went wide at the next comment, but by the time she could start responding: Mel already hung up.
With a soft sigh, Lacey closed her phone and dropped it lazily into her purse. What was she thinking? Why could she tell her to find one of the guys to take her home? It's not like she really knew anyone here. She didn't even tell her where she was and why she had to leave without telling her. Lacey didn't even know when her friend left. That made her feel a little bad; after all, she was usually pretty observant. Then again, a lot of odd and interesting things have been happening tonight.
After Lacey took another sip, she noticed the Japanese lady sitting next to her. "Oh, I'm sorry about that," she said in her soft tone before giving the lady a gentle smile. This would be the time to ask her what she wanted; but her mind was going blank. It was slightly annoying. What if the "forever" young lady beside her never comes back in her lifetime? Then again, maybe associating herself with a time witch isn't the best idea in the first place. Hanging out in a bar with all kinds of supernatural beings might be worse though. Was that going to stop her from coming though? No way! This place was like a dream. A break from everyday life.

Yuko smiled when Lacey turned back to her and spoke. "That's all right, my dear. Please, don't worry about it." She looked towards the bar and sipped at her own sake, wincing at how warm it had gotten while she'd held it in her hand. That was her own fault, of course, for forgetting about it.
She glanced over at Christoph and sighed. He was purposely keeping himself busy, she knew. An odd way for a lover to act, but he'd always been that way. It didn't help that he was a bit resentful of how she'd reacted when he'd declared his undying love for her so many years ago. Laughing at a young man's naivete did tend to hurt their feelings. But after a few centuries, she would have thought he'd grow up and get over it. He was still acting quite childishly about it.

Lacey quietly sipped her sake as the lady next to her delved into her own thoughts. It was probably about Christoph. After all, she did look in that direction. Not that the young girl was really paying much attention. Their relationships seemed complicated, but she pushed such thoughts aside. There was no use pondering about them when she wouldn't find any answers. It's not like she was going to ask. That just seemed rude. It was none of her business.
That was when the lady asked Lacey a question. Considering the fact that she was in mid-sip, she started choking on her drink. Granted, she swallowed it down, but still. She finally responded after her coughing fit calmed down for the most part. "No...I guess that kind of thing never really interested me," she answered sweetly. A soft chuckle slipped out of her mouth as she pushed some strands of her dark hair behind her ear. "I suppose it is a bit weird..." Of course she meant that it was probably weird that a young girl like her has never been in a relationship or even felt the urge to me with someone. She has had little crushes here and there, but they didn't normally last very long.
Lacey stopped talking to take a sip of her drink. Thoughts were racing in her head. Now that they were holding a conversation again, she started thinking about things she could ask. After taking another sip, she set the choko down on the counter and placed her hands in her lap. "Is it possible...that we are related?" She glanced up at Yuko before returning her eyes to her hands. Her left hand seemed to be massaging the fingers on her other hand. For some reason, asking that question made her nervous. "What kind of time related powers do you deal with anyway?" She asked after looking back at the older lady. Lacey forced herself to stop fiddling with her hands and focused back on her sake. Slowly, she took another sip and waited. For some reason, she felt like whatever she asked this woman would only lead to more questions.

((A fight broke between Gavin (the band drummer) and Ian (the band bassist) but Wells stopped it, but it seemed that Ian managed to hurt Gavin, then when Wells apologized to the bar owner (Christoph) he suggested Lacey to him as a replacement bassist.
Byron left the bar without any further interactions.
Liam(Violet haired bartender) stopped a fight and threw a drunken patron out.
There was also interaction between Gavin and Daniel (the blond guy), which turned a little awkward when Daniel fell and Gavin fell over him.
Lacey and Yuko were still talking together when Mel called her. It also seems that Yuko is not pleased by how Christoph is making himself busy on purpose.
Also Delavie left the roleplay.
I suggest you read pages 26 to 29 (there is a lot of OOC in them anyway.) ))

The last thing he remembered before taking a head dive to the stage floor was a very strange sight. During his perplexed, incoherent state, the little spirit had made odd motions, as if speaking. Indeed Daniel had heard something, very faintly, as if there was something inside him creating a filter. It had all sounded oddly muffled and distant, as if the ghost had spoken from afar rather than nearly before Daniel's then standing form. Then he had taken his flight to the ground and the spectral cloud had followed after him for a moment, but directly before something far larger and infinitely more solid had grabbed at him first. The blond recalled a pressure on his wrist and a startled expression from the normally stoic drummer. The whole moment had passed far too quickly for anything else to have stuck out in Daniel's memory, especially as physical sensation overrode the visual aspect of reality.
Briefly, Daniel tried to get up. Initially, he had been too stunned to move, but his polite mindset wouldn't allow him to stay stranded on the floor like an imbecile. But there was no stopping what happened next and Daniel hadn't noticed at all when, without warning, another body fell a top of his. Breath spilled from between his parted lips and a soft 'umph' followed a short squeak of surprise. The jolt of having a heavy weight sprawling across him was so great that Daniel was unable to move, his hips and shoulders painfully pressing into the stage's hardwood floor. His lungs felt hot and deflated and he instinctively gasped for breath. His delicate nostrils flared and a delicious inhale brought him relief. A familiar aroma filled his lungs, his mind, his very being.
Deeply green-blue eyes snapped from their lazy, half-flagged state. He knew the scent, even if it was newly known; it was unmistakable even among the plethora of other smells in the Music Box's interior. The sound of breathing sent a hard shiver down his spine and the brush of heat across his un-pierced earlobes caused a second. A single word was spoken, but it was foreign, strange, another language entirely. Motionless, emotionally and physically paralyzed in place, Daniel could only wait helplessly as the seconds ticked by. Finally Gavin seemed to recall himself and shifted, black hair like a butterfly's wing over the skin of his cheeks. Said cheeks were already heavily colored, flushed as summer roses in full bloom.
He lay with his arms half bent on either side of his head, the backs of his hands settled near his hair. His eyes large and visibly uneasy for various, nameless reasons, Daniel was silent for a moment longer whilst Gavin rolled off of him to one side. While the drummer settled, Daniel managed to blink a few times, remembering himself in the meantime. Slowly, one arm lifted to press down on the floor, followed by the other. Levering himself up that way, Daniel was able to sit leaning back on his hands, his legs spread out before him. Even before he could think of untangling himself from the cords, Gavin was already there, removing them. Taken aback, Daniel swallowed, not sure how to handle such an odd situation. At the very least he could say something.
"I am... I, uh, I'm fine. Just a silly fall and umm, sorry. I didn't mean to... to make you fall too. Are you okay? You're not hurt? Where'd the gh-- AH! I mean, thank you... you tried to help and..." Golden lashes lowered as Daniel swatted at his pants, brushing off some dust. His flushed face was making him uncomfortable: the heat simply wouldn't leave and he was... embarrassed? Why was he so unwound by all this? Shivering a bit, he shrugged his shoulders and managed a soft chuckle. "I wonder if anyone... saw that? We probably looked pretty comical... Mm, oh." Again Daniel fretted and then lifted his eyes to gaze thoughtfully at Gavin for a moment. Had he heard right, earlier? Or had he imagined hearing those strange words from the quiet drummer? "...you... do you... have you lived abroad, before? I thought I heard... ah... maybe I'm wrong? S-sorry. I think I bumped my h-head... haha."
