"Very well then, we shall stay and listen to Shagatsu-san play a song!" She smiled to them, "Then afterwards, perhaps we can go to the noodle shop and go get your hair done, Popo-chan! Then you can have your very first evening out."

Shagatsu laughed and took out his instrument. He plucked a few strings and turned a few nobs. after a few moments, he paused and listened. The wind chimes in the distance seemed to be the only thing heard, besides the waterfall. He began to play and as he did, it felt as if the windchimes were playing right along. He began to pick a song he had known for a while. It began at a medium speed but the nslowed at the end. Once he came to the chorus, he pulled out his bow and began to bow the strings. He played a mournful chorus that was slow and melodic. And with a dazzling flash, he sped up the bowing untill the sound was almost one solid note. He finished the song with the chorus repeated and fading out. And with the last note, he got up and bowed, the chimes now silent.

Iyasu's was silent. He had such a way with music! She smiled and clapped her hands, "Oh! Shagatsu-san, I have forgotten that your musical skill! You must come in one day to my music class! My students would love to hear to song." The young geisha could always be taken in by music of any nature. It was her one true weak point.

Shagatsu laughed "Oh Iyasu, it would be a pleasure to come, but I believe that men are not allowed even near the Okiya's. I wouldnt want the maids and keepers chasing me out with brooms!" Shagatsu bowed "You are welcome to bring your students here though, if need be" He smiled. "The company of you ladies never bores me." blaugh

She laughed, "Oh my, Shagatsu-san! I would never invite a man back to the okiya! Mother would surely have my hide if I did that." Iy-chan giggled and shook her head, "I mean to the school. I teach at the geisha school, good monk! But, I'm sure the class would love a feild trip. What do you think, Tanpopo-chan?"

Shagatsu bowed "But of course, my love. You are always welcome here." He said with a smile. He laughed and turned to go get some water.

Iyasu gave him a deep bow, doing her best to hide her blushing cheeks. No one had ever called her 'love' before, until she met Shagatsu. She turned around and smiled to the girls, still feeling the rosey warmth in her cheeks.
"Well, I think we should get going girls. Let's go to the noodle house and then to hair salon." Iy-chan smiled to them happily, "Go thank Shagatsu-san for his lovely playing." She reminded them.

Popo bowed to Shagatsu, "Thank you very much, Shagatsu-san. You did indeed play very lovely. I enjoyed it immensely." She turned to Iyasu, "I am ready to go, onee-san." She smiled excitedly.

She bowed to Tanpopo with a broad smile and she looked over to Yokome. "Ready to go Yokome-chan? We're heading over to the Salon and then back to the okiya, we're going out tonight."

"That sounds good, Onee-san." She bowed to Iyasu-san and then turned to Shagatsu-san and said. "Thank you very much for entertaining us with your playing. It was a real pleasure to hear you. I will try and visit you more often, Shagatsu-san. Good-bye for now" Yokome bowed and then turned back to Iyasu-san.

Once more she bowed to Shagatsu and promptly turned around. She gracefully lifted the hem of her kimono and floated down the stairs, like a water lily.
"Come along girls! There is much to be done." She thoughtfully to them.

Omny steped inside the temple. and looked around. From her privious accident at her Okiya she needed to gather her thoughts. Not used to the japanese temples and not being Budhist would she be accepted? Either way she took a deep breath and looked around to see what people were doing.
