This was not overly surprising in her mind as Kyouya sempai was, according to popular belief amongst the Black Club members, only mistakenly in the Host Club and sooner or later he would see the Darkness and join his true brothers and sisters.
She saw Tamaki turn pale as Chizuru spoke and narrowed her eyes. Has they missed something? She looked questioningly at Honey sempai.

pink stuffed rabbit', but quickly regained his
composure. "A rabbit?" he laughed, "Why on

Picking up a menu, Hitomi flicked through it,
apparently uninterested in the answer.
"Kyouya dear, what would you recommend we order?"

He leaned his pretty head on the table.

Lynette laughed at Chizuru's comment. They had to keep cool now. They had just gotten their answer.
"I resent that! In the part of Rothbart, I don't want to be killed looking like a rabbit! Where would Lady Benibara get an idea like that? But it is quite creative..."
She picked up her menu and glanced down at it. What could they do now? Well... everything Rothbart related was about her. Maybe she could do something toward the end and get the rabbit free. But right now the current situation was more important.
She looked back at everyone else. They all seemed to be concerned with their menus. Nothing was looking very much like a date. Something had to change. She smiled at Kyouya.
"What do you say to getting two things and sharing? That way we get a bit of each.""

Kyouya had been looking at Honey's table out of the corner of his eye, pretty sure they had overheard Chizuru's careless comment. At least it seemed so, since they were having trouble holding Honey sempai down, and keeping him from crying too loudly.
He suddenly realized that Lynette was adressing him.
"What? Oh, yes." He said, not quite sure what was going on. "A very good idea." he hazarded, hating himself for being caught off-guard.

Lynette held back a smirk. Kyouya hadn't been paying attention at all. It was nice to know that he actually could be caught off guard. But in a situation like this, that was a bit careless.
What had caught his attention so much? She let her eyes' gaze shift to the corner where Kyouya had been looking. It was Honey-sempai's table. It figured. Honey was on the verge of attacking Chizuru. Luckily, Mori-sempai could hold him back.
She should probably fill Kyouya in. It wouldn't be too suspicious to whisper now. She leaned over to him and put a hand to his ear.
"You just agreed to sharing two different dishes."
I'm happy to just watch...

Lynette was slightly embarrassed by the minute blush that had manage to creep across her face. Kyouya sure was going over the top with this whole thing. It was different than his usual behavior.
She gave him a tiny smile then looked down at the menu. She picked two items and another drink.
"What do you say to getting bruschetta and a panini?"

Lady of the Lily....Chizuru Maihara... Chizuru did not notice Kristen's mood, she was too high up on cloud 7 to notice anything so blatant. She gave her a quick hug.
"Hello Kristen dear!" she said, smiling. "I is such a cooincidence! Have you met our soon to be newest and brightest star at Lobelia? No? Hitomi, this is Krity, Kristy, this is Hitomi. We'll get along just famously, I'm sure!"
She realized there were another two people at the table.
"Oh, yes. And you know Lynette, naturally. And the silly gentleman beside her is Kyouya, from the Host Club." she added in a stage whisper. "But I'm sure we won't hold that little fact against him, will we?"

Kyouya nodded with a smile. "I completely agree."
He had thought Lynette was more level-headed than to let a show like that go to her head, but that blush had said otherwise. Perhaps I did go a bit far, he admitted to himself.
After being introduced to the red-head who had suddenly and noisily appeared, he gave her a polite smile (one you could freeze rivers with).
He marveled that Chizuru was too obsessed over Tamaki to notice that Kristen's eyes were so hot they could have been out to quite good use in the iron ore industry. The girl seemed set to go nova any minuet now.

It was a good thing Mori sempai was here, or they would not have been able to hold him down.
It near broke her heart to see him like that. Knowing one's familiar is in danger is a heart-wrenching thing.
An idea came to her. Leaning down, she whispered so that only those at the table could hear.
"Honey sempai, Hana-chan." she said urgently. "If Usa-chan has been taken hostage, why shouldn't we take our own hostage? That way, we have something to bargain with against the Lobelia terrorists."
She looked meaningfully at the table where a strange girl was glaring with considerable talent, for a laywoman, at Chizuru.
