Piper smirked. "You may not but I can. I am a doctor and I can give you something that can sedate him for the moment. I'll give it to you before you leave." She turned and called for Alicia and Allegra.
Alicia came out with Allegra. She still had an obvious mark where her cheek had been cut and needed stitches. She smiled at Cal. "Hey Cal. Whats new?"

Cal looked from Piper to Orion. "Drug him? Is that safe?" He looked at Alicia.
"Hello. I was wondering if Andros said anything to you two before he left. Last we saw him he said something about switching to Daddy duty full time, and quitting alien duty. I don't know what that is suppose to mean. Then he told us we were quitting to, as well as...." He stopped. Not sure if it was alright to bring Summer up to Alicia.
"Then he was informed about the situation with several of our ships being taken due to a traitor."

Alicia shook her head. "If I know Piper and I do, she wouldn't give him enough to harm him just enough to where he isn't able to do much and probably be asleep. But I dont know what the daddy duty thing is about. I wasn't told anything."
Allegra bit her lip. "I told him that Uncle Erebus was a better daddy than him and I wanted a real daddy that is with me. He wanted me to have Uncle Erebus to give me my birthday presents but I didn't because I wanted to wait till when he came back and that I changed my mind and all I wanted was a day with my daddy. Do you think my birthday presents might be able to find my daddy?" She was hanging on to whatever hope she could that they could find her daddy. She looked up at Cal her eyes wide and hopeful.

Cal nodded. "I see...we thought he had went a bit off the deep end." He looked back the way Orion went.
"I think what is really bothering him is the fight he and Andros got into before he went missing. Orion called Andros a coward and traitor. I think now he's concerned that that is the last thing he will ever get to say to his Sire." He looked at Allegra.
"I doubt it. I know what your Daddy got you. He took a lot of time perfecting it all for you. Though seriously....you guys may want to open that envelope he left. That was suppose to have been picked up last week. He already paid for it in full."

Alicia nodded. "I have it in my purse. Let me go get it."
Allegra looked up at Cal. Her little eyes bright. "You're gonna find my daddy and bring him back right? All safe and not hurt? I need my daddy."
Alicia came back in with the envelope in her hands. "I just assumed it was something for Allegra and asked her if she wanted to open it but she said she wanted to wait till Andros got back." She handed Cal the envelope.
Piper looked at Cal. "I'm going to see if I can go find Orion and bring him back her. I hear he's got a huge crush on me so... it shouldn't be too hard. I hear there is a lot of crushing action going on lately." Of course it was meant for Cal of course because Alicia had no idea of what was going on with the crush factor.

"The envelope should have been earlier. The boxes could have been opened whenever." Cal opened the envelope and showed Alicia.
"Papers for the puppy he bought Allegra. Address of where to pick up the pup. That is the vet the pup saw for it's first shot. This is a birth certificate Andros had made up, and adoption made up as well so Miss Allegra may fill out and bring her new baby home." He looked at Alicia.
"He figured he couldn't provide a sibling so this was the next best thing."
He looked at Piper. "Don't fall for the comfort sex bit. He can be very convincing with that one I hear." He turned his attention back to Alicia.
"So....after this all is sorted out...I'm going to be a civilian. Want to go to dinner sometime?"

Piper laughed. "He's my nephew. He's not getting any booty." She walked out and began calling for Orion.
Alicia looked at all the papers. She shook her head while Allegra did a crazy hyper excited dance singing 'he got me a puppy!' song. "I was hoping that these papers would have been a way to find him. She deserves to have a father and spend time with him."
She looked up at Cal. Had she heard him right? Did he actually say he was going to be a civilian and actually asked her out? "Are you sure that's what you want? You have to be absolutely sure because if I agree and this grows into something more... I dealt with Andros when he was a civilian. He didn't like and he left us. I don't want to go through that again. I won't put Allegra through that. First find Andros and bring him back then we'll see where we go from here. Ok Cal?" She put her hand on his shoulder tenderly.

Orion had climbed up a tree and was sitting in it. Looking out over the land.
"You shouldn't stray into the woods alone. They aren't safe..."
"He knows she deserves a father. He has admitted that. He's also admitted he doesn't know how to be a father. He only knows how to be a warrior. The warrior he was made, and the warrior he is at heart." Cal smiled at Allegra.
"I take it you are pleased with your puppy? Summer thought it would be nice for you to have someone to run and play with. Someone you can take in the yard, or swimming down at the lake. She picked what she deemed was the cutest puppy. Andros thought you picked the strongest looking puppy, and the largest. He was not aware humans make their animal decisions on the cutest." He looked back at Alicia.
"Civilian life is for me. I stayed in this life far to long. I stayed for Orion and Summer. He's like a brother and she's been a Mother to me. Orion wants to dedicate his life to this like Andros. Then that is their business. Summer will go where ever Orion leads her. I love them all but this is not a life that makes me happy. Far from it. The few moments I am happy, pleased or satisfied with what I do are far outweighed by the tough decisions, the displeasure, and killing I am forced to do." He nodded his head.
"I agree with you though. We must wait till this is all over before we decide whether we wish to be courting."

Piper shook her head. "Boy I have known these woods all of my life. I know when they're safe and when they're not. Now get your a** out of that tree and back to the house. We have to think of what to do. And if you don't I will go get Erebus and we both will come back and force you out of that try then I will sedate you. Do you want that?"
Alicia sighed. "No one knows how to be a parent until they are a parent. He was on his way to doing a decent job when he was at the restaurant." She shrugged. "Being a soldier is a hard life. My dad was a soldier and he died in war. I rather not have Allegra go through that. Yeah when we find Andros and bring him back we can talk about dating and such things then."

"No. I mean.....there are things in these woods. Caelum and I have been hunting them for days. Aliens....little ones....vicious....they eat flesh. They've been taking bites out of us..." Orion looked down at her.
"Your not my superior. I can not take your orders. In fact your a civilian. I don't agree with Caelum decision to go to the civilians but I would not let him act alone..."
"Andros...is a warrior. As was his father, and his father, and his father. So on and on. This is the life we were raised in. We learned right off as males we would be warriors. It's hard to just go against all the things you've been taught and believed your whole life." Cal looked at Allegra.
"What will you name your puppy?"

Piper glowered at the boy. "I am your elder though. So if you want to act like a child then I will be forced to treat you as such. So get down now. This instant. I have three children and if I have to treat you as another child then so help me god I will because you sitting in a tree waiting for who knows what is childish. Besides Erebus has a station sit up close to the house so he could find things faster than watching from a tree." She crossed her arms over her chest.
Alicia smiled as Cal began talking to Allegra. "I don't know. I'd have to see it before I name it." Alicia laughed.

Orion pointed out. "You see that....that is our house. You see that weird glimmer. Occasional purple spark? That is them trying to override the security program. He decided to ignore her threats.
"Just for future knowledge I am a man. A warrior, and have seen many battles. I'm not a child, I won't be treated like one, nor am I a Earthling. The rules that you have set out for your offspring...those are rules for normal Earth children. I am not a normal Earth child. So those rules do not apply to me because they do not work for the way I was raised and the person I am. A warrior. Not just some regular young boy." Orion lowered himself from the branch. Dropping the last few feet.
"However if my being in the tree causes you discomfort I will vacate the tree."
"I see. You should go get the pup soon. It was ready to leave last week." He patted Allegra on the head.
"I hope you enjoy your new puppy." Cal looked around.
"The sun is setting..."

Piper did not hesitate to do what she had to do to Andros, Erebus, Matthew, and Taylor a time or two. She immediately grabbed his ear and began leading him down towards her house. "Foolish. Immature. Stubborn a**. Slack jawed. Just like your father. I won't be having you getting yourself killed before he makes it home. If I have to tie you down to a bed and sedate you! By the heavens if it has to come to that to keep you alive then so be it I will do it. At least you'll be alive when your parents get back." There was no way he could break the hold she had. Andros hadn't gotten out of her hold when she had him like this she doubted Andros junior would. "You won't be going to that house if they are attacking it. You will stay with us and use Erebus' station to contact whoever you have to contact but you will not be going back there."
Allegra smiled. "You're gonna find my daddy and bring him back right?"
Alicia looked out the door. And wouldn't you know it there was Piper pulling Orion by the ear toward the house. She busted out laughing. She picked up Allegra and showed her. "Thats Auntie Piper for you. She said she would bring him back." She turned back to Cal waiting for an answer.

"Ow! My ears do not detach!" Orion whined. He then got an idea. He kept walking but tickled Piper's sides. His Mother was ticklish everywhere so he often had to launch tickle attacks to get her to calm down. She could be so stern at times.
"Yes. Of course I am bring him back. I'll let you in on a little secret. My Dad died quite sometime ago and even before that Andros took me under his watch. He trained me. He did his best to make sure I was safe. So Orion and I will definitely bring him back." Cal put his pinky out.
"I pinky promise...or is it swear?"

Piper shook her head. "Yes, which is why I am grabbing them. Unless you would like me to grab a hold of something else but I don't think you will prefer me grabbing that. And I am not ticklish so you can quit that."
Allegra took his pinky with hers. She smiled at him. "Pinky swear. If you bring him back safely, you can date my mommy." She figured if she sweetened the deal then it should go faster.
Alicia whipped around and looked at Allegra. There was nothing like being a bargaining chip in a deal.
