"Cassie, what is done is done!" Nasumi said a little loudly. "I said I'm sorry, no need to hold a freaking grudge!" she crossed her arms and tossed her head, her golden hair swishing.

Yipes watched as the group grew. Well, at least they care for the pup! he thought. He also wondered if such a large group would warrant too much attention. They made their way down a small slope, and the trees broke into small suburban areas. There was some talking and Duece and Cassie said they would go ahead and let the vet know about shadow. Nasumi shouted after them, saying something about grudges. Yipes just shook his head and sighed. A few minutes later they were in an area with more businesses. It had been a while, but Yipes had been here before, and he knew the area fairly well. He didn't, however, know how crowded it had gotten. There were more people than he remembered, and the streets were not nearly as pristine as they had been before. Finally, they reached the animal hospital. Stepping through the door Yipes saw Duece and Cassie waiting in the small room. "You talk to the doctor yet?" he asked.

Tsukiya saw the town and said, "Okay, unlike most of you, I can't shapeshift, so who will come with me to scout the town. I don't wanna get picked up by some dog catcher and have to tear his arm off. Everyone can't go at once to the vet at once, that would be suspicious. So, how 'bout Cassie, Deuce, and Io go with Shadow to the vet, Nasumi and Yipes take the West half of downtown, and Miazi and myself will take the East half of downtown. Who agrees?"

Cassie glared at the female behind her her fur beginning to stand on edge but she quicly calmed herself. Her thoughts were loud adn clear in the other wolves head "Watch your tone with me, I've forgiven you for this so far, don't make me regret it. So drop the attitude in front of these humans or I'll drop you." Her patience was running thin as it was and the female wasn't helping at all. She trotted up to her brother the perfect image of a dog in distress as she twitched and fidgited.
Deuce glared softly at Nasumi but quickly turned his attention to the pup and his sister. Petting her on the head he knelt down and smiled softly. " Easy there girl, the pup will be okay." He stood and nodded to the nurse who had brought out a stretcher for them to place the pup on. He looked to Yipes and shook his head "Not yet but the nurse is gonna bring Shadow back adn examine her." He made a show of calming Cassie down as he petted her again and spoke soothing words to her. The charade had to look good enough to convince the humans. When the nurse asked what kind of dog they were dealing with Deuce quickly answered " A Husky, Shepard, mix."

"Alright, enough. I know I have no place to intervene in this argument, but this has to stop. Nasumi, Cassie isn't ready to forgive you yet, but she probably will eventually. Just let it go for a while so we can help Shadow, who all of us care about. We need to worry about Shadow and scouting the city for now. Miazi, will you come with me?" Tsukiya knew he had no place to say anything, but the constant fighting amoung the makeshift pack was getting on his nerves.

((SanDiego Miazi is already inside the vet office with Duece and Cassie and Yipes. Also Cassie has already forgiven Nasumi.))
Miazi looked around the office and swallowed. Bad memories. Very bad memories. She looked up at Deuce. "We need to split into groups. Tsukiya thinks the humans are trying to get rid of all the wolves and wants to get more info. Also we have to pair up one in wolf form and some in human form so no one gets caught by dog catchers adn we don't look so suspisious," she said. She shifted slightly from foot to foot to disract herself from the bad memories that were trying to go through her head.

Shadow could here voices and felt herself be placed on a soft surface. SHe opened her eyes and looked at her surroundings. They were unfamiliar. She was going to panic, when she lifted her head and saw a group of her friends. This relaxed her, and she let her head back down and closed her eyes again.

"sorry" Nasumi half muttered. she walked into the hospital and looked at shadow. she sighed and wispered "i'm sorry, you'll be better soon." She petted Shadow behind the ear, the way the children had done to her.

Duece watched and walked alongside the pup as the staff wheeled her back to the ER. As the nurses reached the back one turned to him and shook her head. " I'm sorry but you can't come back here, neither can the mother. We'll update you as soon as we have her stable." Duece sighed but noded as he grabbed his sister by the fur as she tried to trot past him slowly. He popped her lightly as she growled and the nurse scurried back into the room.
Cassie whined as she tugged against her brothers hold on her fur. " Duece come on they won't even know I'm in there! Promise just let me go!!" She growled into his mind. With a soft yelp she was pulled around and dragged to the waiting room by her scruff. She glared and sulked as she laid at her brothers feet as he explained that Shadow was in surgery and that they would know about her as soon as she was stable.

Io stood in the waiting room, watching the door Shadow had been wheeled through. He was in his human form, and he was fidgety. He began to pace. He barley even knew the pup, but she was so small and young. She needed protection, and Io wanted to give it to her.

Nasumi sighed and sent some gentle words to Shadow for comfort. "I'll come with you Tsukiya, I need to clear my mind" she said a bit quietly. She waked over to him and waited his reply

"Allright, lets go." Tsukiya said. He and Miazi walked out and he said to her, "Hey, don't worry. Shadow may be young, but she's one tough kid, she'll pull through!" He said this with much optimism.

"your right" Nasumi said a bit more happy. she walked out with them and asked "So where to first?" She leaned onto her left leg and pushed the hair out of her eyes.
