She looks at her motherly and goes to hug her"I'm sorry for yelling like that, i just don't want people fighting in the academy, if you two ever want to fight take to the training facility"She said,then sighed and stood up

She was twitching on the inside"so you're telling me,you don't know if you want to learn either ninjutsu or genjutsu"she sighed and mentally rolled her eyes"fine, we'll start taijutsu,put these on"She said giving him the weights"the point of putting on the weights is to help you get used to the sand, so that you can manipulate it better, how you will do that, is by walking in them, then once you get used to them, start jogging, till you can run for at least 25 minutes with them on"She said"Once that is done,i will see how you manipulate them,after that, you will learn... genjutsu, then after you tell me your element,which i am sure you know, cuz that's the least an academy student should know, i will then teach you element manipulation,after that i will test to see what you have learned, and if you can even that all that done, then you will have graduated, any questions?"She asked

"Actually, I'd rather learn both types of jutsu if it's required." David replied, deciding to just give up on making the woman understand. Taking the weights, he stared at them for a moment. 'Sand weights... Does she expect these to do anything? Oh well, they could be useful.' He thought as he strapped them on. They really might come in handy, considering the speed ideas were jumping into his head. Standing up from strapping the leg weights on, he turned to the next matter at hand. Academy students were supposed to know their element? That was news to him. "How am I meant to know my element? I thought there was some special test to discover it, and I've never take that test."

Staring at her for a moment, he suddenly realized something. He had studied a few ninjutsu without telling anyone, and there were some that had been easier than others. "If I were to guess..." He murmured, just loud enough for her to hear. "I'd say doton." Pausing for a moment he realized that that might not be a good idea to just say without reason, so he continued. "Because of the sand. That ranks as earth, so doton, right?" He blurted, trying to cover up his secret training. It wasn't that he was worried about getting in trouble, more of just wanting to hide his skills somewhat. Another basic skill that academy students probably weren't expected to learn. He would never understand people wanting to restrict mental abilities to certain ranks.

(( I'm calling meta-game on that "I know about your secret training.". Even if she did, which she should not. There is no reason whatsoever for her to have mentioned it there. ))

David rolled his eyes, staring at the kage again. "Here we are back at the start. You ask me to do something without even telling me what it is. Am I supposed to magically gain the knowledge of how this taijutsu works just from you telling me to start?" Turning his head away, he hefted the weights on his arms, getting a feel for them. He had some fun ideas for these, but that would have to wait. For now, he had to keep working on this 'teacher' until she finally taught him something. Other than how to keep your cool in an extended debate with someone who made no sense.

She sighed"If you had been paying attention to anything i said at all, you would have heard me say to start walking around,then when you get used to walking in then start to jog,then run, you can stop when you can run in them for more then 5 miles"She said
