Terrion felt torn. If only they could just slice Aun's throat and be done with it, but the mansion was to fall at any second and she was afraid they'd get trapped.

Eve! Ben! Rogue! Nova! If you can hear me, head for the nearest exit and meet the rest of us outside! We can finish this later! Aun will be without headquarters for a while! She took one last glance at the trio and threw down her swords, they would only hinder their flight from the mansion. She stepped outside into the garden and cast a tired and worried glance at Zoe. Then she felt woozy and slumped to the ground.

Blood. Everywhere. What has Aun done to me? There's no cut! Her eyelids fluttered and shut.

"No!" Eve panted. "Leave her alone!" Most of her energy was gone and she was sure she would faint at any moment.
She reached for her dagger and took it out, using it to defend herself. The dagger was a normal dagger then. Eve didn't have the strength to give it any power. She looked around the room and had an idea. There was glass everywhere. What if she could use it to her advantage?
Eve struggled to her feet and picked up a piece of sharp glass that cut her hand. She threw it with all her might at Aun. The glass cut at Aun's cloths and made him loose his concentration. Nova fell to the floor with a little blood oozing out from an unknown wound, but he was still alive.
Eve sighed with relief and grabbed another piece of glass.
I'm sorry, Terrion, but I need to finish this! Aun won't escape this time!
She threw the piece of glass and it hit Aun in the side. "Aun, you will not control any of us ever again!"

Rogue ran for Nova and his eyes fluttered open at her touch. "Nova...Nova..." She murmured and he smiled faintly. "Rogue...I..." "Shh..." She placed her fingers on his lips. "Don't talk now...I'm going to get you and everyone else out of here...."
But her eyes widened as she heard the familiar sickening thud of blade into flesh and both her and Nova whirled around. "Zoe!" Rogue yelled and they both ran over to her. Rogue's heart nearly stopped as Zoe's head fell back and she quickly checked her pulse. It was still there.
She clenched her fist and summoned her shadows. It gathered in one sharp spike and rushed at Aun. At the last possible second, Aun made Nova appear in front of him and the shadows stopped a nano second later.
"Too late."
Aun appeared behind her and she felt a fleeting pain below her ribcage and looked down. A bloodied blade had embedded itself in that position and she raised a shaky hand to touch it and collapsed. "Rogue!" She heard Kaien and Nova yell at the same time, but she had no more strength to look up. She looked at Zoe, and stretched out her hand, sending the energy she had left into her. "Live..." She willed her friend and her eyes slowly closed.
Nova felt the bonds around him disappear and he fell to his knees, no longer having the strength to fight. He crawled to Rogue, who was slowly disappearing and his hand shook as it passed through hers. "No...No, no, no, Rogue..." He whispered frantically and tried to touch her face but felt nothing but air. "See you....In the....Next life...." She smiled faintly and melted into shadows. Nova was left holding onto the shadow of his heart.
Kaien snarled, grabbing the discarded sword and jumping at Aun. How could he....?! His own daughter?! He wanted to cut that insane smirk off of his face so badly.

Ben stood, shaking. "You are so stupid Aun. Doing this isnt going to hurt us and make us bend to you. Itll only make us more agaisnt you, havent you realized that yet?" He said, smirking lsightly. Ben's pale skin turned Black, and he grew, his swords growing with him. "Now Ill show you what real pain is." He growled, his voice much deeper then usual. Ben lunged, and swung. Aun dodged, but Ben was faster. He kicked off a wall, and cut a large gash into Aun's side. Black liquid came out of the cut, and Aun howled in anger and pain.

Zoe's eyes fluttered, her body felt as if it was on fire. She pulled her self to sit up, and gripped the dagger. She pulled it out, and screamed in pain. She looked over Aun, growling. She pulled it up with one arm, and aimed. Aun was dodgig Ben's every move, but he was growing tired. Zoe aimed, "This is for my family." She whispered, throwing the dagger with deadly acuasy. It hit Aun's stomach hard, impaling itself deep. Aun looked at Zoe, his eyes full of hate. He growled, diving for her. Zoe shiftied to a bird, and flew out of Aun's way. Aun landed next to Rogue, and smiled. "Rogue no!" Zoe scremaed, diving. She landed on Aun's back, pulling out her sword. She digged it into his back. "Thats for Rogue!" She screamed at him, pulling it out. It was covered in black blood, and Aun howled pain and anger. He fell to his knees. Zoe jumped back as he turned, his face distorted in rage. "You will pay for this!" He screamed, lunging. Zoe walked backwards slowly, holding up ehr arms in defense. "No Zoe!" Ben screamed, knocking Aun out of the air. Zoe felt tears rush down her alreayd tear stained cheeks as she ran to Rogue, glancing back at Ben and Aun evety once in a while. She bent down next to Rogue, and picked up her head in ehr arms. "No Rogue, no." she whispered, shaking her friend lightly. "Come on Rogue. Its alright." Zoe whispered, tears falling. She looked up at Nova. "We have to get out, all of us.. Right now." She said, trying to steading her shaking voice. She looked over at Elia and Terr, tears flowing. "Elia, get Terr out, we need to get as far away as we can. Me and Ben have a special plan, one that will end this once and for all." She said, pifting Rogue in her arms. She handed her to Nova, her hands shaking. "Ben, system fail, Ill hold him off." She barked, knocking Aun off Ben just as he pinned him. They rolled around, Zoe's figure kept shifting, never staying at one shape. She bit and ripped at Aun, who growled, stabbing at her with his dagger.

Zoe howled at Ben who nodded, running as fast as he could towards the stairs. "Hurry Ben!" Zoe screamed, taking a cut to her thigh. She growled at Aun, who jumped to his feet, and ascended into the air, picking up piles of rock and pillars with his magic, throughing them at Zoe. Zoe jumped on each, getting closer and closer to Aun. Blood poured out of her wounds fast, making her slightly dizzy, but she fought against it. She leaped from the last pillar, and ackled Aun in the air, sending them bot to a wall.


Ben entered his fathers old room, and pulled out piles of TNT from under the bed. He grabbed a box of matches, and darted back down the stairs. Ben saw Zoe wth Aun, and snickered a litle. He went to each cornor of the room, laying down the TNT. He tied the lines of each to each other in the middle of the room. "Zoe, lets move!" He shouted at her. Zoe snickered. "Your time is up Aun. Its going to end with a bang." She grinned, jumping to the ground. Ben tossed her some ropes, and she tied up the screaming un, taking his dagger. "Light it Ben, we gotaa move." Zoe barked, and Ben nodded, starting a match and putting it to the lines. Zoe tied Aun to a pillar, and smiled. "Zoe go!" Ben screamed, picking her up. They ran to the others, and zoe grabbed Nova, pulling them with her and Ben. Ben saw Elia, Terr and the Hunters. "Run as far as you can, NOW!" Ben screamed, shifting to a wolf. Zoe let go of Nova and Rogue, tears falling at the sight of her friend.

Zoe watched Nova run off the Rogue, and tears flowed fast. "Ben, you get them out." She said, keeping her voice low. She darted out before anyone could utter a response towards Nova and Rogue. "This is all my fault. She did this for me." She muttered, appearing next to Nova. She shifted back to human, and looked at Rogue. "All my fault." She muttered, dropping to her knees. She opened the blood and dirt staind bag on her back, pulling out mutiple small vials. She took two, one a black, and the other a glowing purple. Tears blurred her eyes as she slopply mixed them together until it was a dark glowing green.

Ben looked them over, silencing his few tears. "Get on my back." He barked, his voice soft and sad. He waited until they all had boarded, and darted away, far away. He saw where Nova, Rogue and Zoe where. "You need to go, now or el-" He shouted, and a loud bang erupted from the castle behind them. Rubble flew everywhere. A scream tore from Zoe's mouth. "Ben, move!" she screamed. Ben darted away, restraining from going back. "She can take care of herself." He said, mostly to himself. Zoe shifted to a elephant, blocking the flying rubble from Nova and Rogue. "Go you guys, I cant hold all of this for long." She whispered. "Take the vial, and pour a little into her mouth, but make sure Im around when you do, or else its useless." She whispered, smacking away a boulder of ruble with her trunk. "Now go!" She screamed.

Terrion stumbled as Eve's voice broke into her head.

Let me out! LET ME OUT! Terrion could hear her voice so clear, so desperate. STOP! Aun's terror washed over her as Terrion went down to one knee, crying out, nearly screaming.

"Eve! Eve!" she cried, "EVE!" Elia knelt down beside her, shaking her and shouting above the noise of the crumbling mansion.

"Terrion! Snap out of it!" Elia's voice barely broke through the cascade of loud voices in Terrion's head. Terrion clutched her head between her bloodied hands. Eve's voice still the dominant voice in her mind. LET ME OUT! Eve's voice screamed, LET ME OUT! STOP! LET ME OUT!

"Eve! Zoe! Rogue! Eve!" Terrion chanted, her voice growing hoarse and strained. Elia shook his head and roughly snatched her up in desperation.

"You are not gonna die, you are not gonna die!"

Elia stumbled as something heavy hit his back. A shadow beast had landed on his back. Terr tumbled out of his arms as he lurched forward. Elia unsheathed his sword and parried the second blow.

Suddenly, the voices quieted in Terrion's head. A strong voice, one that she had not heard for over fourteen years eased into the blissfull silence.

"Strength lies within us, within each other. Terrion, remember that. Even when both your mother and I are gone, you must remember that. Your strength is within everyone around you, you must support them as they support you. And you will find peace." Terrion caught an image of a strong, black-haired man with deep, caring hazel eyes holding a tiny child. It took Terr a second to realize that it was a memory of long ago. A thin woman with a small smile, long, dark hair and a light, glass-like blue eyes stood beside Terr's father who sat on an old couch. Terr smiled.

"Peace..." she whispered, even though it hurt to speak. "Our strength lies within each other..." The voices quieted and she could hear her mother and father's laughter and their comforting words.

"Remember us, little one, and peace will be with you..." Terrion struggled to her feet, her voice stronger and firmer.

"Eve. Egil. Zoe. Ben. Rogue. Nova. Terrion. Elia. My strength." she chanted with a smile on her face.
