" Watched. The two inside saw me escape out the window, the two waiting outside noticed you." Though the news was given in a brisk tone, she couldnt hide the unease she felt. they knew what she was up to now, would group her with this man anyway. No, what stuck her like a thorn.. Be angry with me if it makes you feel better.. Lifting her chin she pinned his back with a lethal glare, tossing his waded up Kercheif against the back of his head. It uncrumbled, draping over his hair with unsatisfying grace.. doing nothing to sooth her irritation. her hands settled on her hips as she accused sharply. " You are.. without a doubt.. the stubbornest, most idiotic man i have ever seen. They plan on killing you, and you just jump on the band wagon into their hands.. I will Not protect you."

He took the handkerchief and placed it back in his pocket. "Why are you assuming i will need protection?" he asked her quizzically. "We at the RCS are trained to fight even more so then the training you received. But that's not the point. We will have to take care of the four of them, before they report back. And if they have already, at least take them out so we can escape without being tailed."
He turned to face her. "Unless you have better suggestion?" When he asked her this, the tone of his voice was sincere, and kind. "I am open to any suggestions you may have."

What would she suggest? it had been her own plan to double back and kill them.. not that he needed to know that. " Everyone needs protection, sooner or later." He did not even know what he was jumping into, yet he was ready to go slinking around the dark with her until someone answered his questions. What sort of person was he? Curious she studied him from the top of his head to the tip of his shoes.. and felt a blush rise as she realized he was fairly decent looking. The blush increased as she pushed the thought away, jerking her gaze up to his.. before falling perfectly still. His only warning was her eyes dialating, growing wider.. before her body started to tremble violently. No.. Dont see..

He cocked his head sideways a little bit, when he noticed her eyes dilate. He turned around to see if anyone else had entered the alleyway, though he didn't see anything. "Is everything ok?" He asked as he turned back to her, though he wasn't looking at her, but behind her down further in the alley.

It took a few moments before she moved, each motion cautious as she turned away from him. she was hardly breathing, but it seemed her heart would break through her ribs with how hard it was pounding. Finally it slowed and she took a calming breath, unwilling to look at him after he had witnessed her trouble. Reaching out she braced herself against the wall, wiping sweat from her brow as she whispered softly. " Dont meet my gaze, dont touch me. I cant go into crowds or stay in a locked place, and i cant get near red things." closing her eyes she stood strait, starting to retrace her steps as she added in a harder tone. " Not even I know.. what i will do when the fear takes over. Still want to work with me, luv?"

Brannon was quiet for a few minutes. "So basically don't look you in the eyes, or make physical contact. I think I can manage that. Considering our predicament I can't see how I could leave you alone, so yes I still want to work with you." In truth, it wasn't the situation that made him want to stay. He did feel some sort of attraction towards this woman. Something he couldn't quite put his finger on.

" Baby, your one of a kind." The sarcastic words didnt carry the bite they should have.. More of a grim amusement filling her in place of her defensive shyness. she even smiled a bit, instead sounding resigned as she waved at him over her shoulder. " Come on, Jackson wont allow a report until we are dealt with. He always has been foolish." it felt odd.. but she liked him for his answer. it was nice to be accepted, even if it was just a little.

"Alright." A small smile played at his lips, as he moved up towards her, careful not to get to close. "You know this unit better than I do. What do you think their next plan of action is? And what do you recommend we do?"

" They will burn down my appartment, or atleast burn the objects inside, in case i had any notes there." She didnt.. her house was little more than a place to sleep, she did not get attached to things easily. Leading him towards the west alley she slowed.. gestured toward the street at the far end. The front edge of the patrol car was in view, along with the occasional leg from a paseing officer. drawing her gun she took aim, speaking softly. " He is always left behind to watch the car, the other three must be inside. By the back door there is a kill switch for the lights, do you go in or shall i?"

"I will." He headed towards the back door, moving as swiftly as he had before, when he fled the inside of the church. Once he was in place, he drew his long sword, and handgun. As if on cue, he hit the lights, and dashed inside of the building.
The three men inside could be heard stumbling around looking for a way to turn on the lights. Brannon's eyes burned a bright red, allowing him to see in the pitch black of the building. Moving swift and silent, he made his way to one of the men, who had tripped over a chair, in the confusion. A quick motion with his blade had ended his life. Looking around the room, only one other remained. Raising his gun up, he fired three rounds in quick succession dropping the second man, and alerting the other two men to his presence, and hopefully scaring the last one out of the building, and towards his demise by Dani.

Two shots echoed from outside, true to his thoughts the man by the car had stepped into her line of sight.. A soft sigh escaping her as she turned to fallow Brannon inside. She didnt make it to the door, instead leaning against the alley wall as she pulled her jacket off. She held it to her left side, wraping her arms around her ribs calmly as she waited for him to finish the men inside.

He walked out a few seconds later, his sword already cleaned, and placed in its proper place. When he noticed her standing against the wall, he smiled, more to himself than anything. He walked to her. "So what now?"

" Bed. you should go get rest, we can meet up again tomarrow so i can explain things." Not that she would sleep.. but the sooner she sent him packing, the sooner she could stop enjoying his company. she was messed up enough, without dragging the poor man into her troubles. pushing a hand through her hair she gave no indication of where she would be going, simply standing away from the wall and smiling slightly. " I will get rid of everything here.. Thank you, for being stubborn and helping."

" I-" The reaction was imidiate, her cheerful expression freezing as her body came to a stand still. Her pale blue gaze couldnt move away from his, both fear.. and a hint of mortified irritation resting in their depths. Not now..
