[-Cadoan-] Thankyou for such a wonderful thread! heart Mwahahaha! twisted Okay, I HATE Kairi! She's such a stupid, hateful, BEYATCH! She keeps being all romantic against our 2 favorte love-boys, and is that ''pretty-girl-can't-do-anything-for-herself-and-has-to-be-rescued'' type of girl! scream Oh, I hate her BEYOND words! stressed Oh, and the ending of the game was almost ruined because Riku, in a moment of madness, said ''Take care of her!'' Aarghh! gonk If she wouldn't exist, he would've said ''I Love You,'' to Sora! She ruins everything... *get's nervous breakdown* Oh, I want to tear that pretty little head of her body twisted Sorry, but I think you're being a bit irrational. Not to mention you're letting your personal opinions affect your judgement. stupid? Yeah, I suppose. She certainly isn't the most intellegent person, or she wouldn't be such a damsel in distress. But hateful? b****? No. It may seem that way because of the "dock" scene where she asks to leave Riku. But if you think about it, it's what any girl with her age would think. She's young, she's pretty immature, and she's only thinking about her so-far unrequited crush. People are, by nature, very self-centered. Generally speaking, we only learn to think on a "common good" level with age and experience--which none of the character have yet; not even Sora or Riku. In fact, that's why the island is destroyed in the first place, because Riku was only thinking of his own desperation, not of the consequences of his actions. So go ahead and insult her, just keep in mind that you're actually insulting your fave bishies as well, because the fact is that all of them share the same flaws at the beginning.

She such a whore. I hate kairi and i love sora and riku. I hate her hate her hate her. she should have drown in the ocean or something and leave Sora to his man Riku lol. Love them hate her. Kairi burn in hell

Of course I know that I'm insulting Riku and Sora too. And, yes, I let my personal opinions affect my judgement. But, I can't help myself. I can't get myself to respect her, how much I even try. I look at the characters as real persons, real humans, and I myself would never forgive a person who tried to break 2 of my friends up, so, alas I can't forgive Kairi.

If you haven't noticed, everyone, this is a kid's video game. I doubt that there would be a homosexual relationship that's actually evident in it. Sure, it's fun to fantasize over, but hating a character just because of a pairing that won't happen is very immature.

Okay, I don't like Kairi as a character either, but there's nothing wrong in liking someone who likes someone else or who is liked by someone else. You can't always help it. And last time I checked, Sora was showing interest in her in the first game, too, so it's not like Riku and Sora were just a couple and Kairi is hitting on someone who's already taken.
Just go a bit easier on her, m'kay guys? It gets kinda creepy after a while. D:

I'd have to agree. Some of these rants are kinda extreme..
I began to accept her again but every time I try, something else pisses me off, and it has nothing really to do with keeping anyone apart relationship-wise. She's just a strange cookie to me.

I like Kairi, she's one of my favorite characters. Some of the reasons you guys hate her are um...kind of dumb. Sorry.
Kingdom Hearts wouldn't be Kingdom Hearts without her - what would Sora have been searching for if she hadn't been in the game?
I'm all for Riku/Sora...but bashing a character who isn't even real, mostly because she comes between your favorite pairing, is stupid.
IMO, anyway.

I'm all for Riku/Sora...but bashing a character who isn't even real, mostly because she comes between your favorite pairing, is stupid. IMO, anyway. He could have looked for Riku! He was technically the first one Sora saw leave. *fangirlishness has taken over* =D But I guess she needed to be there...for some things.. Why is she so strange to me?!
