((Alright, so our colors are red, blue, green, and indigo. And in in order to assign them to teams 1-4 I responded in true dork fashion... I rolled a 4 sided die. And the result was red, blue, green, and indigo. So:
Team 1 - Red
Team 2 - Blue
Team 3 - Green
Team 4 - Indigo
There we have it.))

((Of course. For most tabletop games they use use d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, and d20s. I've also seen d100s. I play Dungeons and Dragons regularly, so I have a variety of dice.))

"Insects are so annoying..." Kiro grumbled quietly. He looked back to look for Issac. "Hurry up Issac!" Kiro shouted.

(( I didn't think I needed to. I'm sort of in a hurry so that's all you'll get. ))

"It's okay Tia, don't worry about it. Now, shall we!?" Emma squealed as she spurred Mendoza on. Mendoza was used to just booking it whenever Emma was riding. When the horse took off Emma hollered happily. She started pulling back on the reins, "Whoo hoo, hold on there buddy. We have to wait for those two this time. Don't worry though, you'll get a chance." Emma said. She was already a fair distance away due to Mendoza's habit.

Train glared at the woman, "Do I look like your keeper? You don't need to wait for me, I know where we're going. Like I could lose sight of Tyrone anyway." Train said grumpily. As he spurred on his horse it didn't take long for him to catch up to Tyrone. He let his horse slow a little when he reached his side.

Isaac kind of made a face as he spurred on the horse. It wasn't so bad, certainly better than he imagined it. So long as it didn't wander away of it's own volition. William said it was trained though, so Isaac figured it would listen even if Isaac had no idea what was happening. He had wished he had a better place to put his halberd. If they had to hurry there was a fair chance he'd lose it.

"I hate bugs..." Isaac said as the pair discussed their strategy. Isaac was in the mean time trying to sit up on the horse, but he was still reluctant not to basically hug the horse's neck. He kind of glanced up at the two, "What's a Kyto?" Isaac asked.

Malkin rode in a brooding silence, his hood staying on his head. Poking out of the edges, one could see the tips of horns as well as odd symmetrical ridges on the tops. His odd sword strapped to his back, the thorn design on the hilt evident outside the sheath. Malkin was busy trying to see the path ahead. He was a little worried, as his sight wasn't quite what it was. Sighing out loud, he pulled out a cigarette from his pouch. Lighting it with a flame-stick((Match)), he took a few drags to relax himself. Looking at the large red man that rode beside him, he noted the sphere in the head.
"Hey Matthew, what's with the orb thing? That what lets you go all 'flamey'?" It was an odd thing, and it intrigued him. Such an ability would be useful to implement. Possibly it could be used to enchant a weapon. Imagine a bow or a spear that ignited everything it hit. And if other elemental orbs existed, the possibilities that are capable are enormous.

Gene simply observed in exasperation as Emma, on her massive steed, took off at breakneck speed, flying out ahead of himself and Tia before finally calming the animal and slowing back down.
Even the woman's horse is over excitable...
Gene put Spot into a steady trot, taking his own time to catch up to the senior member of their group. He really hoped that by some chance the team rosters would get altered again when they came back. They had barely even left and he was already overwhelmed by these women.
It's going to be a very long trip...

"Nice of you to join me, Train. What took you so long." Tyrone said with sarcasm as the black clad brawler rode up next to him.
Ty was still slightly frustrated over his assignment to a team, he knew he shouldn't be, because he was going to make sure it was all taken care of when he returned, but he couldn't stop thinking about it. As Matt had said, though, he should just focus on the mission and let everything else become secondary to that. And he was trying, and he was getting there. But it was difficult, there was a very important reason why he had requested to never be assigned a team again.
Ty took a couple of deep breaths, trying to settle himself down. Focus on the mission...

"Ah, my gem." Matt said and lifted one metal encased hand to rap a knuckle against said gem. "It's a souvenir from an early mission. We had been informed of a group of fiends gathering, supposedly around an object of power. So we were sent in to slay and bind the fiends and retrieve the object. And we did all of that. Problem was, we were unaware that the gem binds itself to whoever touches it. When we found it it was laying on the floor of a tomb. I bent down to pick it up and as soon as my fingertips touched it it rose up and disappeared into my hand, as if weren't solid. Then it emerged out of my forehead, and apparently turned solid again. All I remember of that is an excruciating pain before I blacked out. My companions carried me home. They tried removing the thing, but it wont let go short of them cutting my head apart and hopefully taking that thing with one of the pieces. So, that's the story of where it came from." Matt said. He held out his right hand, while still holding the reins in his left. Flames appeared and began to dance from one finger to another, across his hand and back again. "And, yeah. The gem is what lets me create and control fire. It also gives me immunity to the flames, so I can ignite my entire body. The flames that I control have to be connected me, though. If you were holding one of those little fire sticks I couldn't do anything with the flames on it unless I touched them with some part of my body."

Malkin nodded quietly.
"I...see. Have there been any other reports of Fiends gathering? Such an orb may prove to be...useful." Malkin was unable to hide the hunger in his voice. He felt himself fixate on the orb's energy. It had a rather attractive aura to it. To be able to have fire obey his command, he could do anything. Create whips of flames to char his enemies, launch tidal wave upon tidal wave of fire, he could be invincible. Coming to a start, he saw a tendril of his aura stretching for Matthew and the orb. Snapping it back, he fell back into silence, ignoring the orb as best he could.
'That was interesting. Focus on plans to kill a giant turtle.' Sighing, he tried to figure out a way through the more than likely impenetrable shell.

Enyo simply nodded to Train, not saying a word back and tried her best to stay within a fifteen meter radius of Train and Tyrone and not actually completely riding with them since she would more rather have her space and observe everything she could. What an egotistical pair of men... Enyo thought to herself.

Tia did all she could so she didn't make herself look like to be a fool in front of Emma and Gene. She held the reins tightly, making sure she wouldn't lose grip of them and tried her best to keep her horse straight as possible. "Kay, let's go." Tia said, feeling a bit unsure of herself though she was extremely excited.

Kiro turned to look at Issac while riding and maintaining control of his horse at the same time and smiled at him. "The fight you saw with Tyrone and I wouldn't have really gone the way it did if I had used my eye techniques. You didn't think I was just some sword slinging maniac, did you?" Kiro said with a confident smirk. "As for Kyto... There are currently two others, Shyto and Lydon. They all have their own abilities and you will get to see them later once we get deep into our mission." Kiro replied, finally answering Issac's curiosity but leaving a hole in the story to keep him wondering. "Oh, and one more thing. Once I activate them, don't look me in the eye unless you want to become a victim." Kiro warned very last minute in a very quick and subtle manner as if it weren't important.

(( Oh my gosh, I almost called Enyo, Myra... From a different RP. =_= @Stoic From Skyrazor, you know? By the way, did I get the correct colors? o.0))

Emma leaned over towards Gene, "Oh Gene. May I ask exactly what we're after? I didn't actually make it past the whole 'Mission' part. You know how I am in the mornings..." Emma said, trying to embarrass Gene as much as possible in front of Tia. Perhaps he would be more fun that way. Her last statement was said in a tone that could have been considered as 'dirty.' But honestly, she didn't really make it past the part that said she and her team and been given a mission. She had team mates, one of them had to know. And she had the letter on her person somewhere, she was sure. But why bother looking for it?

Train just grumbled at Tyrone. Train was never very impressed with anything. He glanced over his shoulder at Enyo, "Stupid, riding so far away.." Train thought as he then glanced to Tyrone. His aura was swirling. "What's got your knickers in a twist?" Train asked their larger companion.

Isaac had to stop himself from both chuckling and blushing. He kind of had though of Kiro as some sword wielding maniac. But his explanation raised more questions than answers. "Loser..." Isaac thought as Kiro finished. Though he did note the warning that he shouldn't look at Kiro's eyes when whatever it was activated. "And how will I be able to tell when whatever it you're talking about is active? And it sounds like you two have worked together before, based on earlier..." Isaac added. He was still having a little trouble with the horse, but he was getting better even within that short amount of time.

(Just use the same colors as me Azure. Tia's with Emma, Enyo's with Train, and Kiro's with Isaac. Works out great!)

"Aha, well I guess you won't really know." Kiro laughed at Issac. "But experiencing something yourself is probably better anyway." Kiro teased.

Gene rolled his eyes towards Emma, fixing her with an unblinking and emotionless stare. He knew what she was trying to do, and it was not going to work. "We are seeking a snake like fiend. The mission statement said that we are to find a village in the area marked on the map. We will receive more detailed intel from the locals." Gene said. He rolled his eyes back front, so that he was staring ahead once more.

"Nothing important." Tyrone said. He was focused now. The mission was the important thing. He could deal with the team assignments when he got back. Until then there was no point worrying about it. "Let's just focus on the mission. Any thoughts on how to deal with a 'man beast fiend'?"

"There are occasional reports of smaller gathering of fiends. Haven't seen anything on the scale that led to me finding the orb in a long time, though." Matt said. "Maybe we're just too efficient at our jobs, less fiends left to gather together nowadays."

"It will make camping much easier." Yazira joked about Matt's ability to control fire. She pulled her horse between them. Shoba wagged his tail from where he rode pillion behind her sadle. Then she realized it could have been taken badly.
"I'm sorry." she said quietly, staring at the back of her horse's neck. "I think we got off on the wrong foot yesterday." She offered her hand to Matt. "I am called Yazira."

"My name's Matt. Good to meet ya Yazira. And, yeah, it makes lighting a campfire awfully simple." Matt said, acting as if he'd never seen the woman before.
Matt figured that the previous night had not been her best side, she had acted only what what she had seen. Given the circumstances, if he had not known the way things were handled like her, he might have acted similarly. She simply had Malkins best interest at heart, and he could not fault her for that. Besides, that kind of thinking would increase his chances of coming back alive, if she were there protecting him as well.
