Seeing Kamui's smile Aoi returned it and took some sheets and covered him with them gently.The worse was over. Kamui was going to pull through and Aoi could finally relax. The biological functions of the body began to take over as Aoi sat down and closed her eyes. Even though Aoi normally did not need sleep Sheena's body had to be taken care of.
Aoi closed her eyes for a moment and gently dozed off to sleep.

“It is not important right now Bella, we can explain when Uncle Gabriel is back and you are well enough to handle the stress of what happened to Charlotte as it is. We need that tubing back in your arm. I bet it hurts you deeply.” Chris’ words were kind as he saw the nurse finally and watched her take care of fixing it for Bella. He was grateful as he let the nurse do her job that she was paid to do as well as watch intently.
“My brother is right Bella, it can be told when you are better.”
Kamui’s smiling face never ceased as his hand managed to find its way to Aoi’s back gently massaging it in his sleep. It was not intentional, but it was something he did to comfort someone he loved.

Bella shook her head, "Please tell me, I need to know what happened." She said sitting up in the bed. Her heart began to race, she looked at her cousin trying to see what was wrong with her. Her hands stopped petting Pacifica. "Do you know what is wrong with her?" she asked Pacifica, just wanting to know the answer to her question.

“You’ll have to wait till you’re better Bella. It’s for your own good. It’s why we can’t tell you now. You’re heart is racing and sending your monitor out of whack. Please calm down, if we tell you now you might pass out on us. That would be of no good to you.” Chris did his best to calm his cousin. He was thinking exactly as a doctor would as he gently hugged Bella without messing up any of the wires hooked up to her.
Charlotte shook her head in not telling just yet. “I’m sorry, it’s too soon to talk about it. When you are better, then we’ll talk.” Charlotte knew the truth as did their uncle and Chris.

Vyram looked up at Bella and nodded. "She is right. You shouldn't get too overexcited in your condition." He said walking over to the side of the bed to get close to Bella, in a comforting manner. "Rest for now, and you will most assuredly find out when you have had sufficient rest." He implored of Bella.

Bella half smiled, "How is this for a deal, I will calm down when you tell me what happened to you Charlotte. Please tell me, I promise after you tell me I will calm down."

“I can’t! It’s too soon…I was scared as it was just telling Uncle Gabriel!” Charlotte would bolt out of the room then in tears remembering her fright.
Chris stayed for the moment with Bella as he sighed and looked at her. “This is partially why we said it was too soon. She is still in fright over what happened. When Uncle was told, she was unconscious and was not harmed by what occurred. Will you trust in my judgment in waiting till not only you have recovered as well as her own fright has subsided?” Chris got up then to give chase after Charlotte and found her crouched low in tears staining her white outfit as he would hug her gently like he would child.

(( Pretty darn close to that. There are a couple dragons outside somewhere, but most of us are up a couple of floors in the hospital.))
Bella had nothing she could do. She lay back in the bed, pondering the worst. Was her cousin pregnant, had worse things happened to her. What was wrong. She couldn't imagine.

Aoi was startled as she was touched. She was not sure how but in his sleep Kamui was gently touching her shoulders. Aoi smiled as she slowly inched closer to him. Maybe he was just clingy when he was asleep. Either was his strong hands felt relly good as she let him unconsciously massage her shoulders.

Kamui continued to massage Aoi till finally his hand stopped and just rested on her shoulder. He had finally woken up enough that he seemed to take the breathing mask off his lips. The speedy recovery wished for had come true. He was now at seventy-five percent health now and was able to breathe on his own as he took the mask completely off. His heart rate even had improved greatly as he would sit up carefully so that Aoi could sleep.
Chris would continue to comfort Charlotte who just continue to cry from fear.

Kamui's massage helped Aoi sleep as the rhythmic sensation lulled her to rest. So much has happened to today and it really took a lot out of all of them. Normally Aoi wouldn't even need sleep but with a physical form she needed to follow the rules of the living.
