Deadpool opened his mouth to answer, then paused... then frowned. Had he mentioned the fact that he was a mercenary? Not explicitly... Had he? Maybe she'd just figured it o- Read the thought boxes, you dumb-a**! a sharp, irritated voice in his head snapped. Deadpool made a face; he wasn't a very nice person, was he? Not even to himself. I should get councili- READ THE BOXES! Oh. Right.
After a couple of seconds, his expression cleared. "Ooooh." He then studied the girl for another second or two. Interesting. Weird, actually, weird was a better word. This had never happened before, at least not to his knowledge. "So," he said conversationally, "What did you think of the X-men Origins movie? I've heard some mixed reviews."
((Edit: I'll be back in a bit; chores.))

Chris's eyes widened. He knew. Of course he knows you idiot, he breaks the fourth wall! She rolled her eyes at herseld and listened to Deadpool. Seriously. he went there? She thought to herself making a mental faceplam. "You really don't want to get me started on that movie. They utterly butchered it!" She couldn't believe that she was actually going along with this But it's better then getting your self killed. a voice in the back of her head reminded her. Yes I suppose it is... She replied in thought Ugh. I really am losing it. "They took away your mouth." She added with a smirk. Maybe it wouldn't be as bad as she'd thought.((okie dokie))

Deadpool made a face. "Sick bastards. I mean, I'm sick, and I think that's sick. Not that I saw the thing," he added hastily, "They obviously don't show it here." He paused and cocked his head. "So... What are you doing here?"

Chris sighed, "I wish I knew. i was coming home from work and ended up here." She shook her head. She really needed a nap. "I'm still convinced this is just a really kick butt dream and I'll be waking up soon." She said "I'd ask you to try and kill me or something but honestly, knowing you, you'll probably oblige and this whole thing'll turn up being real." she chuckled to herself imagining the thought. She had that sort of luck.

Shocker was getting annoyed at Deadpool, but he had to remember how much the pay was and how it wasn't actually illegal as far as he knew to take this job either. As payment, Shocker got upgrades to his gauntlets and a nice bounty for finding and getting Deadpool back to the Commissar's place; easy as pie since Deadpool was going to get played anyway. Shocker dismissed the two's talk about the X-Men movie as mere stupidity since no one would dare make a movie on the X-Men when Senator Kelly was still in politics, so what were these two getting at?
"If you two had enough about talking fantasy, I have a job to do involving you Deadpool. Some talking brain wants some of your blood or something and he is paying top dollar to both me and you if you go to Gotham and see him...You can take your friend I guess...She doesn't seem like one of you freaks besides her absence of a clear reality."
Shocker then needed to calm himself a bit so he didn't try to kill Deadpool after all he had said about Shocker. The number one reason was Deadpool was extremely hard to kill due to the healing rate he had and two Shocker knew why he took petty jobs and stole purses because he could; Super heroes paid little attention to petty crimes and Shocker always did the minor jobs while everyone else was busy which was the main reason why he was successful. There were times he accidently ran into Spiderman on occasion, but Shocker never considered him one of the people he actually went after.
"So, you going to cooperate?"

Chris glared at Shocker, "I know waaaaaay more about reality then you, you dirty rotten no good suckish lame superhero villain thing wannabe!" She stamped her foot on the ground, stuck her head up and stormed away crossing her arms and glaring at him when she stopped behind Deadpool. She figured he'd be the safest person to hide behind in case she ticked off Shocker.

Deadpool's eyes widened at the word 'blood'. "No. No way. No way in hell. And you can tell that creepy skeleton guy that he can do his own damn dirty work. Now, normally I'd do the polite thing and stick around to kick your a**, but I have a strict 'No losers' policy when it comes to fights. Unless I'm getting paid to fight a loser," he added quickly, "But that goes without saying." He turned and offered his arm to Chris. "Shall we?"

Chris smirked, "We shall." She took his arm. She'd rather go anywhere expect be with Shocker alone.

"Not him you idiot, someone else... He needs your blood for some operation or something...Says it's because of Weapon X, that whole freak program. Says he wanted you since you might give a sample for cash since Wolverine and...That other mutant wouldn't give up a sample lightly."
Shocker wasn't really paying attention when the Commissar was yelling all the things he was suppose to know for the mission of finding Deadpool nor did he really care since it sounded easy at first and paid well, extremely well and this time the Commissar promised not to pay in Russian currency back from the Soviet days again. If Deadpool didn't agree, Shocker wouldn't get the rest of his cut.
"Listen to me you psychotic freak, I'm getting paid to get you to Gotham and I certainly can't do it with you in pieces, so maybe I should just point my gauntlet at your girlfriend?"
Shocker knew he couldn’t kill Deadpool, but he could kill the girl with ease if she was just another psychotic. Raising his right gauntlet, Shocker pointed it at Chris, his button on the trigger. Shocker didn't like killing people he was getting paid to kill and in reality killing her would make it impossible to get Deadpool to willingly go to Gotham;, but there was little choice.

Deadpool turned back to the Shocker, blew a raspberry at him, and teleported away with Chris. Heh. What a loser.

"I hate that guy...So very much I hate him...Well, plan B, I suppose."
Plan B was to track down Deadpool and take some of his blood by force, though Shocker had no clue where the freak had went, so it was off to wondering the streets again.

Ghost Rider looked at her, and an expression of confusion almost forced itself onto his skull. "Do you wish to have my help? I cannot help you if allow Daniel to resurface."

Black Cat almost glared, but thought better of it. "Yes, I want your help. There's just... this little girl I'm sort of ... looking after, and I'm afraid you'll give her nightmares for the rest of her life. I guess it can't be helped, though," she grumbled, "Let's go."

Ghost Rider simply said, "The innocent have nothing to fear from me," and then whipped his chain around in a circle over his head a few times, to give it momentum, before slinging it like a whip towards the roof of the building. At first, this would seem rediculous, as the chain was only about three or four feet long, but it grew in length as it flew through the air until it was long enough to reach the roof edge, at which time the end it the chain embedded itself into the building. Ghost Rider took a hold of Black Cat around the waist. Then, the chain started shrinking at an alarming rate, almost like a grappling line, and cleanly deposited the two of them on the balcony of the penthouse Black Cat had pointed out. The chain came out of the building, shrank back to its original size, and wrapped itself around his torso again, reconnecting at the ends seamlessly.

Black Cat immediately stepped down inside of the apartment, and quickly walked to the bedroom where she'd left Rosie. "Rosie?" she called softly, not wanting to wake the little girl if she was asleep. "Ro-" The bed was empty. Black Cat stared at it for a second, panic rising in her chest despite her efforts to suppress it. The kid wasn't her problem, anyway. Never had been.... Damn it. She walked back into the living room, her expression carefully aloof. "This is where it happened," she told him.
