eulailyan mikoto You look so cute! Love the hat. I think I would prefer the skirt if you had the skeleton facing the side though. Very pretty lady! ^///^ Thank you so much! I don't understand what you mean about the skeleton, though. I was so lucky with that skirt- my aunt sent it to me in a Halloween-themed care package. (Complete with glittery skull candles! I love my family.) She went to art school in the eighties, and her friend made it for her, right down to designing that skeleton. There's another printed on the back as well, though I can't remember what direction he's facing. (I'll disregard the fact that the skirt sits in my dresser not five feet behind me, if I were to get up from my desk now it would be to crawl into bed.)

I meant instead of the skeleton being on your front, so have it on the side of the skirt, though if there's one on the back as well, I imagine that would look a little silly, so disregard! smile

Not really steampunk, but very inspired by it and well, pretty much we did what we could with what we had. I'm the one in the dress, my best friend is the one wearing pants. (She looks by far more steam then I do) Most of the stuff are second hand vests, hats and jackets as well as some homemade stuff and a few "goth" items.

My desk is next to my bed, so i sit on my bed to use my laptop, best of both worlds! xd i need to get an updated photo of me on here too... ooh, i will be participating in a takeover of the Oxford vs. Cambridge boat race. except ours has a Pirates vs Ninja's theme. naturally, i will be commanding a fine seaworthy steampunked vessel (A row boat, with a steampunk bodywork, and powered by an outboard motor, basically, a 1-man airship in a river) and i will be on the pirates side, with my wenches. we are hoping to provoke the Oxford/Cambridge students into racing us too

Hi there smile @Nathaniel: I love your dresses, they look elegant and classy smile Reminds me of 1880-1910 era. I just joined today (to this guild) smile Nice to meet you guys. I've been looking through this topic before joining the guild and I love all the outfits I've seen on the photos here, they're fabolous! smile I've been designing my first steampunk outfits in real, with the usage of home-found clothes and accesories. Which I don't have (yet): leather boots, corset long skirt, goggles, leather coat, fitting hat or top hat... Boots may come sometime in December. As I looked around, I found some accesories that look steampunkish in my opinion smile Minibook and magnifying glassLadybug Clock smile "Music box" without boxAnd 2 outfits for now (the 1st pic shows my very 1st steampunkish outfit) I know they are not as good... sweatdrop But I'm curious of your opinions smile Scary? sweatdrop It's a bit too masculine maybe... (note: I'm wearing the ladybug clock as a pendant in my neck which I linked a picture of above; and there's a little locket attached on the lower "bow" of the vest) And leather gloves ftw ^^

Some of the stuff here is really cool. I don't have any pictures that are really steampunk-y but here's a picture I edited to look sepia-ish...It should do for now.

I dressed up to go Christmas shopping yesterday. It's about as festive as I get. (My eyes are closed, my mom took the picture...) Particularly the jingle belt: it is simple and rather festive, as it jingles softly with every step.

Agent Ginrei Wow there is some really great stuff going on here! Here's some random stuff i've done: These are flippin' amazing! biggrin A very considerable dose of style sir! The overall image reminds me of a steamy film I saw the other day called Perfect Creature. But yes, nicely done! I wish my trenchcoat was as nice as yours! I don't suppose your steampunk persona has a back story does he?

Wow, thank you for your kind words Annie Anthrax! ^_^ I totally lucked out on the leather trenchcoat. I found it cheap at a super discount store. As for backstory, i don't have one because this is actually something i just tossed together for fun out of my normal clothes. XD

This is actually a pretty standard fashion of mine. Alas, I do not own a bowler or top hat, but I am on the lookout. It consists of: 1 Black Hat 1 Patched Leather Longcoat 1 White Buttonup Shirt 1 Black Vest 1 Pair Black Pants 1 Pair Leather Shoes 1 Black Cane
