Kokoroki Firewolfblue 着きました～！！！ mrgreen I still can't believe it, I'm so overwhelmed!! The campus is huge, very nice, very organized, the dormitory is comfortable, with computer room, lounge room...I'm so happy rofl whee
I'm still 'lost' a little, but it won't take long to accustom myself, I've already took a bus and explored the nearbies...now I only have to find a coffee shop! wink Voglio un caffe'e'e'e'e'e!!!! xd Anch'io!
Dite quello che volete ma il caffe' italiano e' ME-RA-VI-GLIO-SO!

I wouldn't mind learning some Italian -- I'm part Italian, from a few hundred years back, and I'd love to learn some basic Italian to the very least.

I dunno much about Italian yet but I wanna start learning some soon, so maybe some of you can answer a couple questions for me before I get started:
1] As with Spanish, does the accent mark indicate that the syllable stress falls with that vowel?
2] Does the g (after e or i) make a zh sound or a j sound?
3] What are the conditions on which the s can make a z sound?

Yes, and it's usually at the end of a word. 2.) I've heard both. 3.) It depends. Not at the beginning of a word. Before vowels. I don't believe before consonants.
