"Leaving the Dark Clan is the same as escaping.." Dusk planted his feet on the ground and glared at her before staring at Ayumu, "I wonder, were you planning on infiltrating the Dark Clan?" Dusk could sense a faint, yet familiar aura from Ayumu, and already he didn't like it.
Ayumu missed Freyr's hint and pulled out two daggers, "I planned to later, but it doesn't look like I'll get a later..."
Ayumu chanted some words under his breath and a strong gust of wind slammed into Dusk, sending him skidding backwards. In the meantime, Ayumu used that as an opportunity to fly next to Dusk and make an attempt at slashing Dusk's throat while Dusk was busy trying to regain his balance. It was a failed assault. Dusk was able to knock one of the daggers out of Ayumu's hand with one of his wings, which then burst into a cloud of feathers that surrounded Ayumu and held him in mid-air. Dusk growled, "Fool...did you seriously think that you could defeat me with such simple tools?"
"..." Ayumu only glared at Dusk, breathing heavily after expending much of the remainder of his energy on the wind spell.
Dusk eyebrows furrowed when he realized that Ayumu gave off the same presence as the trees from earlier, "And a piece of that tree still exists?"
Dusk glanced at Freyr, "Search him and destroy whatever part of the tree he's carrying...I will not have it exist..."
Of course Ayumu wasn't carrying anything of the trees. The thing that Dusk felt was actually Ayumu himself, but Dusk had mistaken it for a normal person with part of the tree in his possession.

Freyr sighed then grinned evilly, "Whatever...." Nooo Can't have a lackey do it, or a robot. Freyr do this. Freyr do that. Freyr save my butt before it's blown to Kentucky. She walked over to Ayumu and began patting him down, "I don't know who's a bigger idiot, "She said, "You or dusk." She grumbled to herself, "Nothing, But i could've told you that Mister high and mighty!"

"Feh, I'll just ignore that..." Dusk scowled before giving another command with an angered tone of voice, "Go drag him near the portal. If the energies don't effect him, then the demons there will tear him to shreds..." It would of course also get Freyr back into the Dark Clan and away from the battle.
Ayumu closed his eyes, "If that is how this is going to end...so be it..." He sounded as if he had just given up, but in actuality Dusk's decision may very well give him a chance to escape. However, he wasn't prepared for what was coming next. One of the other wings circled around and gave Ayumu a hard knock to the head, causing Ayumu to go limp. The feathers that were holding him returned into a wing shape, and attached to Dusk's back while letting Ayumu fall. Ayumu's fate now rested in Freyr's hands.

"You egoistical, insufferable, incorrigible dumbass...." She continued to mumble these thoughts under her breathe as she dragged Ayu's body away. She quickly turned back to Dusk, "I'll catch up whether you like it or not!" Freyr then stalked away. About an hour later she was talking to Ayumu's unconscious figure as she drug it, "If you weren't so stupid you could've avoided the pain. Your just lucky your not dead! Next time, listen to me, I'm not stupid." She deliberately rocked him over some thorns. "Oh Wake up!"

Dusk went back to flying next to Zero, "Minor inconveniences..."

Ayumu's body felt numb to him, then he could slowly feel the sting of the thorns poking into his skin. He groaned, opening one eye groggily and looked down to see that he was lying on top of a clump of thorny vines. Then he opened both eyes and looked around, "What...where...?"

Freyr pulled him along harder, "Wake up you idiot!" She dropped him and poked the man with her finger, "Uppy Uppy! WAKE UP!" She raised an eyebrow, "Unless you WANT to go back to hell. Just hurry, I need to catch up with that army!"

"Nnnn.." Ayumu grabbed her arm and stood up, then looked down at himself to find that he had been scratched up badly, "You actually want me to follow you? After you had me stay long enough to meet face to face with Dusk? I wish to believe that you have good intentions, but it is difficult to do that after what happened..."
He let go of her arm after looking at the portal, which was within a few minutes walk from them. He squinted, analyzing the intensity of the damage that the portal had caused. The last time he saw it, it wasn't nearly as bad. But somehow, even though he knew he should get away, he felt drawn to it and started to walk his way to the thing, "I might be able to do something about that..."

"Very well," Ayumu said angrily before grabbing her hands and removing them from his shirt. Then he started to walk ahead of her, back towards the River Clan. The decision to change his direction upset him more than what he was used to, to the point he knew that something was wrong. He quickened his pace, dreading the thought that it had something to do with the portal effecting him.

You're the one who brought me here in the first place. You're the reason this is happening."
The arm lifted and then turned around to bring Freyr closer to him, "Why don't you stay here? It's safer for you to stay here than to catch up with the army, isn't it? Let them do their thing. I'm sure that they are fully capable of killing off the River Clan people just fine."
His thoughts twisted in and out, between his darker self and good side. It would be difficult to determine who it was that was doing the talking, even Ayumu wasn't sure.
