What else is new? came the amused reply from Dracon. The dragon is a baby, those are rare creatures. It's coloring does not match with any of the elements so I would venture to guess he's the offspring of Meridian...

Sage gave the mental equivalent of a scowl. So what of the girl? Is she really related to the child or is she merely trying to trick us?

I've heard rumors that the dragon had an encounter with a vampiress that resulted in four children. This girl may be one of them...

I've heard the rumors too...I've even heard Meridian managed to save three of those four children...It could be. Think we should verify it?
