Z, don't even get me started on that. neutral I hope she gets hit by a bus that has eighteen rustic wheels and they have reversed nails on the rim. :< It doesn't even deserve the two stars it has.
I will laugh so freaking cold in a rabid Kataanger's face if Zutara wins, that I can even give Azula chills. {Is tired of being nice about it.}

Should I even bother responding to that? Because within the first 30 seconds of the video, I had an argument against her statement.
I mean, seriously, how is looking at the OmaShu story as symbolism crazy? Dx I've always thought it was pretty logical to look at stories within a story as foreshadowing. There put there for a reason, right?
We've come up with crazier theories than this - way crazier, and I'm not ashamed to admit it (nothin' wrong with having fun analyzing, is there?), yet she chooses this as her first 'lesson'?
Also, hating a nation is no reason to hate a person. stressed Seriously. Messages for forgiveness and balance and acceptance are huge in this show.
... Screw it. I need to rant at this. D<

rachaella22 Screw it. I need to rant at this. D< Rant away because no matter what I did, no matter how logical and unfangirlish I sounded, my words fell upon deaf ears and blind eyes. I said it myself [Name is Tetra935 on Youtube] : Oma and Shu were from the two villages that were raging war with one another, but they were able to overcome this difference and fall in love.

You know what really pisses me off? When people ridicule and bash us to no end, and yet say, "Haha, hey, wait, I was only joking : P why're you so mad and upset? Take a joke." F(Pardon my french)UCK YOU! That's like walking up and smacking someone for wearing red because you don't like it and then to your defense saying, "Haha, just kidding! Didn't mean to hurt you or anything, I just hate red :]]]]]]"

Screw it. I'm not gonna give her the satisfaction of seeing me angry. People like that feed off of it.
I did, however, write a long rant. Rather than letting it go to waste, I'mma post it here. xPrachaella22 Moments =/= Development. Something has to actually change in the characters or the relationship for it to be development. In the case of Kataang and CoTL, things were the exact same between them by the next episode. Which, timeline-wise, is about two minutes after the last scene in CoTL. However, there was a lot of emphasis on the OmaShu story, which, to me, shows it's important - symbolic, probably. Looking at stories within a story as foreshadowing isn't ridiculous. There's been crazier ideas. Forgiveness and acceptance are huge messages in this show. Meaning I highly doubt Zutara wouldn’t happen simply because of Katara’s dislike of the Firenation. Actually, it’s not even the Fire Nation she dislikes – it’s the soldiers and the war. They’re the ones who took away her mother. Not Zuko. She wouldn’t blame him for that. People like “The Waterbending Scroll’ because of the tension and the anger. Not the romance and undying love. Dx Seriously. I don’t think anyone said Zuko and Katara loved each other at that point. Or for any point so far in the series, for that matter. And it’s the yin and yang feel of the moment from the S1 finale that people like. It’s interesting that Zuko smiles when Iroh mentions waterbending. Does it mean he’s passionately in love with Katara? No. But, at that point in the episode, he didn’t know what the technique his uncle his uncle was going to teach him was. He didn’t know it could render Azula’s most powerful technique useless. -.-;; Zuko was angry and distraught when Katara offered help. He didn’t trust her and didn’t know of her healing abilities. Does that mean he can never, under any circumstance, love her? No. It just means they were enemies at that point in the series. ANYONE would blush after just kissing someone, whether they’re their friend or lover. It’s a normal reaction, not a sign of true love. I don’t think we said Katara was in love with Zuko during Cod. We said they developed a deep bond (meaning trust and empathy for each other) over their shared pain and that it was meaningful for Katara to offer healing to her enemy. Same goes for the scene previously mentioned in ‘The Chase’. The look IS important. The emphasis on it is, anyway. It shows that Katara and Zuko regret being interrupted – not because they’re madly in love, either, though. People don’t have to be in love for moments between them to have meaning. FOUR MINUTES SPAWNED THIS MUCH ANGER!!! D<
Also, incase you're confused by just reading it, I suggest watching the video as you go. Painful, I know. gonk

Seriously, I deal with people like this at my university. Thats right, UNIVERSITY! Supposedly mature beings who will still sit there and tell you 'kataang rules becuz Aang luvs katara and Zuko hates katara' *sokka-style slaps forehead* I used to have a hard time dealing with such people, but lately I've been having it easy (thanks to the NYCC trailers). Now I just counter by saying things such as 'Oh really, and what does have KATARA have to say about either one?' In all honesty, I am wondering why some shippers tend to overlook that fact....the Jetara fans certainly didn't lol
I'm looking forward to laughing at the Kataang people in my dorm when Zutara happens. I will laugh and squee so much their ears will bleed for days! rofl

Dementia DarkMoon Where's the ever so rare logical Kataanger so I can kiss them?! ;3; Scroll in the comment page and you should find it easily. Your ramble is what we all think, Rach. July, come fast enough if you have too. Rip yourself from the calendar and replace yourself in front of May. Figures the month that has a tie to the character [Mai] is what keeps us from seeing our ATLA. xp
