Conall smiled and grabbed his coat. He grabbed his Marine Corp. zippo and his wallet. He handed the zippo to Amara.
-"My father gave me that a few days before he died. He was a big Marine Corp. fan."
Conall opened his wallet and began flipping through some pictures of a man and woman with wolfish faces, and occasionally a small infant with them.
-"Those are my parents. My father, Ralph, he was the alpha. He was always trying to make peace with other species. He was kind, caring, but he was a bit of an a*****e. My mother, Accalia, she was always level-headed, even when she while she was being killed. She had a demanding presence, and was a fierce mother. And, as you can see, that's me right there."

Sorry I've been gone so long, I was busy helping out with a freebie art thread in the vampire home base during the event, and I haven't been able to connect today until just now...
Violet yawned and closed the copy of "Far From Xanadu" by Julie Anne Peters she'd found, stretching her arms behind her back as she stood up. She walked out of the library, mostly looking for something to do before class that wouldn't make her lose control of her emotions... she was already struggling to keep her emotions in check from what happened earlier this morning, and the book she had been reading hadn't been helping any. Maybe she could find that guy Zander, he was pretty cool to talk to. As she walked through the halls, she saw him, leading a large bulk of a guy who was really hard to miss. "Hey, Zander! Who's your friend?" she asked, looking at the largish young man with interest.

After nearly an hour of trying to coerce a response out of the girl. She was slumped against the wall. Is she a shapeshifter? she wondered. I've never heard that humans are shapeshifters! She picked the girl up, slinging her over her shoulder, and began walking. Oh, no! What if the humans shapeshift on a regular basis? By not changing, I might be proving that I'm not human! She hurried the girl into her dorm.

"Oh, hey Violet. This is... um... Wedge." Zander said, realizing Wedge had his nose buried in a magazine with a blonde guy and a kid with red hair and a white bandana crossing swords angrily on the cover. "Hey, Wedge, you alive in there?"
Wedge looked up from the magazine "Hiya." he smiled coyly and retreated to his issue of Manga and Games. He could be at least a little social when he wanted, but this article on the prospect of Square-Enix giving the deluge of Final Fantasy a short break and getting back to some of Squaresoft's older franchises, him being a die-hard Chrono Trigger fan. It also took his mind off Biggs for a while.
"Sorry, I guess he isn't in a talkative mood." Zander said. "He kinda got seperated from a friend of his and I'm trying to help him find him. You wouldn't happen to know Victor Biggs, would you?"

Kamon walks out of the lunch room after taking advantage of the fact that schools are not good at keeping him out of the vending machines. He stole five or six of the root beers and headed down the hall dirnking them he walked past Zander drinking the root beer.

"Never heard of him, sorry, but I can help you look for him if you want." Violet said, then she looked at the cover of Wedge's magazine. "Hey, is that the latest issue?" she asked, coming around beside him and looking over his arm at the article he was reading. "Really? Square Enix is going to focus on other franchises? I really hope they do another game in the Chrono Trigger series, that was one of my favorite games when I was a girl. Lucca was, like, my idol." Violet said.

"Really? Cool!" Wedge said, mildly shocked. "It's about time, too. I always felt a little bit gypped after they cancelled Chrono Break, Cross just really left more questions than it answered." He decided he might as well open up a conversation, after all, how often does one come across a girl who likes video games, especially RPGs? "I mean, I like Final Fantasy as much as the next guy, but after about twenty games, they really should balance that energy into the other franchises too."
"Never played Chrono Trigger myself," said Zander, "but I played a demo of Chrono Cross once, they anything alike?" and that was when he saw Wedge's face go totally tense.
"In name only." he responded. Zander immediately decided to drop the subject like a hot potato.

Violet nodded as Wedge said that Chrono Cross was only similar to Chrono Trigger in name. "He's right, Chrono Cross takes place in an entirely different dimension than Chrono Trigger. There was supposed to be a direct sequel to Chrono Trigger back in 2001 called Chrono Break, but Square never got around to making it. Probably would have sold a lot more copies than Chrono Cross, I'll tell you that much for sure." she said, translating a bit for Zander. She then noticed the guy drinking root beer nearby. "Hey, I thought the vending machines didn't have root beer..." she said, confused.

"Hey, YEAH!" said Zander, looking a little bit depraved. "Dude, where'd you get those? I'll give you a buck for one!"
"God, some people just can't curb an addiction, can they?" Wedge commented as he put down his issue of Manga and Games, pulled out his DS (replacing the battery with one of the spares he kept in his pouch) and began playing Tales of Phantasia.

"Maybe they were just labeled wrong... I remember at my old school, you'd hit the button for a Sprite and get a Mr. Pibb..." Violet said. "Like seriously, who drinks Mr. Pibb anyway? That's like the foulest knock-off there is, it tastes even worse than Dr. Pepper..." she said, ranting a little bit.
