"The journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step.." Sickle muttered behind her as they moved towards the group. The mood was heavy in the living room. A prelude to war. Sickle thought of the horrid chance their ragtag group had against the Guardian Unit of Nations, but knew... if they got outside the borders... they had a chance. A chance to turn the unit around and force them to show their true colors. A chance to kick them around and send them to their origin. A chance to free the world of their hypnotic tyranny over the populace of many nations.
Protection at the cost of rights. Protection from what, though? The main threat, as Sickle was aware of, was from the inside of G.U.N., not from the roving mercenaries on the outside of their influence.

Slash had been watching the young soldier as he had scurried through halls and corridors, not really sure what he was doing.
"Well ****, it this fricken kid knew where he was going then I'd figure out what was happening by now.
It was no understatment. The boy had gotten himself lost, trapped in the archives, and even caused a small alarm when he had gone into a restricted area. A practical walking hazard zone with legs. This made Slash chuckle inwardly. He couldn't imagine himself ever being as uncoordinated as this little insect... Only Lea was forgetful enough to-
Slash gritted his teeth silently. He knew that the files that had been taken were more than likley hers and his, but had no idea what they could have to do with the mission.... More than likley Reed would try to make some kind of move to get Slash overthrown...but that couldn't happened. Not when things were so soon to come to fruition. His frown turned into a twisted smile, but was soon cut off when the boy scurried back toward his destination: Reed's quarters.
"This'll be fun." Slash thought as he peered at the boy from afar. " Let's see....should I take him out first and just kill the b*****d, oooor let him have his fun first?" He scratched his nose contimplativley as the shakey soldier squeezed into his quarters. "Let's play."
((Yay, sadistic man returns! XDD If there are any errors or it doesn't make sense just let me know. Wasn't sure where to fit him.))

Lea and Anna had sat silently as their small group began to converge inside the house. It wasn't until most everyone was inside that Lea let out a grunt.
"We should go inside, we're probably going to get our instructions."
Staring blankley at the floor, Anna could only nod as they went back into the house. She let her mother in front of her, so to not let her see her face twist in pain as they entered. She was leading her mother to her death.

The walls of the house had started to steadily shake. It was a small shake, to be sure, but noticeable. As Super walked into the room he quickly told everyone not to be alarmed. "You just moved underground with the entire place shaking like a child in frigid water. A little shaking isn't going to kill us." He added. Moving across the room, Super kicked down the TV, causing it to crash on the floor. Behind it lay a panel that Super quickly removed and punched numbers into a terminal. A wall slot opened and everyone within the room could easily see a stockpile of light and heavy weaponry, G.U.N. grade and advanced, detailed on the wall. Wearing a tight fitting Kevlar jacket, Super quickly strapped on two grenades and picked up a small SMG and holstered it on his leg-strap. "I want everyone who is coming to have some sort of projectile weaponry." He said quickly as he grabbed a larger rifle and attached a shoulder strap to it. "Sparky, you are excused because of your bolts." He said, well aware of her dislike of guns. Besides, he needed her to protect Nadia at all costs if he were to fall.
Quickly leaving the room, Super surveyed the camera feeds in his lab. G.U.N. was starting to mobilize. "Good, they think we're gonna bomb 'em." He smirked. "At least they're right." He muttered, turning around to one of his inventions. It actually wasn't even close to an invention, but rather a retooling of an existing weapon. Super had constructed four of them from a greater bomb, lessening their payload but allowing more use and added a tactical advantage to them. Quickly dialing in a set of commands, he took a moment on the timer. He stared at it, thinking about the time it would take to clear the area without making a martyr out of himself and the others.
Super punched in 20:00. Twenty minutes. A second later, the timer read 19:59. He turned around. Punching commands on the keyboard, he looked back up at Tela. "Tela, status. How much memory do you have left?"
"Running at full power. Memory starting to fail. Operations at 85%. Holding steady. Predicted time before meltdown... Thirty minutes." She said, a noticeable sadness in her voice. Super took a moment to reflect on his emotion matrix. Perhaps he shouldn't of added the self-preservation index, because right now, he was making himself feel like a monster. "Tela, I wouldn't worry about going insane. I don't think I've given you that much time."
"Affirmative." She said.
"Tela, I want you to send everything you have at G.U.N.'s mainframe. Use James encryption code and the backdoor left by Leslie. I'm sorry to betray their trust, but they had to have know I'd do this eventually. I hope they think well of me." He said, before grabbing a black duffel and snatching up his most useful nick-knacks. As he grabbed the other three bombs, he came upon the armed one and quickly reset the timer. "Twenty minutes after I leave the lab." He muttered.

"Hot ****!" Anna chuckled with a toothy grin, surveying the horde of weaponry. Tail wagging, she began to load up on projectiles, shoving them happily into her pockets.
Lea only gave a chuckle as she watched the spectical. Looks like both her dad and Slash had influenced her after all. Then, a bit grudgingly, she followed suit and started to grab a few odds and ends that were in the compartment. Then, out of humor or just the fact she always wanted to try one, she slung a fairley large bazooka on her back.
"So, what happens in twenty minutes?"
"He gets everyone killed because of his own neglegance"
Lea shot a warning glance at Anna, who only gave a light sniff and began to inspect her large pile of weaponry.
--------------------------
Slash stood behind the small boy, smiling widley as he stood in the quarters of his "past" commander. At first Slash was a bit confused why the boy had gone to the quarters in the first place, maybe because the body of Reed hadn't been positivley identified: he had done quite a number on it. Thinking back on his little game made his smile become the more wider, almost to the point of him giving out a small laugh, but he stifled it once he saw the boy stand up to the large desk. It was a lucky break for Slash that he'd taken his old prototype of Lea's cloaking device as a keepsake on his desk. Sentimental crap aside, Slash stood silently as he eyed the soldier, deciding when to make his strike.
Before he could lift up his hands, a figure suddenly turned in the large chair. Slash's ears shot up as Brass's disgruntled expression met with the boy, who jumped back for a moment before shakily placing the files on the desk.

Sickle tapped Anna on the shoulder. "Don't whisper @#$% under your breath when wolves and foxes are about. We can hear you." He warned. "And I don't appreciate it." Sickle caught the warning glance Lea meant for Anna and he decided that was proof enough for the younger wolf to shut up. "Negligence isn't something Super is known for." He added on his way out the door to Super's Garage. "Oh, and he meant before this house goes boom, twenty minutes."
Sickle unloaded some weapons from another compartment in the Garage and placed them in the back of the SUV Super owned. Sickle grabbed his favorite weapon, the Sniper Rifle, and slug it on his back, opting for a smaller SMG to be tied around his right leg. Lastly, he grabbed a Magnum, checked the safety, and stuck it in his inner vest pocket. Killing from afar was just as effective as killing up close.
Super walked in the garage, gave a nod to Sickle, and threw his duffel bag in the trunk space. He didn't say anything.
"So, I suppose now we're true convicts. Scum of the Earth in the eyes of the media." Sickle said. "I never liked the media."
Super cracked a smirk. "Neither did I. I found it too biased. And ever since G.U.N. bought the major networks, people only hear what G.U.N. tells them." He said. Turning to Sickle, he sighed. "I suppose that's how they've kept the other organization quiet for so long here." He explained. Sickle nodded. Super placed a hand on Sickle. "Thanks for being here, buddy. Don't know what I'd do without ya."
"You?" Sickle laughed. "You'd be boring and serious and be a total d**k." Sickle joked.
Super had the most bemused face on.

Super approached Lea and Anna as they entered the garage, he stopped Lea a moment before pointing that they should put everything in the second car. "I'm going to need you two to do something else for me." He said. Turning to Sickle, he nodded slowly and brought the girls to his office, after quick whine from Anna.
Once there, the hedgehog proceeded to give Lea a secondary mission. She would become their eyes and ears here. With a wealth of stealth and militaristic training under her belt, he was confident that she could handle it. There was a quick discussion about Anna and her role, and Super left it that it was really her decision, and things were ultimately settled with Anna staying with Lea.
It was five minutes later that Super and Sickle watched Lea and Anna speed away in Super's only other vehicle - a white Jeep Explorer. It was simple, and as they turned the corner and away from sight, Sickle turned to Super. "Think she'll be okay?"
"Doubtless. Anna has a good grasp over future events, even if they are already radically changed. My only hope she doesn't disappear soon." He stated. The wolf looked over, surprised. He understood just as quick. It laid a seed of doubt in his brain, however, upon the condition of Beo. He decided not to pursue it.
-------------
Brass's fingers drummed the desk in front of the soldier. After a moment of silence, the Commander stood up and gave the soldier a long, hard look. "Well?" He drawled out, seething a type of militaristic evil that even Slash had to fear and admire. As the Sergent quickly gave his report, Slash moved about the room as stealthily as possible. Without a sound, without a touch, he leaned in over the table to get a better look at the documents supplied. Not everything was about him. In fact, as he listened, he soon found out he was merely the opening line. Whatever had this Sergent so shaken was not him... but of something else. They only referred to it in code. Project Viper, they kept saying. Long drawn out strings of data he couldn't get a grip on, even with his sharp mind.
Before he knew it, the Sergent was grabbing all the files and hastily moving to get away from the room. Slash was bemused with the information he had acquired. He only got the basic gist of it, but with his cloaking device, he would surely get to know everything about this 'Project Viper'. Brass put his hand on the table, leaning toward the Sergent before muttering, "Leave it on the table." He ordered. "Leave." The Sergent almost through the papers on the table, through up a hasty salute, and almost ran out of the room. "Wait." Brass called out one last time. The Sergent froze. "I have one more thing to ask you." He said, looking toward the officer. He smiled. Slash suddenly felt the air run cold. "Please take our dear friend here to the prison." He said. Slash's head spun quickly to the side to look at Brass, but before he even could think, the bullet flew from the chamber and entered his leg. The impact on the floor overloaded the cloaking matrix and shattered unto the ground. Slash howled as the Sergent shrieked at the apparent apparition of the white wolf.
It wasn't long at all before Slash was completely chained up against the wall, force fed bread and water as he coughed up strange concoctions they were forcing on him to make him talk. Everything he thought he could hide. Things he didn't even know he remembered came pouring out. And that was only within the first week.
