Listening, Kalore had his legs drawn up, easily sitting like that on the small piano bench. The boy really did need to get more meat on his bones... But back to Monty. the elf listened, his eyes closing as a small smile was on his features. This demon could play amazingly well, much better than Kalore thought was possible. Monty was just full of surprises...

Monty almost got lost into the song but stopped and shook his head. He shouldn't have played that song. It brought on too many memories. He sat there, breathing and trying to calm down. Which surprisingly came easy this time than usual. He had to get himself under control before he spoke to Kalore. That would be humiliating.

Cocking his head to the side, Kalore opened his eyes and looked at the man, "Something wrong?" He hoped that Monty could read his lips even though he was leaning on his knees. The song was great, but then the demon had just stopped for some reason. Kalore wondered what had happened to make Monty stop. Hopefully he wasn't the cause of it...

Monty looked at Kalore from the corner of his eye and shook his head slightly. "I...I forgot the rest of the song." He said quietly and straigthened up and placing the cello aside. "I'm sorry that I couldn't remember the rest." Monty looked away from Kalore and stared at the cello and looked at the room itself. If Kalore saw the haunted look in his eyes, then he would question. This elf was curious after all.

Brows furrowed as Kalore sensed something else that was wrong, "You sure? I think something is wrong..." He was still mouthing out these words as Kalore looked at him with his head still cocked to the side. There had to be something wrong, but he didn't know what it was. Monty forgetting a song that obviously had some meaning to him wasn't very believable...But if it was too bad, Kalore would back off.

Blinking, the demon chuckled softly. "Is Kalore being concerned for a demon? Seriously? Now that is surprising elf but everything is fine. I haven't played that song in a long time until now. Now that you let me remember, I'll have to work on remembering the rest so you can hear it." He said looking at the elf with a slight smile in his eyes that masked the memories. Thankfully. He didn't want Kalore to worry.

Kalore's eyes showed that he didn't believe him, but the man nodded, not wanting to bombard Monty with unwanted questions. "I see..." Looking him over again, he sighed but then nodded, "It was pretty...I liked it. What's the title?"

"There is no title. It was never named." He said and looked at the floor, that haunted look crossed his features. Maybe it was bad to show some form of emotion in front of Kalore but he felt like he trusted Kalore so perhaps it was okay. The elf won't exploit him...Would he?

Another look of concern went on Kalore's face as he got up from the bench and knelt down in front of him. "You okay?" He made sure that he wasn't that close to Monty, but close enough to reach if he needed to. Something had been seen on Monty's face, but Kalore really didn't know how it was going to work out with him asking him about this...Hopefully he didn't die. But if he did... Kalore started saying a couple of prayers and repents...

Monty didn't see Kalore move and when he was knelt in front of him he slightly flinched. Blinking back the look he looked at Kalore perplexed. "Hm?" He said distractedly. Was the elf truely concerned about what was going on with Monty? No. There was nothing wrong with him. He was fine he told himself. Trying to convince himself which wasn't working. Then again he was moved by the concern by this display of concern.

That flinch worried Kalore more than anything. Moving his head to the side, he mouthed out, "Are you okay?" He was starting the feel as if something was really wrong with the demon, and that was odd. Monty wasn't someone that seemed to allow himself to be seen like this, so Kalore was just getting even more worried.

Nodding the elf looked up. "Do you still have coffee?" He asked, trying to distract himself and Kalore away from this small situation. It was nothing big and just a surprise that he would remember anything, especially in front of someone else. It was nothing.

Kalore sighed and nodded, getting up and taking his cup. If Monty didn't want to tell him, then Kalore wouldn't pry for information. Monty didn't to that to him, so there was no reason for the elf to bother him. He got some coffee and went back to the kneeling position, handing it to him. "Here."

"Thank you." He took the cup and chugged it down, holding the cup in his hand. He took a few deep breathes and calmed down. "Thank you...Kalore." He said softly, his head bowed down. He was taking this all out of portion and that wasn't necessary. "I'm fine Kalore. I'm just hard on myself. If you haven't notice, I strive for perfection in everything. This is one of those." He said cooly.

Looking at him, Kalore nodded, "Okay...Is there anything I can do to help you?" He didn't know why it mattered, but it did. For some reason he just wanted to help Monty as much as he could. More than likely it was because Monty had helped him multiple times and Kalore wanted to make it up to the man. But there was something else in him that he wanted to do... Bad thoughts! Bad thoughts!
