Look up the book Do You Speak American? It's by an Lingusit (sp?) doctor who studied the way the American people talk. And, my GOD, have we mutalated the English language! I want that book!
My teacher told us that "goodbye" used to be "God bless you". She told us something esle too I think. But I wasn't paying attention. sweatdrop *laughs* who pays attention? i want that book as well termite-->bug xd

I always thought they were those pretty trophys shaped like big goblets. And they have money inside. whee
