Tares arrived at the academy and walked over to the book shelf as the Mizukage told him to do, and he pulled the scroll of jutsu's off the shelf. "Finally i can prove to master Luo that i am not a piece of s**t and that i am worthy to live in his house!" With that Tares pulled open the scroll of Basic water Jutsu and was ready to learn the first one in the scroll.
Mizu no Waruasobi (Trick of Water) Description: A very simple technique which involves a simple flick of one's hands and a muster of sweat in the fingers. A precise flick comes from of the hands or even a shake can be made as if trying to get something off one's hands. The water streaks from the hand of the user and towards the enemy's eye. This unexpected irritation can blur their vision.
Tares set the scroll on the table and prepared him self, he tried focusing his chakra and tried to squeeze some sweat to his fingers. He flick his wrist and a drop of sweat flipped off the edge of his fingers and flew into his own eye. "Son of a biscuit!" he cried out.

Rei walked into the Academy library looking for scrolls on water Jutsus when she saw Tares, a boy from a class they shared. "Hey Tares!"

"Oh, hey Rei," Tares said rubbing his eye. "Whats up?" Tares tried again with the Mizu no Waruasobi jutsu and he tried the hand signs and focused his chakra again. Tares flicked his wrist and a streak of water flew into Shige's eye. "Oh crap! Sorry about that." Tares apologized, he walked over and patted the dogs head that was on Riei's shoulder.

Rei notices Tares was looking at a water scroll. Well, there goes that idea. She poked around a bit and found a second copy of the basic water jutsus and unrolled it. The Water Trick... hmmm. You have to start somewhere!

Shige whined as the salty water hit him in the eye. He started blinking really quick and he complained about how he couldn't see very well. Tares came over to pat his head and the little wolf snapped at his hand. "Shige!" Rei admonished the little puppy for biting. He whined but was not apologetic. Tares gave a nice laugh and went back to his scrolls. Rei smiled a bit and with a laugh in her voice she said,"Hey, if you're done hitting my dog with your advanced jutsus I'm kind of in need of at least a partner to practice with. I can find someone else if you don't want to of course..."

While Tares was doing whatever, she decided to try the Water Trick. She sent a bit of chakra to her fingers, coaxing out the moisture from her fingers and attempted to flick it. It went some distance across the room, but it missed her target.

Still determined, Rei decides to try again. She sends a bit less chakra under tighter control down the chakra vein to her hand and lets it collect in her fingertips again. This time, the sweat hits it's mark. Tares' ear! =D Shige will be pleased. Her thoughts were confirmed as she felt his tail wag a bit inside of her hood.
Time to try the next one: Mizu Soujuu (Water Manipulation) Description: Any Mist Shinobi that uses ninjutsu should likely have this technique. This involves learning basic manipulation of the properties of water. Boiling, freezing, and pressurization of water are included in these studies. Freezing is mostly limited to small amounts of water, and boiling includes the creation of steam by further putting chakra into the water. The user cannot perform these tasks on larger bodies of water with this basic study alone. Furthermore, by learning to draw water from the moisture in the air, the shinobi can use water techniques without requiring a source of water nearby (unless stated otherwise.) A Kage level jutsu always requires a water source, even if the Mist-nin in question creates it first.
She struggled a bit to send chakra through the air to manipulate the water in Tares' bottle. She was trying to stir it since he wasn't drinking it.... Unsuccessful attempt.

Noticing that Rei grabbed another scroll, Tares sighed,"Sorry about that, you can look off mine if you want." Tares offered. Seeing as she already had a scroll Tares shrugged and went back to his desk to learn the next jutsu on the list.

Tares pulled and water bottle out of his back pack and opened it, this seemed like a nice basic jutsu to learn. Again he focus his chakra and attempted to make the water boil. After several minutes of trying nothing happened. So Tares touched the water bottle and it felt warm. But that was not good enough.

Tares ignored the water that hit his ear. He again focus on learning water manipulation. Tares focused his chakra and could sense that the water was heating up and ready to boil. He looked at the bottle and and the boiling water overflowed on to the desk. He quickly shaped the water in to tiny little droplets of water and lifted them back into the bottle. "Success," he smirked. "Time for the next. How is your rat doing?" he ask Rei.

"Who are you calling rat?!" Rei hoped it worked this time. She took the water from Tares' waterbottle and splashed a bit at his face.

Tares ducked under the water that flew at him from his bottle. He then tried to learn his next move in that instant. "Mizu Bushiin no Jutsu." Tares said as he drew water from the bottle and the air to create his clone. With a splash of water the clone epically failed and splashed into a puddle on the floor.
Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu (Water Clone Technique) Description: Creates one or multiple identical copies of the original out of water. More similar to Kage Bunshin then a regular Bunshin, water clones are capable of attacking, except each clone is roughly 1/10 the power of the original. The water clone can perform one jutsu that the user also knows once. It must be a water elemental jutsu. One solid hit will destroy the clone.

With a light sigh, Luo's water clone appeared in the room in front of the two. "I'm here to train you two properly. If a teacher isn't in sight, learning becomes a lot more difficult. Which jutsu are you two on?"

Tares formed the hand signs again. "Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu!" Tares formed the clone out of the water puddle on the floor. The clone stood and bowed behind Luo. The real Tares dispersed the clone after it bowed.

That show-off Rei thought to herself. She smiled. She would have to work hard to keep up. So, he knew water manioulation, the water trick, and now the water clone jutsu. He knew another jutsu than she did already...
