Monty shook his head. "I don't trust him. From what you told me in the elevator it got me thinking but I put it aside. Then...When he was put under lockdown and he was playing with the Twins....I didn't like how he acted. It was far from innocent and that crap he pulls with Gambler." He growled and took a sip of coffee. "Then...After the interrogation from Gambler, she felt like he was hiding something from her but she didn't want to force it out of him."
Shifting on the chair he sat straighter. "It also has to deal with the way Ivan acted. Something slightly distance and wary, a rare thing coming from him." 'It also had to deal with you and the situation but that's unconfirmed and I'm not going to say that.' He should have but he wasn't ready.

Listening to this, Kalore nodded, "Ah." He then looked confused, "Acted? What do you mean?" He didn't know about that part...At least Kalore didn't think that he did. If Ivan was acting odd around Eldin, that had to mean something. Hadn't the two gotten close like brothers recently? He didn't know for sure, but Kalore thought for sure that that sounded right.

Monty shook his head and lowered his voice. "Kyoshi told me that Ivan was edgy when he returned with him. It was odd but when I got a chance to speak with him he told me what happened after me and Gambler sent him off with the boy." He clenched his teeth, somewhat disturbed by this. "I think this is significant in what's surrounding Eldin but there was another person that we encountered before going to get you." He locked gazes with Kalore. "Maybe you need some paper and a pen to shed some light." He suggested. Perhaps they could help Kyin and Rave figure out if Eldin had a place or not. Even if Kalore didn't see Eldin, still, it would be good to try and shed that light.

Hearing this, Kalore's blood ran cold as he mouthed out, "Marn..." She had been in there with them, for some reason that Kalore didn't know and he had only taken it as she had actually turned traitor. He knew that that wasn't something that the woman would ever do....But neither would Eldin! This just didn't make any sense...

Raising a brow, Monty motioned for him to sit. "You know something? Tell me what this person looks like....Write it down...Forgive me." He said and drank some more coffee. Looked like this was going to be a bad day for certain people.

Head down, Kalore wrote what he knew. "She has mousy brown hair...glasses normally...not that attractive, but not ugly. Very matter-of-fact and kinda stuck upish when she needs to be. Marn was one of the only other people who could have done something like this...She's a powerful druid...and was one of my closest friends..." Kalore already knew where this was going. Marn was down there, and she didn't make it out.

Monty nodded, not recalling the females features since all he could think about was getting the elf out. Bad mistake on his part but that was okay, he would ask Ivan again. "Tell me about her personality. Does she take kindly to being called princess?" He asked, remembering that Gambler had called her that and the woman they encountered was livid at that.

Eyes wide, Kalore shook his head vigorously. "No!" He didn't write that down but soon started writing, "She hates Cecilia, so she hates the concept of a princess. Marn would go nuts over that, thinking that they were nothing more than pompous children who fed on other people's lives..." It was sad but the truth. Kalore didn't agree with her views, but respected them seeing as he knew about her history.

Monty looked down and shook his head. "I see. Then....." He was so going to bring Gambler to explain her portion since it was her who fought the woman. Then again, the heathen was sleeping....Maybe when Eldin woke up he would interrogate the elf. That would put him at odds with everyone, especially with the main elves and Gambler but he wanted to do this because things couldn't go unlooked just because the boy was adorable to them. He didn't like the kid because of how he spoke to Monty in the apartment. That set him off. "When you elves do magic...Is there a specific color that your magic takes? Or is it all of them? This woman had green orbs shooting at Gambler and hitting Ivan instead." It might not be important but it might.

That question had to be thought about for a while as Kalore wrote on the paper for a long time, thinking of what to say. "I...I don't know. I'm not really all that well taught in magic...I actually suck at it save for a few things. Um... Rave and Eldin and Lord Kyin would all know the answer to that, me? Not so much. I think each element has it's own color, but I don't know for sure."

Then it hit him. "Exactly what was her element? Was she able to disable a person by using stone?" If this was the same woman that they were talking about then.....That meant....

Kalore sighed and nodded, "Stone...yeah." He knew now for sure that it was Marn that they had met in the catacombs, but...Did they kill her? Kalore didn't think that Gambler would do that. "She and Eldin are some of the only ones that can do that." That was one of the reasons Eldin had been on lock down before. Because he had the power to control not only life and nature, but stone as well. Elves didn't work with stone, so it was something that was very hard for them to do.

Monty covered his eyes and sighed. "We didn't kill her." He said, shaking his head. "Damnit. This isn't good." He looked at Kalore with grimance. "I think Eldin is hiding a bad side. I don't want you anywhere near him. Am I understood?" He said quietly, showing his concern for what was coming to together slowly.

Looking confused, Kalore opened his mouth to ask what he meant, but then it hit him. "No..." There's no way...That kid would never do something like that. Yes, Kalore didn't trust Eldin, but this was just too much. Surely... "Did he?" He was really hoping that he was wrong, but something in him just screamed at him telling him that Marn was dead and it was Eldin that got rid of her.

Monty gave Kalore a serious look and nodded. "Ivan was there when it happened. It happened while we went to get you. There are ways for me to confirm that but it won't be pretty. I have never known that boy to lie about anything and this is one of those times that I believe him." He finished his coffee. "I won't try anything until Rave and Kyin come back. Though, if you could give some more coffee, I might be able to keep calm until then." Hopefully.
